  I had a very small (tip of a pen) size chip in my windshield that I thought I should get repaired before it became a crack where I would have to get the windshield replaced. My friend recommended Safelight and that was the worst decision I've made. The technician arrived and literally took 3 hours to repair. He kept starting and stopping and then had to leave to get a piece of equipment. Not knowing I thought he was going above and beyond but to my surprise and dismay upon waking this morning I find a crack that's about 12 inches long extending on both sides of the "repair". When I called I was told 'oh, then we'll refund your insurance company and start a windshield replacement' but that I should check with my insurance company for my deductible. I asked them about the warrantee/guarantee they splash all over their ads etc... to this I was told "that's only for replacements, not repairs" I feel scammed and will have the replacement windshield done with another (reputable) company. I don't feel safe using Safelite and would not suggest anyone use them for any reason. By the way, the replacement is done through my insurance with no out of pocket costs so Safelite's scam didn't work for them. NEVER USING THEM AGAIN FOR ANY REASON!

  Showed up for their first appointment and the technicians did not know what they were doing with a 2006 Lexus Windshield. They needed to order parts to do the job.
  After not hearing from themI called to find out they had cancelled my appointment.
  Rescheduled to have an original Lexus windshield installed that would come with all required. They odered the factory windshield.
  The day before they were to install for the second time, they called to advise the parts did not come in, as they were unavailable at this time and would re-schedule.
  Received a notice they cancelled my appointment again.
  I called the Lexus Dealer and they confirmed the windshield is in fact available and that they could have one here within 24 hours.
  Never again will I use Safelite Autoglass. They have wasted month of my time.

  THE LOCATION LACKS PROFESSIONALISM AND HAS NO REGARD OR CONDIDERATION FOR THE TIME AND CONVIENCES OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. I WAS SCHEDULED FOR AN APPOINTMENT TODAY, 2/14/2023 THE TECHNICIAN SHOWED UP WITHOUT ALL OF THE ORDER AND COULD NOT FULFILL MY REQUEST TO HAVE THE GLASS IN MY CAR REPLACED. I LATER RECIEVED AN EMAIL FROM THE LOCATION STATING THAT MY APPOINTMENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED WITHOUT ANY EXPLINATION. I FEEL THAT THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A CALL MADE TO ME TO EXPLAIN WHY MY APPOINTMENT COULD NOT BE FULFILLED. THE APPOINTMNET WAS CONFIRMED THE DAY BEFORE THEREFORE THE FACT THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE NEEDED EQUIPTMENT TO FULFILL THE ORDER IS UNEXCEPTABLE. I AM CURRENTLY RENTING A VEHICLE BECAUSE MY CAR CAN NOT BE DRIVEN. THIS COMPANY'S LACK OF PROFESSIONLISM HAS CAUSED ME A GREAT INCONVIENCE. I WILL SEEK OUT OTHER SHOP FOR FUTURE REPAIRS. SAFELITE REALLY NEEDS TO INVEST TIME AND MONEY INTO CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION AND SATISFACTION TRAINING FOR THEIR STAFF. BY THE WAY THIS APPOINTMENT WAS RESCHEDULED BY THE ASSISTANT MANAGER FOR THE LOCATION WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THIS STORE NEEDS TRAINING THE LEADERSHIP SKILLS ARE PATHETIC TO SAY THE LEAST.

  absolutely horrible scam.
  schedule second week of sat jan online. told have to talk w. them and insurance on a call monday. took day off early to have a 3 way call on tuesday. told everything is set for upcoming appointment friday.
  friday 2:53 rep cancelled my appointment on the way out after taking the day off waiting. told i never had a call. they put me on hold for over 2 hour to talk to my insurance and found out yes the phone call on tuesday did take place. next available appointment next week.
  next wed, told repair not possible until glass is fix. partly my fault, i didn't know.
  fix car reschedule appointment. monday after car fix. call confirm wed for appointment sat afternoon. closer to 5 call told they will be cancelling my appointment again.
  my insurance cover for $45 of $545. i took at least 3 day off for this. i am wondering if safelite is working with my insurance for ignoring the Florida Statute §627.7288

  They came to my home for a windshield replacement. They installed a defective warped windshield on me. I had to make a SECOND appointment and they took half of my day again!! they don't check their product before they place it in your car according to the receptionist. Do YOU have the time for poor quality?! I'm hoping the second replacement is of professional quality--friggin thing is costly!! approx $650. I didn't catch the defectiveness until I started driving around with it. And Im stuck at home an additional two hours waiting for the windshield to set after repairs so I can drive safely. They're supposed to be here 8am - 12pm it's now 11:17am and still no tech!! You really shouldn't use this company.

  If I could score Safelite AutoGlass zero stars I would. We we're given a 5 hour window where someone had to be home because rain was a possibility and they cannot work outside in the rain. We called to check as the day progressed and we're told the appointment would be handled. 6 PM came, no tech. We tried calling the office again, but we didn't get answer because they were closed. How unprofessional to schedule an appointment and not show up, call, or text the customer. We called the office this morning and was told they're not sure what happened but they will add us to the schedule. They give us an appointment weeks away, and of course we push back. They offer to fit us in on Saturday but no appointment time, so I ask for clarity. Essentially we have to wait all day for the possibility of a tech squeezing us into the schedule. No confirmation, no guarantee, there is just a possibility that they will get to us. This is my first and last experience with Safelite. I highly recommend NOT USING SAFELITE and going to your local repair shop. This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and we chose them because they are supposed to be a reputable company. It gave poor customer and a waste of our time. No one seemed to care about the fact that my husband had to take off work for this appointment. Safelite failed and they didn't live up to their motto, they did not repair or replace!

  I scheduled an appointment for a windshield replacement with this company. I waited the entire day since my appointment window was pretty broad and took time off work. They never showed up. I never got a call or a follow up so I had to call to report that the job was never done. About a week or so goes by and they call back to reschedule. I’m rescheduled but the associate helping me never mentioned that I Am scheduled to come to the shop to do this. I receive an email the day of my appointment to remind me I have to be there by 9am. I call back to get this manner resolved and get an appointment where a technician comes to me like previously planned but I’m just kept on hold. The business is really unprofessional and I will no longer be using safe life due to the carelessness and unprofessionalism.

  Safelite damaged my radio screen and claim it was like that when I brought it in. The tech stated he wiped something sticky off it but didn’t damage it. The tech and asst manager was trying to get me say I did it and leave the property. I Called the police to get it resolved.

  I will drive around without a windshield before using this company again. I took the morning off for a windshield replacement. The installer came and installed, I thought all was well.
  I got into my truck and realized I had no satellite radio. It was not just not on, it could no longer be chosen as an input option.
  Looked at the pod behind rear view mirror and it is crooked and separated from the windshield. In addition the windshield is filthy with a huge suction cup mark right in my field of vision.
  Called back immediately and was told the tech would be back to fix. 5pm and still no show. Lost a whole day of work.
  Called again and was assured “their best tech” would be here at 9am. It is 10:13 and again - no show.
  Called back and they at first acted like they had no idea who I was or what the issue was, until finally they told me “he is on his way”……
  Another days work lost.

  Scheduled appointment yesterday, no one showed called company they said they called twice as they were lost. That was a lie no one called rescheduled for today and no one showed. Called again because I saw someone had changed my zip code. Got that straight and "somehow it got changed to wrong zip again. I will find a more reputable business
