      Safelite is terrible. My windshield in my 2022 car was replaced in June 2023. One week later, I took the car through a car wash and over a GALLON of water was gushing through the center of my windshield through the windshild camera, all over the electronics and filling the cupholders in the center console. Safelite came back THREE times -- replaced the windshield which fixed the LARGE GAP which was left by the technician in the first place. However, they were not able to recalibrate the camera -- this was over a few appointments, each lasting hours. The car continues to give an error message stating that the SAFETY FEATURES on the car are not working. Safelite then told me I needed to just take the car to the *** dealership. I did so. After a few hours at the dealership, it was discovered that the camera is BROKEN and needs replacement. I was given an estimate of approximately $2,500.00. Safelite would not approve this. They required ANOTHER appointment for their technician to confirm the camera is broken. Meanwhile, almost TWO MONTHS later, the Safety features on my car are inoperable. I was told Safelite would contact me and would order and replace the camera. They never contacted me -- instead I have continued to follow up and the camera and appointment is still not set up. Two weeks have passed. My work and travel is impacted and the car is still not fixed or safe. This is all because of Safelite not doing good work or following through.

      Safelite is aligned with our horrible insurance. The front windshield of our 2024 Hyndai Kona SEL got a chip close to top on driver's side. We filed a claim through our app and it immediately diverts to the Safelite site to upload and process. The vehicle sat for more than 24hrs waiting for repair. We did not receive any physical documents to sign saying it was a good repair or damaged. Within 2 hrs the windshield was cracked from the driver's side top down under the mirror and onto the passenger side. Safelite refuses to acknowledge the Incompetence of the technician and offered to help go through our insurance for full replacement. If we could give them a - stars that's what I would do. This is a huge failure in the system. USAA is also a problem because they route claims directly to Safelite. They kept repeating the same thing over and over again, repairs can fail. I agree, but not from sitting in one place. The car wasn't moved before the repair, and remained for 2hrs after it. This is fraud.

      I saw the TV commercial and decided to set an appointment to replace my car window. The next appointment was for more than a week ahead. I scheduled a day off from work and was excited for the technician arriving. They called a couple of days before to confirm the meeting. Guess what? No one showed up or call. I contact customer service and was told that no one was assigned to my case. Don't waste your time! ****** recommend someone to lose a work day for nothing!JZ

      I had a 1:00 appointment on Saturday. Thank goodness I got there early because no one told me I would have a 3&1/2 wait. The only 2 helpful people at this one was the young lady at the desk and the service tech that brought my car around. The other guy that was behind the desk was too worried about being on his phone and having a grand ole time was absolutely no help you can tell he is only there for a paycheck. Spoke so unprofessional to be what looked like the head man in charge I cant tell you how many times I heard the word bruh come out of his mouth. Finally after 2&1/2 hours I asked how much longer on my car and was told ****** min I finally walked out after over an hour after that. Then to get in my car to see that my necklace holding my dogs ashes and my daughters crystal all tangled up in my cup holder broken! Yanked off the rearview mirror. If this is how customers get treated here I will not go back. When I went back in there and showed the man he held it and looked at it like he was a deer caught in head lights. I took it back and walked out. These people wouldnt want their property handled in such a manor and it looks like they would be considerate of others property not knowing what sentimental value it holds!

      Safelite is not honest. Do not trust Safelite. Do not use ************************* April 2024, my windshield was damaged. Filed a claim with ****. USAA recommended Safelite.Not easy to get an appointment. Technician said last windshield was improperly installed and that side panels were glued on. He would have to break the panels to pull them off. Did not sound right. Technician then told us how to buy replacement panels and gave us written instructions for ordering them.We ordered the side panels. Took a while for the panels to come. Eventually secured an appointment and new technician came. He said, "You ordered the wrong side panels." We said, "But we ordered exactly what Safelite wrote down." Technician said, "Not our issue, we are installing new panels as a favor." We then asked what panels to order. He did, and we ordered new ********** panels came in (at this point we were our of pocket for two sets of panels). New technician came out. He was very quiet and then said, "Your original panels were not improperly installed. The original technician did not know how to take them off. You have to remove a s**** and slide the panel down, not pull the panel off. Our technician broke the panels." He then replaced one side but said he needed parts that were broken to replace the other panel. Technician came out and fixed second panel. Day after the fix, a crack appeared starting exactly where second panel was replaced. Crack spread across windshield. We called Safelite warranty. Technician, ****, finally came out today (August 17, *****. He said he would need to inspect before replacing. He lifted panel and found a blemish where crack started. **** said that must be from an impact. I responded that it could not be from an impact, as damage started under panel, and panel had no damage. **** said sorry, can't help you, but I will have my manager call right away. Manager did not call.

      If I could give zero stars I would. I havent had my windshield for a year yet and after 24 hours it had to be replaced again it split right down the middle. Here we are 6 months later crack right down the driver side. I called them and told them the situation it started from under the rubber. A tech came out today and said the store manager said any going to replace it that it was caused by a rock? Exactly how when it started under the rubber? And then branched out? When I called to make a complaint I was told by the store manager that there were no notes taken at time of call to later find out there was. So not only did they not honor the warranty I was then lied to by the store manager. Wow Safelite way to pick your employees. I most definitely will not recommend them. Why would I want people I care about to be treated poorly and taken for their money?

      Had a rock chip 1/8 th the size of a pea farmington NM wanted ****** to repair that is ridiculous talk about price gouging not happening they will never see me in a safelite business again...

      Their "lifetime" warranty is actually a 30 day from install warranty. Truthfully, by the way they acted, I doubt they would even honor that. Safelite replaced the windshield on my vehicle back in Feb '22. During this replacement, they broke a plastic part of the rear view mirror mount. As they are not responsible for the damage to the mirror I did not report this to them. I do not expect them to replace a 22 year old mirror. A crack has slowly developed at this location due to the stress of adjusting the broken mirror, that only became visible recently as most of the damage is behind the mirror mount.I also noticed a leak after a very heavy rainstorm which poured water into the passenger compartment on the passenger side. At this point I scheduled a warranty replacement.After arriving, two safelite employees at this location came up with multiple excuses to deny warranty service. It's actually the sunroof, the water flows this way and can back up that way, it is actually the ** leaking, etc, before they had even seen the vehicle. I told them I had tested the windshield with a hose past the sunroof and they still insisted it was not the windshield. They said it could be how the water was running down the vehicle. Only way this works is if they didn't fully seal the windshield in the first place. Very unprofessional, and I can see why they have such a low rating.

      I am very disappointed in the service I received. I went through my insurance company and set up an appointment with a shop in ********. On July 6th. The technician who worked on my car, damage another part on my car, while installing the glass. I asked to speak to a manager. Neither the Assistant Manager nor the Manager came out to speak to me. I spoke with a front desk person who said they would order the part, but it would take a week. I had to get back to ***********, before the week. I was informed that I could work with a Safelite in *******. I worked with the shop in ******* and the wrong part was ordered twice. I called corporate office and was promised calls back and never received any calls. The manager at the Houston shop finally got the part a week later and installed the damaged part. The entire ordeal took a month to get resolved.
