      I had Safelite replace my windshield about 5 weeks ago. During installation, my dashboard wad cracked. I noticed the following day. Sinthen, I've reached out to Safelite about a dozen times. I'm told each time that they need to talk to someone else and I will get a call back. I have yet to receive a call back. I'm currently on hold, which takes about a half hour each time, waiting to speak with someone about my issue. Before any work was done, they take pictures for any possible damage before the start. I've been accused of lying about the damage by one of their managers, but they haven't offered to show me any proof. I didn't have an issue until this point. Now it is about principal and holding them accountable. I've read the reviews for this shop, Colorado Springs on Aerotek Plaza, I really wish I had looked before taking my insurance companies recommendation. I've wasted hours trying to resolve this with no progress. Reading the reviews has proven to me that this is a reoccurring problem, Safelite will not stand behind their work. There are many other choices out there, before you are too disappointed, I'd shop local with someone that actually takes pride in their work. It is pitiful that such a large company would work so hard to deter anyone from making a claim and them rectifying the problem. I'll be reaching out to my insurance company to try to resolve this now and recommending that they do not suggest Safelite for repairs. I'll be looking for other places to leave thus review to help others avoid the piss poor business practices that I have encountered. Still on hold now at 28 minutes. I was told it would be handled quickly.Ive left one star only because no stars isn't available.

      I called Safelite and scheduled an appointment for a rock chip. Was set up with a two week wait to get it fixed. I was emailed a 9 hour window (8:00 to 5:00) for the “technician” to come to my house. I was called the day of the appointment at 1:00 and was told it would be more than 5 hours for them to come to fix windshield. I called and said that an 11 hour window was not acceptable and was going to have to reschedule. The so call customer service guy said it would be another 2 week. I made the mistake of calling their hot line to complain and was basically told “too bad so sad”. I will not be using their service ever.

      Poor communication. Safelite did not tell me they were NOT going to install a like in kind and quality windshield replacement (Jeep Wrangler windshields have the Jeep logos on it) and when I noticed after the service was completed and asked about it, i was told I would have had to request the OEM in advance. Renee said it was a new insurance process (which supported why I didn’t have to ask in advance in the past). They’ve pushed this back on me to deal with rather than rectifying the situation even though their lack of communication is the root cause of my problem. Regulation 64 was not followed and I was not given the opportunity to discuss the discrepancy with my insurance company before the service was performed so I am left with a lower quality windshield.

      The Woburn, MA, branch messed up my simple back door glass replacement. When I called to have this fixed per their "warranty," the manager of the branch yelled and hung up on me. I called the HQ number and for 2 weeks have chased a supposed district manager to get me into another branch and fix this problem, which I've completely paid in full. This business is careless, rude, unprofessional and irresponsible. Go elsewhere.

      Had my windshield replaced via mobile service. After the installation I noticed that it was aftermarket glass (no logo) and had distorted view (blurry) looking through the glass. 3 days later I got a chip in the glass from highway driving. Later that evening the glass had a crack that spanned the entire length of the windshield. I then had to make a warranty claim appointment. A couple of days later the tech showed up to let me know it was, "out of his hands". This is incredibly frustrating. Their customer service is horrible. I would never return for their business and I would never recommend Safelite Autoglass to anyone I know.

      They Put in a damaged windshield. Manager argued with me and was rude. They never notified me my car was ready, THEN the second time they had to replace windshield because of the damage they caused putting in the first one, the failed to hook the washer fluid back up correctly! This while ordeal is not resolved and it's going on 3 weeks. DETAILS: Took my car to the Arlington location and dropped off. When I went to pick it up, I noticed 3 chips/chunks in edge of windshield on the driver's side. The last at the front desk got a manager to come talk to me. I tried to explain that I noticed chips in windshield. He interrupted me mid sentence and said, "no no it's not chips it's a coating or edging that the techs are supposed to remove but that forgot." He grabbed a razor blade to peel the "coating." Guess what, it was chipped! The manager also interrupted me again, raising his voice telling me, "You're not listening to what I'm saying." Who speaks to a customer like that? I had to wait 7 days to have new windshield put in. Dropped off car at 8am, Uber ride home $15. No one called me to tell me my car was ready. Finally at 4 I messaged my spouse who said he got an email that car was ready around 10am, NO calls. I had to cancel a planned trip because I was under impression that car was not ready. Now here I am with my car back BUT windshield wiper fluid no longer works! The Safelite customer care rep sat on hold with me for THIRTY MINUTES trying to reach someone in the Cooper location. She had to message the store when nobody came back after putting her on hold. We finally got someone on the phone and then a manager. This whole experience is less than one star. I am now out $30 and Uber rides! The kicker to all this is that while I was waiting for my car after the Uber drove me back up there to pick it up, they offered another man who was waiting a ride home!! No one offered me a ride home and it was their fault My original windshield that they put in was messed up.

      If I could give zero stars, I would. This establishment is by far the WORST place I have ever been to. The manager, ******, he could not give two damns about any of his customers, or anyone for that matter. He comes off as rude, careless, ****** and honestly should just be let go. I DO NOT recommend that you come here to get your glass fixed. You may as well go to ABC Learning center and have the children do it there because that’s the kind of quality you’ll get here at this safelite establishment.

      They were rude. Tech never showed up, called or email that he was not coming. We waited all morning for him. When I called they said he was busy and they did not have the correct vehicle. On the web site I entered a 2011 Ford Fusion. They said it was a 2018 Highlander, which we do not own. I will never use safelite again.

      I should have read the reviews and perhaps it would have saved me from the horrific experience with this company. Had a small crack in my windshield about a 1/2 inch now it’s about 20 inches long. After the crack spread then the tech says oh “by the way this could have happen, I’m sorry I didn’t mention that, and gives me this disclosure. Went from a $157 repair to a $1200 replacement. The manager was very dismissive and could give 2 shits about the situation. I manage a hotel and would never treat my guest/customers in such a way. I would give a negative zero if possible. Avoid at all cost.

      A Safelite technician (*******) came to our house on 6/12/24. He did an outstanding job of replacing the windshield on our 2023 Equinox. The vehicle was spotless when he was done just like it was before he started. Our garage was clean just as it was before he started. He was a very nice, polite young man and we appreciate his attention to detail and friendly demeanor.
