This business is a complete joke. My “repair” failed within 3 hours of leaving their shop. A small chip turned into a completely cracked windshield. They canceled my first appointment the day of. Then i was rescheduled. Then they showed up with the wrong windshield. The tech said he would call me when he got back to the shop. No call. Was automatically rescheduled for the next day. No one showed. This company is so inept it’s amazing they get any business at all.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

My windshield leaks bad called to have…
My windshield leaks bad called to have it repaired was told nobody can come out at least 3 months. I have to take it to a shop. My car broke down and it cannot be moved for awhile. Did not matter. Rep. hung up on me and I was not rude just question her about policy.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I would give negative stars if I could. They do shoddy work and do not care. I had my windshield replaced a year ago by this location of Safelite only to find they put the wrong size windshield in AND improperly installed it. This caused a leak which could not be seen until a year later when almost $7000 of damage was done to my 2022 Tacoma. It had to be taken all the way down to the metal and I had to pay for Servpro to come out because of all the mold and mildew I had been breathing for a year. I gave ***** the chance to make this right he wanted to replace the windshield I told him no you already proved unable to do that job. He sat in my truck and said “I don’t smell anything we can have it detailed and the carpets dried.” Well ***** I’m sure you’d be perfectly ok with a family member breathing mold spores but I’m not. I ended up having to file a comprehensive claim against Safelite to have the work done right. Now I have mold and mildew on my car fax.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

An employee named ****** (unsure of the last name because she refused to say spell it) from this business called me to clarify about what I needed fixed on my car and this is the 3rd or 4th time somebody has called me about this confusion they seem to be having. When I told ****** this, she ignored me completely and went on to repeat the same thing she had just said and was unable to answer why they were having so much trouble figuring out what I needed. ****** then said she would delete my order because she didnt feel like dealing with my attitude. She hung the phone up on me and then proceeded to do this multiple times after I kept calling to speak with someone else at the store/company. Never been treated with such disrespect by a customer service employee in my life.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I had my windshield replaced in March of 2023, when doing the work the technician cracked my dash and damaged my windshield wiper hose. I done everything they asked me to but when they told me I had to pay for the repairs out of pocket and they would reimburse me I told them no. I have went to the office, called the office and the manager on his personal cell, I even called corporate, I email them atleast once a week and no one is trying to help me. I'm a single mom of 4, no help from dad. I can't afford what it will cost to have it fixed.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I had my windshield replaced on 2023 VW, because of crack. After windshield was replaced, they could not do calibration and the sensor for the lights and wipers no longer work. the guy in the front office tells me to take it to the dealer, dealer finds that they cannot do calibration, the windshield is not the right type and when they installed it, they damaged the rain / light sensor. I called **** at this safelite location and he tells me the stuff was already broken. Its a brand new car with 18K on it, nothing was wrong with it until I had them change the windshield.
I now have to pay $900.00 to have sensor replaced and the windshield will need to be replaced again, but this time using the correct glass.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

On February 20th 2024 I had my Buick envision in to have my windshield replaced by your valley view Ohio location and I'm very very disappointed with the work everything was fine right up until after they had the windshield put in my front collision warning kept coming on so I took it back they recalibrated it and it was good for about a few hours and then it came back on again so I took it back again they told me that they can't recalibrate it again that they're calibration department told me to go to the Buick dealer I was like what go to the Buick dealer they said they can't do anything so I went to the Buick dealer and the Buick dealer told me that the windshield was not put in correctly that that the angle for the camera was off and that's why the warning kept coming on so they tried to recalibrate it took them six times before they finally got it to calibrate but again it only lasted for a few hours so the Buick dealer did tell me that the only way you're going to fix that is replace the windshield so I replaced it because Safelite would do nothing for me all they kept saying was we recalibrated and didn't have any problem with it they did have a problem with it it was me I am not letting this go so I had the Buick dealer put another windshield in for $840 and they calibrated one time and it's working ever since very disappointed with Safelite here's a company that does 3 billion a year and they're giving me a hassle over $800 windshield that they should have replaced in the first place extremely unhappySafelite Auto Glass, Inc.

so far my experience has been horrible (Tuscaloosa, AL location) ! Every employee seems to give different info. If you don’t know the answer to a question, simply say you do not know instead of giving out false info. A rock hit my driver window over the weekend & shattered it so I called to schedule with Satellite. That was my first mistake. They didn’t have any Monday appts which was fine. I had to call in to work so they could come to my house & repair it yesterday which was Tuesday since it wasn’t safe to drive. Due to me having tint, there was no loose glass whatsoever because it was pretty much holding it in tact. The tech I had was LaGerald & after working on it for hours he called me outside to tell me that had bad news. Keep in mind at this point, he has the new window installed but he said when he was removing the previous window loose glass fell down into the regulator so when he installed the new one & rolled it up it damaged the regulator so it would need to be replaced and that’s not something they do. Now I’m know I’m a woman but it sounded like to me that this was his fault. If he cleaned out the shaft properly before installing the new one, there's no way this would have happened. But now they want me to find this part & spend another couple hundred dollars because their tech tried to do a rushed job. Also, the rep told me on the phone when scheduling that they would replace my tint. I asked the tech about that when he got here & he said that was incorrect. Now that means I’m going to be out of even more money & time! Never ever will I make the mistake of using this company again or referring anyone to them.
Above was my original Google review. It gets even worse. As I'm taking my newborn to daycare this morning, the crash wrap came off! I've called several times today and all the "managers" I speak to say they're going to call me right back. It's now hours later and I've heard nothing.
