      Lazy workers, cant keep scheduled appointments,also no back up vehicles for techs? Really? If you ask me to reach oit safelite i will not because i have had it with your business. Ive been given excuses for 2 weeks of rescheduling or some bs reason. I do not trust you to do a proper job.the customer care does not care about us. Either send someone or close shop.

      This is a fraud and scam company. You cannot reach them by phone, they intentionally avoid to accept your phone call. I am waiting on a refund since December of 2023 and no resolution yet. I had my car windshield chip repaired in October 2023 and it got worst, so in December we ending up replaced the windshield with Safelite and should have got refund for chip repaired because they claimed their work got warranty and now waiting for past 3 months. I called at least 40 -50 times and all I am getting run around from multiple so called customer care representatives. Store says they process the refund and back office should send the refund and that's is since December 18, 2023. They are thieves. I am trying to file a report with FTC. They misleading consumers and completely a dishonest company.

      Think TWICE before calling them. I have windshield with half the upper gasket (Jeep) hanging down 3-4" with black goop all over the gasket and the glass. FYI, they said they didn't carry the OEM style gasket for my Jeep and that they used a generic style gasket. Oddly enough I go online and there any number of companies offering just such a gasket. Goop on both driver and passenger side footsteps. Called to see about getting it made right and was rudely told "there's nothing else we can do for you." After reading some of these reviews it appears I'm far from alone in my experience. This is going to cost me even more to get right and I have to deal with the ongoing mess daily. Never again.

      I got a new windshield installed on 2/15 and the lady ringing me up had no idea what she was doing. A week later I look at my credit card statement and they charged me twice for the windshield. Of course I can't find a phone# to call them directly so I have to go in person to deal with this. Long story short, it's now 3/8 and they still haven't credited back the $329 overcharge. This was at the **** * ****** **** ******* ** ***** ********* ********** *********

      We had a huge crack in our windshield made the appointment Feb 28th 2024. Edger came out to fix the windshield. When he was done we had black jack on our interior pillar, our washer fluid sprayer on the one side was now broken, when we drove it after 2 days it sounded like Velcro coming off the windshield. Then we got a hold of Safelite March 1st 2024 to tell them what was wrong with it. They were sending edger back out he called in sick after his other 2 jobs and never heard nothing till we called again Monday March 4th only to be told that we'd be hearing from someone in 1-2 days. Thursday March 7th came round we called back again and got the one manager Wendy and she's got to call us back again when that's going to be. I've asked for my money back from PayPal I just want my money back my windshield fixed right and the rest of my car parts that weren't broken before edger messed with it.nim waiting to hear from paypal

      Can’t get in touch with them. Called them 50 times over a week and never answered. Said they couldn’t recalibrate because of rain. It was 60 and sunny! Horrible service. Safelite should not let this hack shop use their name.

      All of the safety features that were on my car have stopped working. My car has braked twice thinking something was there when I was free from obstruction (I have it on my dash cam and I will not share it with you). The Lane departure assist no longer works. They destroyed my car! To add, I make appointments for no reason because, all of the windshields that come in are scratched and they reschedule often. (Over five or six reschedules if you count both visits) Now I’m waiting for them to install a new windshield for the second time, to see if that somehow resolves the fact that none of the original safety features are working on the new (I’m first owner) 2022 vehicle as they should, which was not the case before the vehicle went to their shop. Manufacturer is telling me they won’t deal with it because Safelite messed it up. Looks like I’m in this for the long-haul so avoid this place like the plague if you can. Don’t let Geico or whatever insurance you have convince you that you need to use this place. I should’ve gone with my gut and went someone else.

      So someone broke my window durin New Year weekend. The 1st time they got the wrong window, the second time they got the wrong window the 3rd time they said the window is damaged. I’ve been waiting three months on a 2023 equinox car for a window this not fair to me paying 6hundred on a car a month and those three months my car doesn’t haven’t a window I’m really angry, mad and annoyed I need help?

      This place had the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. They bait and switched us with the windshield, did not tell us when they swapped our windshield for a more expensive one.
      Prior to the service we checked many times if the car would need recalibrating and we were assured of the cost being correct on the quote. The store was unable to fix the car in the day they had it and sent us home with an unsafe car. We were not notified about any changes in price until we were home hours later and received a new bill via email for 800 dollars more than we had been quoted.
      We talked with the employees at the store and they were very rude, talking over us, interrupting us and over all not listening to our concerns.
      We ended up telling the store we would not be bringing our car back to them to calibrate as we no longer trusted them to do proper work on our car. the woman we spoke to said she would still charge us for the calibration even though the service was not completed. My husband had to go again to talk with her and she relented after hours of us trying to get this fraudulent charge removed from our bill.
      We took the car to the dealership after all of this to have it calibrated and it turns out that safelight did not properly install the glass windshield, it was crooked and would need to be totally replaced. When the dealership showed us we could see that it was not properly aligned and the rear view mirror was attached wrong.
      the company as a whole has a policy they will not do refunds only credits towards the next repair and after being talked down to, talked over, treated as if we were idiots, fraudulent charges, and poor workmanship we did not feel comfortable ever going to that shop again.
      Long story shot...... we ended up having to pay for two windshields and calibration and I had to take my husband to work for 3 days as he was without a car.
      I would absolutely leave zero stars if I could, this was theft.

      Unsatisfactory, Inadequate service. I've had my windshield replaced four times with safelite and this is the first issue I've had. I believe it's all to due to the location of this service. In the past, and as of recently, two years ago to be more specific, Safelite always replaced the windshield and did a replacement inspection sticker. Today, this Pierce street location did not. I got a souvenir of the inspection sticker still stuck to the old piece of glass and was told to go back to the same mechanic that did my inspection. I was told by the same rep that it was going to cost me. When I questioned why because it was never done like that before, the rep had no clue. I got " I dont know". And then the akward silence because if the misinformed lady. She was wrong about the cost . It will actually be the cost of the replacement sticker along with a full day of wages. I also work full-time, and have longer business hours than safelite and most other businesses. I'm sure they don't think about those things or even care. The techs at this location were slightly reluctant to provide an invoice of my service that was completed today. They are not the ones going to have even more of thier time wasted when they get pulled over for not having that sticker on their windshield. Sorry but I'd like to have documentation just-in-case. Thanks alot for more frustration than I had before I needed the service. I will NEVER elect this location again, and I will be sure to let EVERYONE I know to do the same and avoid it at all costs!
