      Last Thursday I scheduled to have a new windshield put in this morning. The guy called to confirm that he was on his way, but intentionally chose not to mention that he only had a scratched windshield available. He offered to lower the price by $75. It was already discounted $25 due to the inconvenience of not allowing customers to speak with customer service associates. These "discounts" left the price $100 over the cost of competitors. The other option was to reschedule for next week, after waiting a week for this appointment, and missing an appointment for this mornings lack of windshield replacement. When I asked him why he hadn't been honest before coming out, he told me that he had to bring the scratched windshield and attempt to sell it. If your inventory has defects, attempting to push it on someone who is in need is just wrong.

      Third attempt in the month of April 2023 to get my windshield replaced. First appt the tech said we received wrong windshield, we have to reschedule, after I sat in waiting room for an hour. The 2nd schedule I made sure it was noted on ticket they sent wrong windshield we rescheduled then to be called back a week later to say did not receive windshield that we would need to push appt to the following week. I show up for 3rd appt today to be told they sent wrong windshield again. This company is a complete joke and waste of time. S. Ke nnedy

      Horrible. Just horrible. The repairperson never showed up, or called. I waited all day. Finally on my last call to them, they said the glass wasn't in.

      Pre-paid upfront for a mobile job. The tech tells me that there’s an outstanding balance for extra $45 for “special parts” not included in the quote. I check the online work order against the pre-paid receipt, and they removed the promo code(discount $45). I spoke with store representative who spoke with the manager, they then tell me it’s for a recycling fee. They knew exactly what happened but chose to lie about it instead. It’s a very simple error to see on the receipt. There are not a lot of items to have any confusion. I called them out on why the tech is asking to collect extra payment, and then they revert back to saying there will be no payment needed. Upon completion of the job the tech tells me he saved me some money by reusing some molding and plastic parts, but now the invoice is for $6. Molding should be replaced and is included in the price of the quote, and the plastic pieces are standard windshield wiper assembly covers that should not need any replacement unless cracked. The tech called the store to verify how much to collect. The store said “no payment” about 3 times until the tech finally accepted that his invoice was wrong. I should have known from the websites insistent sales tactics that they would try to upcharge on-site whatever they could get away with for people who don’t know any better. Would rather have paid more at the dealership for OEM.

      My insurance company recommended this location to replace my windshield. They put the wrong windshield on my truck, made Mr wait almost three weeks and still wants to charge me almost 400. They offered me 100 off for my inconvenience!!! I actually noticed this mistake before leaving safelite and if I had not noticed not only would I have paid for a windshield that I didn’t have but the mistake would not have been corrected! Bad Business

      I had my window replaced on Feb. 3rd and called after service due to my paint job being messed up.
      they told me they would refund me my order on Feb. 3rd.
      This refund check still hasn't made it to me, so I left a review on the site, on March 28th, for poor services and safe lite contacted me saying they would have their
      field management team reach out to me. I never heard form this field management team, so on April 3rd i give Corporate office a call. This man says he's gonna get the depot in question on the phone, after about 2 mins he gets back on to inform me the reason they haunt sent my refund out yet was because they needed to verify my address (odd since the address they changed my window at was my home address, but ill disregard this). This exchange took place April 3rd.It is now April 16th and i still have'nt received my refund from this company. I will never do business with these people again. It is not just a single depot in some area, it's the whole organization.

      Had a drop off appointment at 8am a we dropped off 7:50 and first person there. They close at 5pm at my husband hurriedly to get there and our car was not touched at all! 5:52 they tell him gotta bring the car back different day for recalibration since it’s too late on the day?!!!! He spoke to manager and there’s nothing they can do!?! All day our car was there first thing in the morning and nothing was done till end of day?! What kind of business is this?!? Other people in the shop there complaining as well. Why are they even open?!?5:26pm husband is still there, and they are just bringing in the car in the shop?!!!

      Safelite works with my spouses and my car insurance company. This is fine as most organizations use a subcontractor to some degree. A few weeks ago, one of the passenger windows on the driver's side was broken. A rock was kicked up by the lawnmower and had managed to be at the correct angle. At any rate, my spouse filed the claim and the appointment was scheduled for a few days later.
      The technician arrives, as scheduled, and determines that the wrong glass was ordered for the wrong side of the vehicle. The technician then informs my spouse that a new piece of glass will have to be ordered and someone will be reaching out to schedule an appointment. Long story short, my spouse nor myself, get a call to schedule the appointment. However, my spouse calls and finds out that the appointment was scheduled without our knowledge. However, we accept this, because we need the window fixed.
      The revised appointment day arrives and nobody shows up. My spouse calls the Safelite call center who attempts, numerous times, to reach the Safelite local shop to no avail. Eventually, my spouse just asks for a new appointment as it's getting frustrating. Day of this appointment arrives and we finally get a cancellation call. This was the last straw as we were given no reason. We ended up taking it to Honda, the OEM, in order to get the window replaced.
      Cost Breakdown:
      $720.95 for window repair
      $378.87 for window regulator (likely damaged do to some exposure. plastic protection lasts but so long
      $573.72 for Vehicle Rental. (child is disabled and has numerous therapies and appointments)

      $ 1,673.54 Total Cost
      Some disruption and delay is acceptable, but weeks of delays, no calls and then more delays are inexcusable. This is extremely poor customer service on the part of the shop and Safelite. The claim for all of the above expenses will be filed.
