      3rd time getting work done here, and each time crack turned out worse!. (This is on 2 different cars), very disappointed in how they treat their customers. Finally got a new windshield put in, noticed a tiny pin whole after being installed, Called customer service, said they would document it just in case. Came out to my car 3 days later to find a bigger chip, called nothing was ever documented, was treated like I was stupid. Said they can look at it, but can’t determine if it’s under warranty. Your telling me a windshield doesn’t last more then 2 weeks?

      I hate I put my trust & money into this company I wish I could give them no stars. My insurance recommended them to me. Which I definitely regret I got my back driver window replaced due to my car getting broken Which was a hard time for me. Everything on the door was still properly working besides having a broken back window. But after the worker replaced my window on 10/7/22. Days later I noticed the door they worked on lock was no longer locking properly as before. They sent someone out to check on it under the warranty. And come to find out the workers who replaced my back window broke off the wire to the lock. I called the office & customer service several times and put in complaints with so called managers. I have asked for a refund the manager refused and told me if so they would have to take the window & I told him that was fine because it doesn’t amount to my safety & me not being about to properly lock & unlock my back door due the worker breaking my door lock wire & never notified me or my family of it either at the time of service. I just want my money back the same way Safelite was quick to take almost $500 and me the consumer is definitely not satisfied with the service and not holding the worker accountable as well.

      If I could give then ZERO STARS I would DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!! SAFELITE kept my vehicle ALL DAY to call me a half an hour before closing to tell me the can’t do it due to rust…which is not true as I had the same issue with my other escape and they STILL did it and WARRANTIED IT and they LIED ABOUT calling me about it earlier. I should have known when the woman infront of me was having an issue with her service too and the woman at the front desk REMAINED ON THE PHONE WHILE I WAS THERE PICKING UP MY VEHICLE

      After scheduling an appointment two weeks ahead, I drove over an hour and a half just to find out they had given me the wrong address. I called the shop to tell them that I would be about 20-30 minutes late and was wondering if I could still be serviced. Was told by lady on the phone that it was no problem, and they would be happy to still service me. I show up 17 minutes after my scheduled time, where I am told by some rude man that since I am outside the 15 minute window, they won't be servicing me anymore. After explaining that I already called ahead and asked, he responded by telling me I was wrong and somebody must have showed up between them and now and then and that they won't be servicing me. Absolutely horrific experience all around and I can not recommend safelite in the slightest.

      My wife's 2010 Toyota sienna van's back glass was broken out and it was raining for two days Safelite told me it would be a week before they came out to replace it, I called another company and they came out the next day, they did a great job. Also my back glass was broken out of my Audi, Safelite told me that they could not get the glass it was no longer made. I had to go to Cleav land to get it, but I now have a glass in my car. I had to do the foot work when Safelite wouldn't. Safelite does not repair and it does not replace, at least in my case.

      Making appointments and repeated cancelations(3). Broken glass twice and possibly of rain for the third upcoming appointment. 15 days passed when I chose another company.

      I strongly advise all of customers not go to this insidious place. When you first time go to their place to replace your broken window, they will give you a low grade window ( it will automatically crack in a few months ). When you try to replace it (you think it is under warranty.) They cannot find any problem and make you an appointment to place it. When you come to this place to replace, they have you sit in waitring room. Then , about one hour later, they would tell you that their last time evaluation was wrong , the reason of your window's crack is to be strike. They will show you a tiny dent on your window crack, they probably made the dent with their nail. Then they definitely refuse to replace your window. They could do this to me , they could do this to you. Their service is horrible and terrible. My got my front window repair in April in 2022 at their place but it's automatically broken again in December in 2022 again (there was a crack longer than one dollar bill). I came to their place and their technician told me it is under warranty. They made a appointment for me to replace it but when I came today, their technician told me " your window was beaten by something , we did Not notice that last time so you have to pay for it out of your own pocket." Then their technician point at the " small point" and said " that is the hitting point on your window." I could not even see it. I asked , " how could you not find it last time." They said , " our last time checking technician is new." Last time they did not find it, now they told me my window is hit by something so it is not under warranty. This is the way how they treat customer. Their service are unprofessional and without integrity and treacherous. I hope you people learn some experience from my lesson.

