Safelite Yuma AZ windshield replacement on 11/25/2023. Installed defective wiper blades which they almost insisted we add to "protect" our new windshield. No need to use the blades til mid January in the desert when it finally rained. Wipers shattered into rubber strips with metal against our new windshield. Have gotten the run around since then from C/S, from the dealer now for 6 weeks. Seems the credit due is will never happen. Very poor business practice. Obviously, we bought and replaced our own blades with a well known brand - much cheaper by the way! Absolutely disgusting.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

They sent an inexperienced technician for the nick on my windshield from a pepple on the highway. The nick is right at the sight line and now we see the “fix”, especially when it rains. When I complained they sent a manager who said the technician was incompetent but there was nothing they could do to rectify the problem.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I have a printed confirmation of my appointment and they never showed up and then tried saying I didn't finish making my appointment! Don't do business with them! And when they do screw up there isn't any phone numbers to call! Instead I've waisted hours trying to email text instant messaging and all other forms of communication EXCEPT for actually being a company that has actual workers to answer the phones!Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

My windshield had a long crack, so I made a claim through Progressive. They had me make an appointment to replace it, which I made to come to my home. I was given a day and time frame, so I borrowed a car so I could get to work and left my keys at home with my husband. Halfway through the scheduled time slot, I received an email saying that my appointment had been rescheduled. There was no reason given, and I received no call or text with an explanation. I tried calling to ask, but was told there was no answer from the shop and that the person would leave a message and have them call me back. I rearranged my work schedule so I could make the next appointment. I checked my email on the day of my appointment to find that it had been rescheduled again. No call, no text, no reason. I called to see what was going on again and was told that no reason was left on file. I had my roommate actually bring the car to the shop so I could make it to work on the newest appointment day. She asked for an explanation and was told that i had only been rescheduled once and that I had received an email the night before my second rescheduling. The employee clearly did not care to provide a more satisfactory answer. This whole process has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. The only compensation I've received has been a $12 on a $450 order, which I find almost insulting. If I ever get a different choice, I will be choosing a different auto glass repair shop, because this is unacceptable. An email does not constitute a satisfactory attempt to contact people; if a rescheduling is required, the business must make a better effort to contact its customers. If I find that the work provided has been as bad as the rest of this interaction, I will be going through Progressive to request a full refund. Please do better.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

July 2023 took vehicle into the johnstown pa location and got the wrong glass put in for a windshield that was starting to spider really bad . wasnt correct glass had to get oem glass for audi s7. they installed that did not calibrate . took to dealership to figure out why it was not calibrating and turns out no camera found on start up . they were the last to have vehicle . because the camera is tied into EVERY safety feature the insurance company will not insure it causing a total loss. now this isnt a run of the mill car its a luxury vehicle full loaded cept sound system ( as we know these are not stock features and is extremely hard to find) been without vehicle since july and they kept figuring out ways to not claim liability even though BOTH the director of appraisers and the Dealership autoshop manager both said it was safelite. now they are going back on what was said for damages plus appraised value of vehicle and outright lied MULTIPLE times. SHADY company if i could -100 i would still no resolution going to have to find a lawyer and looking from these reviews its terrible .Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I wish I could give this company a 0 stars, worst customer service ever in person and over the phone. I had a minimal windshield crack, they send one of their reps to fix it. His name was Merhawi, the guy wasn’t not professional at all. He did a ****** job, he made the damage way worse than what it was. He kept saying that someone else already tried to fix the windshield which was not true. I called their customer service they took for ever to transfer my call to a manager and at the end the manager didn’t even answer my call.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Beyond terrible experience with them! Took a week to get an appointment, the 6th day they call and say they don’t have my windshield and make me wait 10 days for it to come in! On the 10th day they wanted to cancel my appointment because of weather! I find a location with coverage for them to come out only for them to come tell me they didn’t have the molding for the glass! It’s no option on the website for me to ever choose if I needed it! They push me back ANOTHER 10 DAYS TO YET AGAIN CALL ME AT MY APPOINTMENT TIME SAYING THEY DONT HAVE THE MOLDING! The brought the wrong glass and broke my windshield even more. I have been driving around for multiple weeks with multiple foot long cracks as a result. They are blaming the insurance company for the wrong car description on the work order but their scheduling system doesn’t list my car model as an option. They won’t do anything to get me the right glass until the insurance company corrects the car description in the work order but that can’t be accomplished because their system doesn’t list my car model. I just get the run around every time I get someone from Safelite on the phone. I have never been so frustrated by such poor customer service.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Just got my cracked windshield replaced by the Safelite in Apex, NC. I made the reservation online after obtaining a quote online as well. I showed up to drop off the car, told her I had a 1 PM appointment and had booked everything online. She looked up something on the computer, asked for my credit card, ran it through and said come back in 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I did, picked up the car, was not offered a receipt, but was told it would be emailed to me. I got home, reviewed the receipt that evening, and discovered that the price I was charged was NOT what was shown on the quote. Fortunately, I had printed a copy of the quote when I generated the order. I compared it to their receipt and discovered that the $45 discount code applied to the online quote was missing from the job receipt. I took my copy of the quote to the Safelite location and told them they had not charged me what they quoted me, and explained what the difference was. The woman at the customer service desk was the same one I dealt with the day before. She was very smug, not at all friendly, and offered no explanation, as to what created the error, and no apology of any kind for what was a significant mistake. She simply said they would have to reverse the incorrect charge and submit a new charge with the $45 discount code applied. I asked if I would get any kind of documentation indicating this correction, and she said I would see the reversal and the new charge on my credit card after several days. Bottom line, this whole incident is VERY poor customer service, first, because the mistake was made to begin with, and second, because this customer interface showed no concern whatsoever that the mistake had been made. With issues like this on the front end of a service or product purchase, I would not be surprised if I have issues on the backend, should I need to address a warranty issue. I will not recommend Safelite, or at least not this location, to anyone.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.
