      After weeks of safelite canceling and no show I had to give up on getting a windshield replaced by them. Starting over looking for a reliable company. Horrible experience, bad customer service.

      I originally paid in full to get my entire front windshield to be replaced. A month after it was fixed, a crack just appeared on the new glass and quickly spread the entire width of my windshield. I called Satellite to use their Warranty, and the person (Raul) who looked at my car got really close to the windshield, pointed at one spot in particular, and said "that is impact damage". He did not take any pictures to document the damage, and was quite standoffish. I will NEVER use them ever again.

      This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. In the beginning of January, I had my windshield replaced on my 2017 Honda Civic. The windshield they replaced it with did not calibrate correctly, and I was told that they would order a new windshield and replace and recalibrate my windshield right away. The following week, I dropped my car off for the entire day for them to replace my windshield, only for them to not replace it and say that they didn't actually have the correct windshield in stock. This happened 3 more times. They had promised at this time "a couple hundred dollars off of the total" due to the inconveniences caused thus far. I then, over a period of a month attempted to call the technician who worked on my vehicle over 30 times for him to not answer, and his voicemail box was full. In March, I went to the store in person and asked what the delay was, and they said that it was still on order. I asked if I could go somewhere else, or if there was another location with my windshield in stock, as I have one of the most common cars in the state. They only gave me the option of waiting. I was trapped with their defective windshield on my car, no safety features, no cruise control, nothing. After being able to contacting the assistant manager, two weeks later they had my windshield, and it was replaced two weeks later. They then only gave me 100 dollars off the total. 1,025 dollars to have dropped my car off for multiple days, and waiting 4 months due to their severe incompetence. Do not go to this location. I contacted safelite customer service and they have not contacted me back at all.

      If you have a problem expect to waste days on the phone -- a half day just trying to get a number that doesn't answer "we are not accepting calls at this time." (3 times, 3 different numbers) So far I am on call number 8. First rep who actually spoke to me was helpful sounding but we got cut off and she never called back although she assured she would if the call was interrupted. Second guy told me he couldn't help but would have his manager call. That never happened. Third woman said "It's not a Safelite issue, call your insurance company." I hung up on her. Fourth rep, I had to hang up because of echo on line. Fifth call was interrupted on my end. Customer service -- zero stars from my perspective. Frankly, technology has made that the way of the world these days, IMO.
      And that is not even getting into the fact that they installed a window that disrupted electrical systems because it was after market even though I was assured at installation that it would work.

      I think the two that did mine ****** and his co-worker from Greenville NC did an awesome job on my windshield. I watch the process because I wanted to see how it was done. They were friendly and answered my questions. I was amazed at how long it took them only 30 minutes. I was a pleased customer. Hats off to them. Thanks ******. ****** *****

      This company deserves ZERO stars! My daughter needed a small chip repaired on her windshield only to leave with a long crack across her windshield. Of course they tell her the same thing I see they’re telling/doing to everyone else, not fixing the problem they caused and scamming people to replace the whole windshield. This company lacks integrity and morals and should be put out of business. She received this rip-off service in Hoover, AL so anyone located close by and is thinking of receiving service your are WARNED!!! DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT give this company your business.

      Listen to the other 1 star reviews and DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!
      Wednesday, April 5: I request an appointment for the 12th.
      Wednesday, April 12: Safelite delivers the wrong part and reschedules me for the 19th.
      Wednesday, April 19: Safelite delivers the wrong part again and reschedules for the 27th.
      Wednesday, April 24: Safelite, without warning, cancels my appointment. I call the office directly and I'm told that they canceled because they still have to order the part and it will take an additional 10 days until they can schedule a new appointment.
      Given the lack of communication, poor customer service, and their difficulties in sourcing the correct parts, I'm never using this company again. Additionally, I'm contacting my local GEICO representative in order to see if they can be removed from the default option as a repair service.

      This has been a nightmare since day one. I took my car the first time to get a windshield replaced. They made the appointment and went in. They came back after 30 min and said they didnt have the right parts so they had to order it and it would take about 1 month (ok no problem so far). I then went back after the month and they came back to me after having my car for 2 hours and said they could not calibrate the windshield bc they didnt have the necessary boards (thats parts or equipment and i already waited one month) and that I would have to go back to the dealership and get it done....why didnt you tell me that in the first place. So now I go back to the dealership and they come back after some time and said the windshield got improperly installed and I would have to go back to safelite and get it fixed......go back and after an hour they seem to have finally installed it correctly but I have to go back to the dealership and get the windshield recalibrated......what a waste of time. I will never go back there again.

      I took my new Mercedes in to the Safelite in High Point North Carolina for a tiny chip fill. 30 minutes later the chip has spidered out to 3 times the size and they tell me that I should replace the windshield for an additional $1,600++.
      They didn’t even wave the camera reconfiguration charge. If they had informed me of the risk I would not have tried to fix the chip and ultimately Safelite broke the windscreen and should be replacing it as this is their responsibility.
      Overall I am extremely unhappy with the service and poor attitude of the staff. I definitely would not recommend using them.

      We've only tried for three times to get my mom's windshield replaced. took them forever before they actually came out. Then they came out to replace the windshield and found out they had the wrong windshield. Came back out a second time to replace the windshield and then they broke a clip which holds up the rearview mirror. Now today they come out the third time and find out that they have the windshield and not the right clip. This is getting to be a pain in the butt. Will not be recommending and will never be using again.
