      I was referred to safelite by USAA for a standard window replacement. It was the 3rd window replacement for the vehicle. The technicians came to my house and it was raining so I let them work in my garage. The technicians' cracked the pillar molding both sides for the car. Very expensive. When I called them out I was told they had trouble removing the molding. I was told that the window installer prior to them working on my car was at fault for the broken molding? If I knew they were going to do damage to my car I would have told them to STOP! ? My car has leaked from the time they touched my car. The damage claim was turned down my the manager because he said his technician's told him the molding was broken before they started. I can accept being turned down for a warranty claim what's new. Safelite is a business partner with this USAA so they have plenty of business without any consequence for poor customer service. The absolute arrogant attitude by the manager was what made my blood boil. He lied to my face as to who did the damage and how it occurred and believed he was right. Windshield replacement is an insurance racket and these guys are riding the wave.

      Very unorganized and terrible customer service from the business in *********** **. I purchased a 2018 *** X5 that had two chips on the windshield and needed a new windshield. Carmax gave the task to Safelite in *********** ** and boy what a disaster it was trying to get it replaced. I finally filed A complaint with Carmax complaint ***** The task was given to a new company who replaced the glass in one hour after receiving the order. That my one and last experience with Safelite.

      The worst company I have ever tried to deal with!! We had a crack in our windshield so we called, long story short not only were they a month out they told me that they would just replace the windshield because the tech gets more commission than fixing it. If we wanted it fixed it would be 2 months. If that's not bad enough, they would service our area which is funny because we live 20 min from 2 major cities. I have no clue how this company is still in business

      I will give this one star because there is no negative star option. I have to have my windshield replaced in tow vehicles, they were installed with no problem (both of my vehicles had tint prior to the install and I was told the glass that was being replaced would not be tinted and that was okay,) until the windshield that was replaced in my truck started leaking when it rained. I called in to choose the warranty option and have someone come check the leak because this only started leaking after they did the windshield replacement. I also told the manager that I had gotten my windshield re-tinted and had to have my truck cleaned and deodorized because of the lack of workmanship with the install. The manager ****** stated no problem if his guy found it was faulty install which caused the leak. He found it was a faulty install, they did the replacement and then I reached out to ****** to get the tint replaced and the deodorizing done. He said I would have to pay and then they would reimburse me. I paid for both. He requested I send him the receipts, I did and then he ghosted me. I called the corporate line and spoke to *****************************, she stated it would be resolved and it was ridiculous that it had taken so long April to June and wasn't resolved. No reimbursement. I then called the corporate line again in July and that rep told me they would be expediting the check. It is now September and I still have not been reimbursed and no one is responding to me. I am so disheartened.

      THEY CANNOT GET WINDSHIELDS and that is their job!!! FIRST APPOINTMENT was scheduled for 8/31/22 8a-1p at my home. The tech assigned to my appointment called to tell me my windshield didn't arrive and that I would have to reschedule. They rescheduled me for 9/6/22 1PM at their location, um no that it not the appointment type I originally scheduled. So then the next appointment was 9/8/22 1-6P at my home- but I had to cancel due to a work conflict. SECOND APPOINTMENT - Next available appointment 9/13/22 1-6pm - day came, my windshield is not on the truck! Apparently they don't receive their windshields until the *** OF THE APPOINTMENT! So here I am again, rescheduling for 9/17/22 1P-6P. I tried calling the day before to confirm they would have my windshield, spoke to someone, who was EXTREMELY RUDE AND NOT AT ALL HELPFUL! I was told they could not confirm anything because it was not at their store. It was showing as RESERVED in their system but that was it. I asked her to have the manager or someone who could do something call me if it was not on the truck.So here I am on my THRID APPOINTMENT TIME, they were a NO SHOW, NO CALL, NO COMMUNICATION TO***. I tried calling them at 5PM - THEY ARE CLOSED! Can you believe it! They have my appointment time from 1-6P but they close at 5P! Their business model of getting the product in the same day as the appointment is terrible. Who does that? I have DMed their corporate office via Instagram hoping to have better luck.....but based on other's comments I am not holding my breath. **************** is dead. Still trying to get my windshield repaired. I have now contacted my insurance company for more options.

      We noticed a small chip in our front windshield last year and had the company do a repair to ensure that this small chip did not get bigger. However, over the course of this past year, the crack has now continued to grow so, we contacted the company.We were told that they cannot re-repair the chip and that we would need a new windshield. I asked if they would cover it since the initial repair did not work. The answer was 'no'. However, they would refund what we paid. We tried to complain to customer service - there IS no customer service, only sales.If they had done the correct repair, we would not have to get a new windshield, and we (even with insurance) have to pay more. I will never let them touch our cars again.Safelite Repair, Safelite Replace - a garbage motto.

      Absolutely the worst place I have ever dealt with. From the unprofessional customer service to the awful windshield installation I would never recommend this Safelite location to ANYONE! My windshield was set incorrectly and leaked heavily. They did not want to help with fixing anything. I took it to another location that was the complete opposite and VERY professional.

      I attempted every way possible to contact safelite to help me determine which location might best serve my needs. (I am in between a few locations and simply wanted to know which one would be able to schedule me soonest.) But unless I chose a location and scheduled an appointment, there was no way to find out this information. The customer care number simply directs you to online, as you can see from many other reviews, and then hangs up. Unfortunately, unless I had a prior service with them, there was no way to talk to a live person. I am actually glad Safelite couldn't respond because I then went to look at local businesses who install windshields, read the reviews, talked directly to a service representative and had my auto glass expertly installed the same day. (I should also say that the online quote from safelite, after submitting my Vin, was outrageous, compared to what I paid.) Sorry Safelite, but you need to try harder. Clearly, this feels like an insurance mill (see several reviews below). Try local before going the Safelite route.

      Being in the auto business my entire life, this company has the the worst business ethical standards I have ever encountered. I was amazed that they were still in business after the service I received. Honestly, I would rather drive down the interstate with my head out the window or sunroof before I let these people ever lay a hand on my car. They stay in business because the insurance companies allow them to take advantage of their customers, the customers get defrauded as both Safelite and the insurance companies walk away ahead with pre negotiations that allow them to harm customers financially, mentally, and more importantly physically by using a terrible product and even worse customer service, potentially putting their lives in danger. Save and pay out of pocket before filing an insurance claim, and this would ultimately force Safelite out of business. If windshields were eliminated from insurance claims, just like tires, we would not have to deal with paying higher premiums for auto insurance so Safelite and insurance companies could keep padding their pockets by wrongful deception. Stay the F&@$ away from Safelite or you will soon find out what I mean.

      Was told one thing about getting my windshield replaced then when received text on appointment but found out i was going to get billed. Won't recommend them to anyone
