      Safe flight is possibly the worst company if not the worst the top five Ive ever had to deal with. Number one I filed a claim to get a new windshield. The technician showed up did a terrible job installing and caused a total loss on my vehicle from the ************** office. Secondly, the office manager Would never return my calls after speaking with him. Ive called corporate. They said to call the local office that did the install the local office of the did the install said to call corporate it is a giant carnival on the merry-go-round talking in circles getting nowhere. The only thing I can say is live with that chipped windshield because if you deal with this unprofessional company, youll have more than an eyesore. Youll have a completely lost vehicle with no answers. If I could say one thing do everything in your power not to deal with Safelite they are disgusting and everything that is bad about big business

      They charged my sister for windshield $1,800 because she didn't know any better. I went and got a quote directly from ***** and it was only $1,300 How can they be more expensive than the dealer? This place will bill you, or your insurance to the moon. The high bill will raise your insurance premiums down the line. Don't take your car here take it to a mom and pop glass shop with affordable rates. I am a tesla technician so I know exactly what this should and shouldn't cost. They charged $500 for a 5 minute calibration. ***** calls for less than .3 on the job. This is a total fraud

      They do not guarantee or warranty their work. Had a small crack ‘repaired’ — 9 days later woke up to the whole windshield had cracked. Could not drive the car. They came back out and replaced, but wanted to charge us $400 for the ‘deductible’. I have tried to talk to the manager several times, but he would not discuss their warranty. Got 3 bills, to which I attached their ‘warranty’ to. No customer service, and then today we got the bill from a collection agency.
      They don’t deserve to be in business.

      $350 discrepancy between quote and actual price. I understand that listed prices are never the same as what you actually pay but thats nearly double the quote.

      I guess the same as everybody else! Had my windshield replaced in June. I noticed some cracks starting at
      The bottom of the windshield and extending upward, scheduled a warranty call. There are some tech said that the windshield was damaged by VANDALISM??.. ( they didn’t key the car but scratched the windshield?) when I said that I didn’t think that happened.. then it was a rock got caught under the wiper blades?? No way to get in touch with anyone at the location or Safelite corporate. Anyway, save your money and frustration… find another glass company!

      I had a windshield changed and the first time it was not sealed so when I washed the car, water came through and ruined my camera. They replaced the camera but could not get it calibrated. They said to take it to the dealership, and they would pay for it. I have been waiting for reimbursement for over 6 months but am getting a run around. I find the management dishonest and of low integrity.I have dealt with this company 4 times in person and had over 10 email communications. More than one person in customer service said they would get this taken care of yet they still come up with excuses. The last one was claiming that they do not deal with my insurance, but i did not use my insurance on this job. Total failure so far!

      With your January 16th email, ****************************** have grossly betrayed your customer commitment. To your surprise, I contracted with another glass service, who not only had the glass you said was discontinued, but installed it -- all within a period of 24 hours.We began this work-order on December 30, 2024 ... installation was scheduled for January 7th. On January 5th, you amended that work-order for installation on January 15th. On January 14th, I was called by Safelite, informing me that the glass wasn't at your location and Safelite would update me by EOD, January 15th. That never happened ... I had to call Safelite, at 4:45pm on January 15th.Then on January 16th, you issued your email to me. Safelite FAILED to keep its commitment, and offered no alternative solutions. I found that answer and your deleting the.work-order grossly negligent. You grossly FAILED your customer service commitment.

      POOR CUSTOMER CARE ********************** - ******************* (***** *. Store Manager) was unresponsive to 3 emails, and finally took my call due to our insurance company setting up a 3-way. The store manager did not hear my problem, due to damage of the latch-actuator from residual broken glass as would qualify this as poor workmanship. Our hatch / latch cavity should have been 100% clear/clean from broken glass as this clean-up was attempted by your Tech, but did not remove all broken glass with the tools on-site. Doing a complete job, would not have led to broken glass clogging the actuator, thus causing the unit to fail and an out of pocket expense of $900.00

      I received a quote from Safelite to replace my windshield of my vehicle. Not using any insurance but paying out of my own pocket. My quote was $430.86 on my quote. It did mention new wipers fee, recycling fee, $50 coupon discount, sales tax,. And the total was $430.86. Two days before my appointment, I received a confirmation call. The woman told me that they would be expecting to collect over $900 at the time of my windshield replacement. I mentioned to her that is not the quote I got. She did tell me that that quote I got did not include the calibration fee. I quickly canceled my appointment. I did call back and I spoke to a gentleman and he did mention that this is the way that Safelite works. And they are not allowed to mention that additional fee. Safelite, you have lost my business and Im sure many more possible customers will follow.
