This is a Bait and *************** I called Amica to make a claim for my son's windshield to be replaced. I was quoted exactly $374.31. I wrote it down. The next day the Safelite van showed up and the gentleman told me I owed $507. I said no, I owe $374.31. He called his boss who told him to explain to me there are taxes and fees. $140 in taxes and fees? No **** I sent him away. I called Amica who sent me promptly back to Safelite. That representative told me there are always disposal fees and taxes and other fees NOT included in the quote, the quotes they give out are ONLY for the actual glass replacement. Seriously? She stated this like I should have known this. Ridiculous. The very definition of Bait and Switch is to quote one price and then charge a higher price the day of services. This is a Bait and Switch tactic. I called a local company in ************* today and was quoted $255.65, all in, that INCLUDES taxes and disposal and all fees. That is 1/2 the price of the scam Safelite has running. So glad I sent Safelite away and called local. Don't fall for their pricing. They will try to get you for more bc they think you are a captive audience. Call around. Use someone with good ****** reviews. There is a reason Safelite has between 1.2 and 3.4 stars universally. Safelite is a terrible company out to get you for every ***** they can.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

This is my second vehicle to take to Safelite in less than 2 years, and they could not produce what they guarantee. The first vehicle was a ***** Accord. (SHOULD HAVE LEARNED MY ****** WITH THAT ******). It took 6 months and 4 trips to finally get that window replaced. Today, I take my Land Rover in, this is now the 3rd time, in less than 3 months in trying to get the windshield replaced. Take to the shop today and drop in ********** *****, only to get a call within the hour that, LR sent the wrong window. Which is not true. What has happened, is that they quoted me one price, which is for the correct windshield but ordered an aftermarket less expensive product, that now they have found will not work on my LR due to all of the computers in my car and on the calibration. They have now realized this and are now back-peddling saying that LR sent them the wrong window and that they cant get the correct window and it is way more expensive. They now realize they will loose money if they order the correct part and install the one that belongs in my car due to the less expensive window they tried to pass off on me will not work. Ironically, their story is now they can not get the correct windshield. How can you be in the windshield business and not be able to get the windshield?I would not be giving them a star at all but there is no way to post without rating this ridiculous business practice.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Safelite ******* was ****'s requirement if I wanted the windshield replaced in network.I live 40 minutes away. En Route for the first appt I get notified there is a defect in the "new" windshield and to reschedule. 2 weeks later, the car is in their possession (1 hour+ round trip to drop it off) and ANOTHER call to say the "new" windshield has a defect and will have to reschedule.The Tech says he can get another easily but doesnt have the time in the next few days and will have to be rescheduled again. Went on to say "go across the street to the competition" because I will not work you in despite 3 reschedules and unnecessary trips.Just simply not worth bothering with this work ethic and this company. Unfortunately they have volume and could care less about individual customers as you are easily replaced with another person willing to play their games.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Safelite installed my windshield l8/26/23 last year. My truck stopped running about a month ago, after heavy rain. Mechanic said its been leaking from windshield for at least a year from looking at connectors that had corrosion on. After replacing BCM, and all connectors, that run to it from corrosion, tear out all seats, and carpet, to get mold off Renting a truck for the 3 weeks, its been in shop, they say its not there fault, and there not going to pay. They had a tech come out and take my windshield out then replace with new seal. The tech stated he shall two places where water definitely was getting in. After installed, they tested before and after . Before switching windshield, it filled passenger floor with water. Tested after new windshield and no leaks. How is this not your fault??? Damage and rental up to *****, Talking with lawyers now, on taking them to court , not only for cost , but the mold weve been breathing in.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Wow. Unbelievably bad service, poorly trained techs, impossible to navigate phone trees, and the manager in charge of this shop has an attitude like she is doing everyone a favor by speaking an occasional word. They came out, botched the instal - mystery pieces didn't fit my exotic 2014 ****** Sienna. **** made me call to ask for correct parts - that was a very long process to get to the actual shop. When I finally did they had no idea what the missing part was "a rubber piece" was the note. On top of that the tech left two rubber pieces of molding sticking straight up out of the windshield. When I finally spoke to ******** the manager (sp?) she was rude and dismissive. She then told me she would followup in a couple days to narrow down the window of time I had to se aside. NO CALL. I again call back, having to go through e-chats because the number she gave me was bogus. She again had an attitude that I was a problem. No apology for any of it. Whoever responds to this post will say we are so sorry --- well ******** isn't. She could not give two ***** as far as customer service. BEYOND BAD & RUDE.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Safelite Replace the front windshield on my ***** 2015 GS 350, the glass was after market glass, which was fine. However, my molding was twisted and would not fit flush. I was initially told that because it was an after market glass that the molding would not sit flush (which was noticable). Then I was told that it the reason didn't fit flush because it wasn't supposed to fit flush by (***** ******* -Macon, Ga area quality control). But, if I can show him a like model, whereas it is in fact flush, he will address the problem again. Also, the glass has a rough upper edge which is very noticeable . *******, indicates that although it may be noticeable, it meets Safelite standards and refused to honor the guarantee.I feel as if I've been bullied by Safelite to accept the botched job performed, as they refuse to fix the molding and refuse to return my money. When dealing with the issue ***** ******* was rude and condescending.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Im extremely frustrated with safelite customer service. I had an appointment schedule last week, when the tech got there and realized one of the pieces was damage, he still proceeded with the other piece, which he damaged while installing. So he put the car back together and said someone would contact me to reschedule. Nobody contacted me, Instead I got an email with a date and time it was rescheduled for without checking my availability. On top of that the amount doubled without an explanation. I called and got the ***************** was suppose to be my reschedule appt! I received an email, not a phone call that my appointment was rescheduled again. Frustrated, yet again so I called around and found a place that quoted me half the price that I initially got from safelite. Even better theyre getting me in Friday! Very disappointed with communication and service with safelite. I will not be recommending to anyone. Very pour customer service and communication.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I have been waiting for my window to be repaired for 2 months. They came out the first time but the tech was not made aware of the quarter glass (I told them when scheduling.). The 2nd time they came out they did not have the correct part. Now they say they are waiting on the partstill. I was originally told that there was a problem with the payment info from safelite, not me. Nobody can get it together and find out what the problem is. Ive reported it to corporate and they couldnt care less as well. I will absolutely NEVER use them again! Absolutely horrible customer service!Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

By far the worst customer service experience *** ever had. I am licensed and insured through progressive insurance and my windshield was broken and they scheduled me with Safelite. I had spoke with a representative and they scheduled me for an appointment today between the hours of 12 PM and 5 PM and no one showed . Its been raining all day and so I called them to find out what was the issue and they told me I was knocked off the schedule even though I sat and waited for them for five hours along with that. I had to have everything removed for my garage so that they had enough space to do the work and all those items are sitting now on my lawn. Covered with the tarp because its been raining all day. they did not offer me any concessions or free windshield wiper replacement or anything all they would give me is a new rescheduled appointment for five days from my appointment date! I am highly upset and I will not be using them any further for service. Ive already told progressive and asked for them to give me a local company that I can call for service. I would highly not recommend them . They may be well with advertising, but they need help with their customer service.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I was supposed to have my windshield replaced at my home but then the tech said he had to test drive it and was gone for close to an hour!! Website said nothing about a test drive! Who know what he was doing in my car or where he was going. When I called the office to ask about it, I was just given the run around AND a FAKE number to call! Do not use safelite!