      Safelite owes me $330. I came to them through my car insurance because I had a crack in my windshield. They installed my windshield but right after I began having issues with my windshield wipers. I contacted them and not even the shop manager could figure out what was wrong, so they told me to go to my car dealership. It cost me $200 just for them to see what was wrong. Turns out Safelite installed my windshield wipers wrong, which destroyed my windshield wiper motor. I contacted them and talked to the shady shop manager. At first, he refused to take responsibility. Then he tried to cut me a deal saying, "I'll do you a favor if you do me a favor". I called the district manager, and he was just as rude and refused to take responsibility. After getting my car insurance involved, Safelite agreed to pay me $150 for the new windshield wiper motor only if they were the ones to install the part and that they don’t pay for the $200 diagnostic fee. I didn't want to go through them again because they caused the problem; however, I couldn't afford the cost of my dealership installing the part, so I ended up agreeing to their demands. Everything seemed fine until I was driving in the rain in the middle of nowhere when my windshield wipers started malfunctioning. I met with a different Safelite shop where they again couldn’t figure out what was wrong, and they again told me to go to my car dealership. I did and they charged me $330 to diagnose and fix my car. I asked what was wrong and they said that my windshield wipers were installed wrong. AGAIN the SAME company made the SAME basic mistake costing me HUNDRED OF DOLLARS. I called the same two managers and they AGAIN refused to reimburse me and take accountability. Moral of this tragedy is to NEVER go to Safelite for anything. They are incompetent, immoral, will take advantage of you, and will cost you hundreds of dollars, time, and energy.

      Insurance claim with insurance authorizing OEM glass. SafeLite installs cheaper non-OEM version which can't be calibrated with the truck's systems properly. Tech states they'll call to reschedule a final re-cal because tech thinks it's a problem with the recalibration computer/software. No one calls me back, so I do the leg-work, call them almost a week later after waiting, and they state that it's the difference b/w OEM and the cheap knock-off version they used. I then have to wait for them to order the OEM glass and reschedule. After personally rescheduling so a tech doesn't have to do the work in 20 degree weather outside, I reschedule for another day a week later when weather is warm and sunny. The day of my appt, they cancel on me due to no one being available to do the job. When talking to the rep to reschedule, they don't even try to get you moved up based on their own cancellation and now again I'm waiting another week...so I tell them I'll bring it in at a scheduled time so they can get the work done at least within a week of their no-show cancellation the day of. While waiting at the shop's location, I never got notified they were running late while sitting in the waiting room, so I let them know they'll need to come back to my house like I had originally scheduled for the repair because for the 3rd time they're incapable of being able to perform the service correctly or at their scheduled time. 11105 Landmark 35 Drive SafeLite Customer Service and management at that NE San Antonio are incapable of handling simple scheduling and customer service matters. This has been the worst experience dealing with a company I've experienced in the last 10 years. I have zero confidence they'll be able to do the job correctly, as in addition to driving without proper safety systems active on my truck, there is now a rattle on the dash next to the windshield that wasn't there before (truck is less than a year old).

      Safelite failed to secure the panels next to the hood on my FJ Cruiser when replacing my windshield causing the driver's side panel to fly off. This issue caused my engine compartment to be exposed to the elements. Safelite agreed to replace it, but after nearly a month they couldn't produce a replacement panel or an ETA. I had Toyota fix it at my expense of $300.00 within a day. They refused to reimburse me, expecting me to drive with a missing panel on the driver's side of the engine compartment, and a loose panel on the passenger's side. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them because if they damage your vehicle they expect you drive it like that indefinitely due to their incompetent workmanship and nefarious business practices.
