What a terrible and dishonest company. They will say whatever they need to get a sale. And then when you show up for your appointment and ask for payment that was different and not agreed upon from your initial contact. They say that they will handle and speak with your insurance for you. I had to do all this for them. Not helpful from the beginning. Walked out of my appointment and will be finding another glass company for my back window. Stay away, stay very far away from Safelite in general.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

The first tech was very good and friendly, however my camera fell off in 2 days. Called customer service, the next tech reattached the camera but half of the view was blocked by the center piece on the windshield. I took it to Henderson Glass in New Baltimore and manager tells me that the camera is aftermarket and he normally just gives the customer some tape and says you do it. I’m handicap and was annoyed so he said he would do it for me this time. He was still giving me attitude. Less than a month later the camera fell off again. I wish my windshield was the same as it was prior to using Satellite minus the crack of course. I guess it’s just my turn to do what I think I paid them to do.
Poor customer service if you ask me. Something simple to make a customer happy shouldn’t be a hassle Mr. Manager!Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I haven’t picked up my car yet. But I had to call customer service about an issue and the woman on the phone was CONDESCENDING and overall not okay how she’s talking to me in a rude tone of voice when I’m the one having the bad day with my car.. pick your customer service employees wisely!!! Just had my windshield replaced today. While the technician was nice, I would not recommend this business to anyone. Shady practices and warranty of work. Unfortunately for you, I work at a government office and everyone now knows how bad your business practices are. Word spreads fast and WILL have an effect on your business.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I was given a quote of over $500 to replace the passenger side rear glass on my Elantra hatchback.. I then looked at windshield hub and they quoted me a price of $282.00!! Safelite is a rip-off!!Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

On 3/30/23 my insurance directed me to Safelite Auto Glass to repair a small chip on my windshield. On 4/3/23 The technician called and said he would be here in the a.m. which was no time frame really being I had to wait on them but they could have gave a timeframe didn’t. He never called when he was on his way he just showed up and he started on it. I heard the noise outside and I came to see what was going on and it was the technician. He rushed through the job literally done with in 10 minutes or a little less. I took pictures of the windshield the before and after the technician was done with it. It is way worse than before so I contacted the manager of Safelite Auto Glass which the Safelite manager said which I quote is that I will be held responsible for their mistakes which is not right being they advertise to stand behind their work they do and the manager also said that I had to pay for a whole new windshield and it was over $500. They were rude and disrespectful towards me. I will never recommend a business that acts like this. I want to put zero stars but I have to leave a one star rating/review because it won’t let me put a 0!Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I used the location in Huntsville, AL. People working there were friendly and did a great job replacing my windshield apart from some glass shards I found in my car upon completion. The main reason I am giving Safelite (not the Huntsville location, just as a business in general) a 3 out of 5 stars is due to the quality of the glass they install. This will be the second time I will have to replace the windshield on my Equinox. I do not tailgate and I keep substantial distance behind any/all vehicles I drive behind. However, their glass seems to crack and break faster than that of the factory installed windshields of any other vehicle I have had before. Definitely recommend using another auto glass company as most near me are also cheaper.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I had an appointment for 4/1/2023 from 12 to 5. The tech called me and verified the damage to my veichle and told me she would see mee soon. After waiting the whole time and even reaching out to the tech, she(Sarah) never contacted me or showed up. The office never contacted me either. I did connect with people online but all they did was offer excuses and were rude. I had to wait until today to talk to someone and all they did was make excuses and wanted me to reschedule and pay full price for their screw u. They don’t care about their customers. Wasted my whole day. I’ve been in customer service for over 30 years and if I did anything like that I would have lost my job. Horrible company to do business withSafelite Auto Glass, Inc.

1 starOn the 16th of March 2022. I went to the Safelite store located on Armenia Avenue to pick up my car, after a windshield glass change. Unfortunately the service was not good, because the glass did not work the rain sensor on the windshield. I took the car there on the 20th of May. A technician checked my car and said it had to be changed, as the glass was defective.
So, I rescheduled the service, took the car again on May 27 and left. I came back at the scheduled time, two hours later, I asked the guy who gave me the car who said everything was ok. The fact is, they didn't do anything! They didn't change the glass. The car continues with the same defect, the sensor does not work!!!
At that time I went there three times. Every time I took the car I spent money on Uber to take me and bring me back 4 times! Just the times I left my car, I spent 6 hours of my time! I don't know if this is a normal way of treating a customer. Calling attention that this is a car safety item.
August 2022. I sent an email to the entire board (CEO, VP and directors) explaining my issues. Also, I posted my complaints on Facebook and Instagram. One day, after my communication on social media and the email, someone called me and made a promise that Safelite would fix it right away. Nothing happened. One year my problem still problem I decided to sell my car. summer is coming and with it daily rains.Review fromJ. D.

I wish they had a negative-star rating system. I know these reviews go unnoticed a lot, but I hope my review as well as the others help.
This place, specifically the **** ****** ********** ***** ***** ***** ** *****, is unbelievably unprofessional. I saw everything from a pow wow at the front desk to a staff rolling their eyes at a customer after the customer walked off. First of all, this was 4th time!! I have had to get my car worked on, due to bad install done by the "certified" safe lite tech. I had an appointment per the Warranty Safe lite rep, but when I got to the location nothing was in the system for me. So, I sat for two hours calmly only to have the tech who was standing there gossiping come over to tell me he looked at my car and it was leaking from the install and they would have to order me another window because that one is defective. All I could do was look at him and explain that I now have molding and water damage due to this defective window that was put on my car 3x already. He basically looked lost and told me that the manager will be out to talk to me. He finally comes out and acted as if he did not know what to do but order me another window and when I stated the mold and water damage, he says to go get it detailed. WHICH I HAD ALREADY DID DUE TO THE WATER LEAKING!! I paid out-of-pocket and he acted as if I was the reason I had this leaking problem. This place is unprofessional, they do not take their job seriously, and do not even waste your time looking for a straight answer. I did not argue or lose my temper, although it is enough for any person to do, but I kept all of my receipts as well as the voicemail messages from the warranty representative and the shop located in Union City, Ga. Any further communication will be between my lawyer and a Safe Lite representative moving forward. I hate it is coming to this, but I have been dealing with this issue for over 6 months now.
