      It just seems like it’s always something with vinebrook. My girlfriend and I have had a couple instances with vinebrook saying we dont/haven’t paid a utility bill because they receive a copy of a bill and end up charging us. After speaking with our utility company for our sewer we were told since they’re the landlord they always receive a copy. I guess vinebrook randomly decides when they want to pay said bill to charge the resident and according to the representative from the utility company they know of many instances where theyve done this to many other residents. This company is shady, weird, and just bottom of the barrel “agents”. I’ve never seen a company where the agents are so bad that I have to rely on just ONE PERSON for any and all issues. I feel so bad for the good agent abby that has to work for such a company. Hopefully she can work for a more reputable company soon because judging by these other reviews and lawsuits I’ve seen in other cities this is a sinking ship.

      The worst real estate to rent from. They stole my application fee. I submitted my info the application was not finished before I completed it I changed my mind due to the negative reviews.
      The never serviced me. When I asked for my refund the passed the buck for about 3 wks. before having someone to call and say they was not going to refund my application fee. I dont have money to giveaway for nothing I am on a fixed income 66 year old disabled senior. I just want my refund nothing more.

      I currently rent and my house is flooding m assuming back up and they said I’ve been pushed for top of the list. Mind you a few months ago took them four days to get refrigerator to my house.

      DO NOT RENT FROM VINEBROOK EVER !!!
      They don’t fix nothing. You can never get a live person to talk to they will placed an eviction on you and won’t take no partial payments they don’t work with you as a company. They are horrible company to rent from. When you do leave a message with the customer service representative they never call you back. They just want your rent and that’s it. If you do rent from them don’t get behind in rent because after a month they won’t accept your rent. Horrible company I never ever leave bad reviews about company but this rental company needs to be shut down for good. Cassandra that works in the office in gahanna ohio is very rude and nasty and need to be fired the way she talks to people. If I was anybody looking to rent don’t rent from vinebrook your better off living in a homeless shelter than to live at one of their properties.

      This review is no reflection on Kimberly C****** the Triad Portfolio manager! Do NOT rent from them! Just look at all of their other reviews (BBB, etc) and that in itself shows why you absolutely should not. I will elaborate more for you though. This company is money hungry and that’s all that they care about! They buy too many houses and can’t keep them up. Maintenance mostly does not do a good job of repairing issues correctly and ends up having to come back. They can’t keep staff which means a longer wait for maintenance requests. If you’re late on your rent (even one day) then you will get emails and calls. Yet you can’t ever reach anybody over the phone except the people from their answering service whom can’t assist, they just take notes and you may or may not even get a call back. They will slap an eviction on you quick, even when you pay by the latest date that they state in the letter via email (everything is handled this way). A sheriff delivered eviction papers and a copy was mailed to my home even after I had already paid my rent. That can be embarrassing and was completely unnecessary. My home was without air for a whole week when I first moved in back in June 2022 when the temperatures were very high! They knew that there was an issue with the air before they even allowed me to move in, yet they still allowed me to do so. They ended up having to hire a vendor to replace the entire HVAC unit/system. The home I moved into had a dead roach in the refrigerator on move in day, which let me know that there was roaches in there already. My home was supposedly “renovated” yet I had to put in a lot of maintenance requests as soon as I moved in. Including one side of the cabinet about to come off of the wall a few months after being there. I rented through them for a year and was excited to get out of there! This company is terrible and not to be trusted. I went through so much headache with this company. Just look elsewhere for renting your home. Trust me!

      I would give them zero stars. If I could, we have lived a nightmare, renting from Vinebrook! Mental physical, emotional damage has been done not to mention damage of most of my property, because of neglecting to fix maintenance issues in a timely manner and terrible communication.

      I've been in my homes since September 2019. The home was under a different Owner at the time. At or around 1 year later Vibebrook took over as Owner and Landlord. The experience has been horrible. Since Vinebrook took over Ownership of my rental property I've suffered mentally and emotionally. I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income. My rent on 9/19/2019 was $975. per month. Since Vinebrook took over my rent has gone up tremendously. To date it is now $1235.00 per month with not a single upgrade or regular maintenance. Since that time however more and more owner responsibilities has been placed on me the renter. While I reported to them my income has been reduced per month, they resigned my and then proceeded to harass me when I stated I'd be late. Meanwhile they recently removed the Request Maintenance tab from their Renters Portal. I had to email the numerous Maintenance request that are a danger to my presence.
      I would not recommend this business to anyone, especially our veterans.

      BBB should allow zero stars. Their customer service suck. They want to charge you to come fix an issue and they drag their feet to get someone out to come fix the issue. They make sure to get their money every month smh. You would think how long they've been in business they would've figured how to get it right by now. They don't want you coming up to the office makes me think they had an incident with one of their tenants before. Doesn't surprise me their in a big lawsuit right now. I know a few people that use to work for them say the would never work for them again because they take their sweet time paying. I wish I would of did my research before moving into one of their homes. Soon as lease is up I'm out!

      I would give 0 stars if I could. I have been a loyal resident for 2 1/2 years. The customer service including Maintenace department is TERRIBLE!!!!! I have had multiple things go wrong in my town home some that still have not been fixed in over a year. This is my final straw and will never sign another lease, in fact i am in the process of putting my rent in escrow as I have had no ac in 4 days, my townhouse does not have windows on the main level so cannot put in a window unit, my back sliding door has been broke since I moved in with no screen door so unable to even open the door. the temperature is currently 85 degrees, and today is going to be hot and humid, I have called every number imaginable and entered my request online, followed up with no response into when this will be addressed.

      Completely incompetent. Balance was incorrect and the company has the nerve to send me a notice of eviction, after email upon email and voicemail after voicemail to just have a dialog. They are clearly ignoring me or just too poorly managed to actually help tenants. This company has serious issues that they obviously don’t care about because money. DON’T EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! Oh yea and don’t mind the rating because you get ZERO STARS!!
