Cracked windshield on our 2015 ******. Filed a claim with our insurance company who directed Safelite to work with us. First visit: 12/13/24 - they had our car most of the day & said they were unable to re-calibrate after replacing windshield. Wanted us to come back after they ordered OEM windshield. Second visit: 12/20/24: had our car most of the day & still unable to re-calibrate after replacing with OEM windshield. We were told to take it to a dealer or another qualified **********. They said some Subarus are like this sometimes. 1st ********** told us we need to replace camera & bid $4k. Another vendor has bid about **. All I know is that camera worked when we left the car on 12/13. Both vendors mentioned that cameras don't wear out - likely damaged during replacement. Safelite denies liability & says we signed waiver. We did sign a waiver that releases them of liability for driving without re-calibration. Bottom line: we are out 3-4k in addition to deductible. Adding insult to injury: we've gotten at least 2 emails from Safelite telling us schedule the re-calibration with them. We've used them in the past several times, but never again.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES. ** windshield cracked after three years due to unseen cold weather in ** and they tried to claim it was from an impact. I had one of their technicians come out and inspect it. He said there was no impacts where my windshield was broke. Then his boss the manager, not the technician, who wasnt even there, said that I had to bring my vehicle into the physical shop 4 days later so he could look at it. ** vehicle sat the entire 4 days and the crack expanded again due to the extreme cold. The manager inspected it, used some kind of sharp instrument to try and get in the cracks then tried to claim it was from impact. Uhm No Sir. ** car was parked the entire time. Literally tried to show him images of my odometer and windshield from day 1 all the way to current to prove what I was saying and he was disinterested. Cussed everyone out in that office and called their corporate number as soon as I left. Emailed them all my images and am waiting to see how they will respond. So pissed! Why have a warranty if you arent going to honor it!? There was zero impact on my windshield to have caused the initial crack you can literally tell in my images and it spread due to the temperature extremes.Update after a week still no response from their corporate office.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Frustrating, draw out, incompetent, strong arm tactics would not recommend.Initial windshield was poorly installed, molding was too wide and door could not be closed properly, despite their online tool stating my car was covered.MONTHs passed by trying to get a follow up appointment to correct. Appointments would be canceled last minute without any explanation Eventually, Safelite collections said I would be sent to a debt collector unless I paid in full first, which I was hesitant because MONTHs passed by without resolution. Relented and paid in full to avoid collections and they finally sent someone to fix the windshield.Despite paying, I was sent to collections and now told the responsibility is on me to contact the *right* department to get this colossal blunder fixed.Never again.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I had a minor crack in my windshield and, following my insurance companys recommendation, went to Safelite for repair and calibration (Order Number: 01820-708823). I spent 4.5 hours there, with 3 hours wasted before they even started working on my car. After 1.5 hours, they claimed the job was done, but features like lane assist and other Audi-specific systems werent workingonly the heads-up display functioned.When I contacted them, I was told to wait 56 hours for the features to activate, which seemed absurd. The next day, when nothing worked, I had to schedule another appointment . At that visit, Safelite admitted they couldnt fix the issue and suggested I take my car to ****. They assured me they would reimburse any additional recalibration costs, but later refused to honor this promise. Safelite failed to fulfill my request to provide the pre- and post-service reports.After several follow-ups, a representative named ***** falsely claimed my car had brake and steering issuesdespite my car showing no warnings or problems. **** eventually fixed the issues Safelite failed to address and confirmed there were no brake or steering problems. I also learned that Safelite uses generic calibration software, which isnt compatible with many car models, including mine.This experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and costly, with Safelites poor service and lack of accountability leaving me deeply *************** not trust safelite when they say or charge you for calibration. Picked up car from Safelite in PSL, which had clear spots on multiple locations in interior. Was told it wasnt Safelite because they dont use clear liquids, and that there was nothing to be done. This is not a valid excuse, as there are marks on my car that werent there before I dropped it off, and are on surfaces I havent touched (including on the replaced windshield??). Never received call from manager after a miscommunication to Safelite corporate where I was told theyd reach out either Unfortunately, Ill now be out the money to detail the interior of my car, and be unsure of what liquid got on my car interior and stayed for multiple days, making myself and some of my family feel somewhat uncomfortable driving.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I accidentally broke the rear window on my 2021 Ram. The truck has 12,000 miles on it and is in like new condition. No dents.Safelite in. Fond du lac WI quoted me a price $300 cheaper than the competition. Great. Took it in and was told it could take 3 hours to repair. It was done in one hour and ten minutes. Great. I paid out of pocket and left . I stopped to gas up and was shocked to see 3 dents around the perimeter of the window. I immediately called to complain and went to the store. The store manager was on the phone with corporate who was in the process of telling him I was on the way to show him the dents. He immediately denied any wrongdoing on their behalf. They are refusing to do the repairs which are going to cost several hundred dollars. Avoid them at all.costs. less than honest people to deal with top to bottomSafelite Auto Glass, Inc.

They set an appointment for me & when they showed up the windshield was damaged. No one would except their part with the damage. They rescheduled my appointment but in late afternoon of the next day. They tried to appease me with windshield wipers. They made me miss my own appointments, brought a damaged windshield to my home & offer me windshield wiper wipers for putting me out for their mistake? PLEASE!Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I have never, ever worked with a Safelite (and I have worked with different locations over the years) that is so disorganized and so mismanaged. My windshield was damaged almost a month ago, and have had multiple issues with this location in getting this basic windshield fixed. First it has been a major delay in the glass. Then they stated they couldn't come ON THE SAME DAY hours before the appointment to my home because of cold, asking if I could bring the car in for repair. Then that was scheduled. Then I arrive and only once I am back home after dropping off do they tell me they need another part. This is ridiculous with this location. They have no ability to care for the customer whatsoever.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I made an appointment within the time frame of 1 to 6. When no one showed up, we called and were told that the appointment had been canceled hours earlier because it was snowing in ********...
