      Was told 3 times by safelite call center that I had OEM glass approved by my insurance. On the day of my appointment I received a call from Andresn in *********, ** who stated I was not approved for it. After home office looking into it. Was advised safelite made a mistake 3 times and they would coach the agents. No offer for a discount or paid glass. Only a "nothing I can do" from ******* at home office. DO NOT do business with Safelite.

      We requested a certain windshield and when came out had an aftermarket windshield. The quote was given then later extra $90 was add which was taxes and recycle fee. That should have been given at the time of the quote. I declined the windshield because its not what we ordered and will give my business to a more ethical one. From this day forward I am done with satellite.

      Safelite Glass repair ********* Yesterday, the passenger side front glass exploded out of the window. I immediately called my insurance company, who guided me to Safelite. My deductible is $495.00, and the price Safelite showed without taxes, was $388.80.Surprise! There is a $39.99 recycling fee for the glass. We have already cleaned up 80% of the glass at least. I am sure there is some stuck on the door panel, but it can not be much.When I asked the technician, **** (who is a really nice guy and great tech), he said it was a fee negotiated with the insurance company. If I wanted to do it without the insurance negotiated price, it would be more. I went online to Safelite, put all my info in, and it came up the same price. Including the recycling fee. No negotiated discount.I then called ****, the McAllen Safelite manager. He told me the same thing **** told me.**** was just repeating what he had been told. I shared that was incorrect info as I had done my homework and knew what the price was. He did not say one word.I asked him to remove the recycling fee as there was not anything to recycle. He then said that it was for vacuuming the glass out between the door panels.This is a deceptive practice. First, I am told it is a negotiated price, then I find out that is not true. I am also going to send this information to the better business bureau. I understand a recycling fee if there is something to recycle.I am going to share this review as many places as I can. I was charged for a service I did not receive.

      I am writing to express my concerns regarding our recent experiences with the Safelite location in ************, **. We encountered several issues during our appointments. The first appointment was delayed by several hours, and upon the technician's arrival, we were informed that our windshield needed to be replaced. An appointment was scheduled for Saturday, April 5th, where Waldyn arrived. However, instead of starting the service, he demanded payment upfront, which we later learned is not consistent with Safelite's corporate policy.Additionally, ******'s picture was not included in the correspondence, making us uneasy about proceeding with payment. We later discovered that he is a "road tech" and does not have direct ties to the ************ location, which further complicated our situation.There are several key concerns I wish to highlight:1. Waldyn described my husband as hostile when he expressed valid concerns about the payment policy.2. Ms. ******** instructed Waldyn not to complete the service even if ***** went to the shop as directed.3. We received the payment policy only after our interaction, which contradicts the corporate ********* is unacceptable to misrepresent individuals based on a misunderstanding of your policies.

      Iam on my 5th visit to get my front windshield replacement. They have canceled 2 times and they have brought the wrong windshield 2 times. Trying to get intouch with them is no easy task.

      My appointment was canceled on me 3 times now with zero notification. Every time I called to get a status they could not reach anybody and the only thing they could offer was to reschedule. It's been two weeks and nobody shows up when they say they're coming. This "service" is a joke and I will never schedule appointment with them again.

      here's the facts. Needed to replace front windshield. First appointment 1/9. Today is 4/2. 84 days. Job incomplete with no plan to complete. Many changes, visits to shop on ********** **., more than *********************************************************************************************************************************** after trying unsuccessfully to speak to a human, 2nd glass in place (warranty 2/25) with no clue when my job will be finished. Automated text messages telling me of a warranty appointment which if I didnt spend 30 minutes on the phone to reach manager RS to tell me 'dont come to that appointment, we just do that to keep the process moving' , I would have wasted another missed work day and showed up for a fake appointment. Parts needed from Acura (side molding 73162-TL2-305ZD and 73162-TL2-305ZM -NH789M Forged Silver Metallic). First Safelite tech damaged 1) original replacement windshield, 2) both side moldings, # above 3) 04635-TL4-G01ZZ - passenger/right aperture panel which requires either replacement or paintless dent removal, 4) the chemical used that caused damage to 1st glass is still present - which leaves a streak directly in driver's sight. 5) I've replaced wipers (they need to be cleaned or replaced because they're affected by chemical).It's times like this which demonstrate what a company / employee / manager is . This mess can be cleaned up quickly, or not. I want to know who your boss is and how I reach them. What has been done so far is unsatisfactory and being ignored is unacceptable.

      I recently had a rock chip repaired by Safelite *********, expecting a professional job that would prevent further damage. Unfortunately, the repair was poorly doneleaving a large, foggy, yellow blemish. When I contacted Safelite to address the issue, I was surprised to learn that they wanted to charge me to fix their subpar work.A reputable company should stand behind its services, especially when the issue stems from an inadequate initial repair. Instead, I was met with dismissive customer service and no reasonable resolution. I trusted Safelite based on them being a preferred provider of my insurance company and supposed guarantee of work based on such relationship. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing.I would caution others to be aware that if your repair isnt done correctly the first time, you may be forced to pay to get it right. A company that values its customers should prioritize quality workmanship and fair resolutionsnot just charging for additional work caused by subpar performance or offering inequitable resolutions.

      On month #5 of attempting to get Safelite to repair damage done during original window replacement. Original tech removed trim that did not need removed. Had multiple tech visits to house as well as multiple scheduled visits to ********** facility to reinstall/secure. Window trim is currently flapping in the wind. Each repair met with same comments last person didnt use the right adhesive. Inside door panel now coming apart as well as tech broke door clips reinstalling. **************** has been below average at best. Safelite unwilling to let dealer fix and pay the repair bill despite their multiple attempts to fix to no avail. Pretty reasonable customer here but after the 6th tech visit you would think we could move forward or try something different to get fixed correctly. ***** customer service number not available on Saturdays and Sundays is super inconvenient. I would not recommend Safelite to any friends or family. Would be great if someone at corporate would reach out to discuss. Escalation with customer service has been pointless.

      Easily the worst auto-service experience I have ever had. I set up an appointment for a drop-and-go appointment and dropped my car off at 7:06am (prior to the required 9:30am drop off by-when) using the key box and texting the phone number that was written on the box. I attempted contacting the office several times throughout the day via text message, phone calls with the office, and phone calls with Safelite's ************* line. I was unable to get a hold of anyone to determine the status of my vehicle. Eventually, at 4:33pm I received text message communication that my vehicle "should" be ready at 5:30pm. The email confirmation for the service stated it would be ready by end of day (around 4pm-5pm). The office closes at 5pm. When I arrived at Safelite, the desk staff did not express any concern or apologize for the delay in service and communication. My vehicle was ready for pickup shortly after 5:30pm and appeared to be in working order. The technician did not inspect the vehicle with me. I cannot express enough that this was an incredibly distressing and dissatisfying experience. I will not be returning to this location for any future services.
