      Safelite has a bait and switch tactic. Unfortunately when the tech came out to change my glass I was billed more than double due to a recalibration that wasn't not told to me when scheduling the replacement windshield! The Buford GA manager ****** is a liar and I would not recommend to anyone!

      Regarding Location: *************************************** We set up an appointment back on 1 May 2024 @ 7 am in preparation for my son leaving college out of state. The first appointment was disappointing since there was a mix-up between my vehicle and the automobile manufacturer on the windshield. As I understood the situation, we had to reschedule for another day/appointment. The second appointment was on 20 May (19 days later), and again, another "mix-up" between Safelite and the automobile manufacturer. As my days we wasting away there was ZERO to NO COMMUNICATION on the progress of my vehicle windshield replacement. There, on the THIRD appointment on 29 May 2024 @ 10 am, again...ANOTHER "mix-up" between Safelite and the automobile manufacturer. At this point, it is apparent that this location has had little care for customers as well as people's time and money. In all reality, I missed 3+ days of work that I really couldn't afford as, and best of all my son will not be able to take his vehicle to college (which is out-of-state). Worst of all, Safelte has BEEN PAID OUT by my insurance company therefore... legally, services have NOT BEEN RENDERED! My next step *** have to be legal action and or corporate assistance from Safelite. I *** also have to seek assistance through social media (Twitter-X, FB, ******** Instagram, etc.) and other local media outlets (troubleshooters) due to the lack of customer care, communication, and overall service. I'm sure the veteran community here in *********** would like to be informed of this lack of professionalism as well.

      They installed a window that they said was missing a piece but they would come back when they got it in. I called the main office and they said that they were going to look into the matter but I havent heard back from them and this was in January of this year. The window has to stay closed because of the missing piece.

      I called my insurance the day it happened. They set up an appointment for Safelite. For 1 week. They called on the day of the appointment and said they never ordered either windshield and will call me back. 2-3 weeks later they called and said they have it and I scheduled an appointment. I arrive and they said they had the windshield then all a sudden they do t have it and it went missing. Almost like they never ordered it or gave it to someone else. Stop wasting my time

      We set up an appointment with Safelite through our insurance company in ********We were told that a repairman would be at our home between 12-5. We waited all day. I called 4 times and each time I was told a later time in the day. Finally, at 6:30pm, we closed our garage door since no one was showing up. Now, we have to see what they will be doing to fix our windshield.

      I wish I could give ZERO stars. This safelite facility did over 2500 dollar to my vehicle and I had to take to another shop that then had it for A ENTIRE MONTH. Just for my vehicle to still come back damaged. The manager of the Worthington store proceeded to tell me to shove it when I told him I deserved a refund. No one at corporate or the district manager will talk to me on the phone. I will NEVER go back to safelite and will tell anyone thinking of going to safelite not to!

      Absolute incompetance, I initially set up an appointment to have my windshield replaced. I arrived early and after sitting in the wilting room for 30 minutes they came out and told me my replacement windshield had arrived damaged from their warehouse and that I would have to re-schedule. The receptionist (******) told me she could not reschedule me because their system was down and she assured me that she would call me back the next day to reschedule, after 2 days of waiting I called back and she told me the system was still down. After a week I finally received a call to set up another appointment for 7/30/2024 @ 3:30pm. I arrived and checked in at 3:15pm and was told it would be an Hour and a half to two hours.For a simple windshield replacement, I was there until 6:40pm for a total of over3 hours. Then on the way home I noticed that the technician that had worked on my vehicle forgot to put my state inspection sticker back on my new windshield. Secondly, I noticed that the technician tore off my VIN plate when he removed my old windshield and lastly the technician did not properly re-calibrate my vehicle and I have warning lights on.I have been trying to call the shop and ask to speak to the manager (****) and the receptionist transfers me and no one ever picks up. then the call transfers back to the receptionist after a few minutes of ringing and she doesn't answer either.Warning to all, save yourself the aggravation and do business elsewhere besides the Safelite located at ***********************.

      Cannot give this zero stars.. Extremely dissatisfied with the service and quality of work. I had a tiny chip that needed repaired. When the tech came to repair he called me to let me know he was almost here. About an hour later I get a phone call from him that I needed to come out because there was an unfortunate issue he needed to discuss. I go out to find that he had cracked my windshield. He admitted to me that it was technically too hot out to attempt a repair and that my car was locked so he wasnt able to cool the glass appropriately. Safelite says they are not liable in this situation. This was completely avoidable. To add to it, they keep try to schedule a glass replacement (which I have to cancel) as we are still trying to fight them without insurance. I feel that they are trying to rush us to get it replaced before insurance can finish this dispute so that they dont have to be liable for this.

      Safelite refuses to honor their own warranty. They replaced my windshield, which then had very minor damage from road debris, WHICH THEY REPAIRED, and then when a giant crack from top to bottom occurred they refused to address THEIR PROBLEM. Completely shoddy and crooked business.
