      I would give this place ZERO stars if that was possible. The receptionist was a ****** ****** even to the service manager. I asked both the receptionist and manager for a corporate phone number to Safelite and they lied to me stating “I don’t have one”. I said “yes you do” and he pulled some invalid number out of his *** that of course didn’t work. I had gotten an email with a discount code for $150 off and they refused to honor it. Then I googled ’Safelite customer service phone number Columbus, Ohio’. Got a number, called and they were extremely helpful, giving me that discount. Needless to say, Customer Service at Safelite in Fargo sucks! They are rude, unprofessional, and nasty.

      What is the reason for your incompetence? This is the third time we were told to wait 4 hours for the tech, and you still do not have the correct molding to fix the windshield. Why? You had us wait on 3 different dates for 4 hours at a time only to call at the last few minutes to say “whoops, we still don’t have the correct molding, so you have to reschedule!”
      We received your email at 7:11am to let us know that we should expect a tech by 1:30pm today. I called at 12:54pm and spoke to Jamar who had no answer on why this appointment was already canceled. Then he had me call Westbury to speak with his supervisor, Wendy, she also had zero knowledge. Wendy claims to have called my husband but read off an incorrect phone number. When I questioned her on it, she insisted that she left a voicemail for my husband, but she read back the phone number ending in 6001 and his phone on the account is actually 6061. She refused to acknowledge that she was wrong. I asked for her manager. Then her district manager, Damaris, got on the phone screaming at me to calm down. I told her that it was her and her staff’s incompetence that continues to keep us from getting a simple windshield replaced. For God’s sake, your advertisement says “Safelite repairs, Safelite replace.”
      Bottom line is Safelite failed to do its job and now we will go the competition. I will never recommend Safelite to anyone ever again! Your staff needs training on courtesy and knowledge of appointments. How dare you have us sit at home waiting for a tech 3 times and cancel 3 times! You are the definition of INCOMPETENCE!

      My tech was a nice guy. Very small mayve dime size chip in windshield. I looked at the outside when he was done and it was good. The following day when I went to drive the car, the inside looks the same as if nothing was fixed! This is a brand new leased car. I paid out of pocket and will call them again to get a resolution.

      Safelite set an appt For installing a new windshield between 1 and 6 and sat.I sat there all day waiting Meanwhile I received emails with pic of tech so I would know who he was when he came..He didn't SHOW UP.NO.CALL.NO NOTHING

      I had a terrible experience here on June 6, 2024 where I dropped off my car at the appointed 3 o'clock. They told me would be 1.5 to 2 hours however it was not ready until way after hours and I could not reach them because the phone lines had already closed. I had to pick up my car the next day, which was incredibly inconvenient for me as I have small children. I called the manager and he did nothing to make it right. I am very disappointed and unfortunately would not recommend the service.

      ****** ****** Customer Advocate Durham,
      In our conversation Thursday May 9th, you suggested sending yet another Safelite employee to discuss the issue of the dangling electronic fixture after my windshield replacement. We scheduled Monday May 13th at 10:30am. You said that the garage manager, ****** would be coming. He was a no-show and I haven't heard from him or you since.
      I repeat...What I imagined happened is that when Derek (pleasant, respectful) replaced my windshield May 2nd, he may have forgotten to replace an electronic fixture back in its original place. Instead, he glued it to the inside of my new windshield above the mirror. Next day it was dangling. Even though I had said I don't ever recall seeing this device glued to my original windshield, he and other employees insisted that it was glued to the inside of my original windshield. ***** at Safelite schedules **** to resolve the issue of the dangling fixture. **** (nasty, disrespectful) comes on May 7th. He resolved the issue by pulling down the interior roof and stuffing the fixture and wire inside. He says "I'm a professional, I've worked for Safelite over 15 yrs!* ****** question to me, "What kind of work did you do before retirement?" still befuddles me. His attitude sent my blood pressure through the roof.
      At this point, I feel that Safelite should refund all or part of my $420 payment due to potential damage to my interior roof, AS WELL AS for the stressful, upsetting interactions and poor, unprofessional service by your employees. You asked to set up a 4th Safelite appointment?! Each scheduled appt. has been between 1pm-6pm?!

      BEWARE! Had our windshield replaced from an impact crack in January 2024, paid the insurance deductible, we have a 2019 Audi Q5. Two months later, a stress crack developed, Safelite replaced it as under warranty. Two months later, another crack. Started to as some questions. Found out they use thinner glass for Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. They also use aftermarket glass. Confirmed they used aftermarket glass in January, March and were scheduled to use it again today. In my research I found that a windshield should last 8-10 years. At Safelite they shrug their shoulders, say I must have bad luck.

      Not an upstanding business. I scheduled a windshield repair for my f150. It was priced at $499 plus tax, so I paid in full up front. Along the way they notified me that my ADAS system would need recalibrated if it had that safety system. Which I knew it did, and I am fully capable of recalibrating it myself, as I am a life long mechanic. But within the paperwork, and even on their website it never states that they "must" do the recalibration for a small fee of $416. It clearly states that recalibration would be required after the repair. So that would mean that I can do it myself or get it done anywhere I choose. But upon the technicians arrival, he notifies me that I have the ADAS, which again I already knew, and that it would need recalibrated which again I already knew. But then he tells me its $416 and that he cant do the windshield replacement unless I commit, and pay for the recalibration. I said no way, its a 10-15 minute process that I can do myself. So he forwards me to the boss. She was nice, but she stated that it was corporate policy, I said well that isint what your site says. And I quoted the site, and she also agreed that it was a 10 minute process and that $416 was ridiculous for this service. She ended up doing the recalibration for free, and said she would forward my concerns to corporate. I feel this is unethical business practice at best, if not illegal to mandate a service that I can complete myself, or pay dealer to do it for a fraction of the cost. I also find it in bad taste to spring this on the customer after the technician has arrived, and I have already paid for the glass replacement to be done. All of the employees I spoke to said it was policy, but no one could ever show me the policy in writing. I think everyone should be aware of Safelites fraudulent business practices. And at this point I am contemplating contacting the ohio state attorney generals office.

      ***** ************* I contested 2 windshield wipers that were charged. I didn’t need them, I was told by a tech guy that it would take 10 business days for a refund. Followed it up for 2 days! No response. Pls. Help! the sum is$69.98. One star is generous. Not responding is a thumbs down.

      If I could give a minus rating I would! This is a horrible company who doesn’t care about their customers or their Employees!!! They are all about quantity not quality! The techs that care get into trouble but the ones who mess up customers cars get rewarded. They have so many warranties from putting in wrong class to cutting customer’s dashboards! They bully their employees and they allow sexual harassment to go on without any consequences! When you go to HR about it you get written up, and they retaliate against you and take your hours from you ! If you work over your 40 hours they will fix your hours so it looks like you didn’t which is illegal!!!! Horrible Horrible company someone needs to look into them and see what’s going on I’m more then sure they’re doing shady things!!
