Safelite thonotossa fl- went in for back power window repair on passenger side of the vehicle when receiving my vehicle back they switched the good regulator from the front window and placed on the back window as if they had repaired the window with a new regulator. Now due to the swap I am out of money I paid for the original service and now having to pay again someone to now repair the front passenger window regulator as this window was done upon drop off of the vehicle and now it has dropped completely into the door frame. If they did not have a part to repair the back window they should of indicated that instead lying that they had the part when they never did. They did a switch a room using my front window regulator. I recently had my windshield replaced in the Memphis, TN area however, I am absolutely NOT satisfied with my experience. It has also recently been brought to my attention from another body shop that my windshield camera has been damaged and the calibration has been over ridden which bypassed the malfunction notification. I did go to the location whom replaced my windshield and they told me, "there is nothing we can do for you". I have the email from the body shop that specifically ask if my windshield had been replaced by Safelite because this has been a problem with customers in the past. This sensor specifically out of pockets cost $1200, I do not feel responsible for this damage as it is noted and documented whom replaced my windshield and whom should be help responsible. I also contact the location that replaced my windshield asking for a cooperate number, they stated they did not have a cooperate number for me to contact. I will never use this company again unless my issue can be resolved.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Pulled a bait and switch on me...I paid extra for "lifetime" wipers when I had my windshield replaced and my first time going for new wipers I was told the policy changed and this would be the only "free" set I would be getting...they won't be getting anymore of my moneySafelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Safelite auto glass came out to repair a 1 inch crack in our windshield when the service tech was done the whole windshield was cracked. He specifically called the office. They told us that we had to buy a new windshield which was $800. My opinion on Safelite is if you work on something and you break it you should repair it. Apparently they wanted to charge me for it even though their tech made the crack much larger. Which, by the way, I called another service and the price was only $275 versus $800 that Safelite wanted to charge me my opinion on Safelite is they don’t stand by their work.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

So not use Saginaw location.
Replaced windshield and it is leaking. Improper install. When I went in for warranty they say that can't do anything thing about it. $1000 later in electrical damage and had to have windshield installed properly some where else. I will say I have used Midland location twice before and flawless.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Run from this company. They are the worst in Chattanooga. No show, No call on appointment day. Call the office and the manager never returns your call. How these people stay in business is mind boggling. I’ve had businesses in home construction for over 40 years and would never treat any of my customers the way these people do. Find another company. They have terrible reviews for a reason, they are a terrible company…Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

If I could give negative stars I would. I have emailed Safelite customer care SEVERAL times with no response. A safelite technician installed a windshield on my Volvo on 7/25 at my workplace. He sat outside with my car idling for 3.5 hrs in 100 plus degree heat with the AC blasting on Max (I know this because I watched him and my AC was on max when I got back in my car at the end of the day and I had no gas left). He did not recalibrate my car after installing the windshield so I had complete electronic system failure driving down the highway; lost power steering, ABS, no blinkers/hazards, COMPLETELY unsafe vehicle. Not to mention my car began leaking coolant due to a ruptured coolant pipe (confirmed by Volvo). I stop at a gas station to fill up since the tech emptied my gas tank and my car would not shut off nor would it go back into Drive. I had to have roadside assistance tow my vehicle back to Safelite's shop. It sat all night and all day the following day with lights on and Safelite told me they could not recalibrate my car and it had to be transferred to Volvo....even though they have a "Safelite recalibration guarantee". Volvo had to work on my vehicle and discovered the technician had unplugged something behind my rearview mirror and that was the fix to get it recalibrated. However, my battery was completely dead ($600 fix) and the coolant hose that ruptured ($1268 fix) plus the labor Volvo had in my vehicle trying to figure out why it wouldn't recalibrate. All of this on top of the fact that I've now been without a vehicle for a week and I'm due with a baby any day now. All emails I have sent to customer care at Safelite have gone unanswered, when I put in my phone number for the automated calls I am immediately disconnected as if my phone number is blocked. NO ONE has reached out to me regarding the multiple times I have complained about this entire ordeal.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

1 starMy mom had a new windshield installed on 06/29/23, due to a crack on the windshield. On Saturday 07/22/23 my mom noticed a crack on the new windshield. My mom has 2 vehicles and doesn’t use this vehicle too often.
I made an appointment for her on 07/27/2023 to get the windshield repaired thinking it would be covered with the warranty. She was told that a small rock hit the windshield and it’s considered a new damage so it wouldn’t be covered.
We are really upset because this replacement took place less than a month ago and now the new windshield is cracked. If a “rock” did hit it like the technician said what kind of cheap windshield cracks right away especially a brand new windshield, less than 30 days. My mom states she doesn’t remember anything hitting her windshield and around the crack there isn’t any noticeable damage.
I tried taking pictures of the “rock damage” that the tech said but it’s so small not even the camera captures it if it really is “rock damage”. I wish I could post pictures on here because the crack looks nothing like a rock incident, because the crack is less than 30 days this should be considered a material defect and be covered by warranty. I have emailed customer service but no response so far. I feel bad for recommending this company to my mother, what a waste of $300

Rock chip repair equals windshield needs replaced.
I had a rock chip that needed sealed. I scheduled through Safelite (easy enough) and they came out about a week after the chip first showed. The chip was a standard rock chip that had a small crack on both sides (smaller than a quarter including the crack). So that’s the background. Come the day of the appointment I get a call from Andrew that he is on the way. When I tell you that this man was speaking like an auctioneer I am not exaggerating. I had to have him repeat himself just to understand what he was trying to say but it was very obvious that he was in a hurry. The conversation was him confirming that he is on the way and asking me if the car is in the garage to which I responded yes. He said “good” and the conversation ended. I had no idea that my wife was going to try and be considerate and leave the car outside for him in 90 degree weather or that the heat was such a problem for the repair.
When he arrived at the appointment in a hurry and angry that the car was outside the time was 1:33pm. When the windshield was cracked the time was 1:43pm. He told me on the phone after that the windshield now needed replaced and we would need to pay for it. When I asked why he didn’t just reschedule the appointment since the car was left outside (our bad I know) he stated that he let the car cool to the right temperature. In less than 10 minutes?! He tells me that I can voice my complaint to the lady who will call to schedule the windshield replacement. It has now been weeks without a car and when I reach out they tell me I don’t have an account with them. I click on the link they texted me after the failed service and again no account?! So now I am posting the images of the technician and the work vehicle outside. I hope they will make this right.
Please do yourself a favor and call someone else. Anyone else who actually cares about their customers and stands by their work.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

On May 18th my windshield was replaced. It was all fine for approximately 2 months. Then I noticed what I thought to be a stress crack in the windshield. I brought it back and it was looked at and I was told it would be replaced. No problem ok.. things happen. A few days later I noticed another crack. Then as I turned the windshield wipers on I noticed he glass humped up slightly as the wipers worked at the point where the cracks began. I went home took off the cowl for the wipers, and too my amazement and total disbelief I saw that the wipers transmission bracket was broken and had been "rigged" with zip ties, which did not hold and broke. It's unbelievable that a company of this status would allow such shotty work to occur. I called the store and I was "Told" I needed to bring it in to have it looked at. As if I were in the wrong. No apologies, and really accusations that it must have been something I did. No offer to come out to look at it. The onus was put on me. Needless to say if something would have occurred while I was driving you would have had much more than this complaint to worry about. I brought it in and it was looked at by the manager they agreed it was "rigged" and even found a Ford windshield clip used in the zip ties to hold the "rigged" wiper transmission together. They ordered a new part.. but seemed more concerned as to who did it then my issue. So I was told the following Wednesday it would be fixed. (It's Thursday) ... And someone would contact me if something changed. That Friday to my disbelief I got a text that my service was scheduled for the next day at 10 am ... Wow ... So again I'm supposed to drop everything for their convenience. Long story short. No one Ever apologized. This NEVER should have occurred. ... It took another day of me having to reschedule and miss work for something that you should have fixed the first time.... Unbelievable!?!Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.
