  Half these 1 star reviews are fake. One is a one star review because they didn’t even get selected for a home. Another is a homeowner that isn’t a renter complaining about vb buying houses in their neighborhood. Another is complaining about an apartment… vinebrook doesn’t even own apartments…

  DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. I have been waiting to have my ceiling and roof repaired for over 7 months. Ive had a flood of feces and water in my basement and it was of no emergency for them to fix it. Which I had to clean up myself after being in the home less than 2 weeks. Theres no urgency to fix or repair anything. They find homes in bad condition, do minimum repairs and place them up for lease. I have an attorney and we are taking this to court.

  I got the keys and signed my lease yesterday. I went over to house to sweep today and start cleaning and noticed a lot wrong, especially when I was told the carpets were professionally cleaned as they weren’t in a bad enough state of needing replaced (although the tenants before seemed to live there for 5 years according to Zillow) and the house was painted.
  There are scribbles on walls in the master bedroom and living room. As well as burn holes and stains in the carpet. After sweeping (which I emptied the canister and took photos after each room and sent to Vinebrook) it seems as though nothing was even swept really.
  The front window doesn’t close correctly or lock. The garbage disposal doesn’t work, the air conditioning or water heater seems to have a slow leak and we have no garbage can to even throw the trash/wood clippings and countless random screws and nails away in

  The worst property management company ever!! They don’t even have a physical office, everything is communicated via phone or email. They go up on the rent and don’t even fix anything! What’s the point in having maintenance if you still have to pay a fee for them to come out to just “look” at the problem and then if they determine a contractor needs to come out you’re responsible for paying to get things fixed that should be covered in the lease.

  I have been waiting for maintenance to replace a window in my apartment for 8 wks and every time I report it again and again I get a email stating it is complete. My contract stays MOST maintenance request is 7-14 repair time. I no it don’t take 8 wks to replace a piece of glass… I 1st reported on May 7th. They came and took the window out and I only have a piece of broken looks to be paneling over the window! I bought a piece of plexiglass and cover the outside so my belongs would not get damaged from rain. Also to protect my belongings… not to mention I’m a single female and live by myself. I don’t not feel I’m being treated to the standard of how they put it on there advertised.

  Horrible place to work. Horrible management and no one does anything about it. They keep letting the good people go and keeps the lazy ones that don’t think they need to work. They don’t pay their workers or contractors.

  They have a wonderful maintenance department Johnathan is on top of every issue. He is a pleasure to work with and very efficient.
  Today I had to call the call center and Robin was also great so pleasant.

  They moved me into a home that did not pass an inspection with code enforcement. It’s very hard to get in contact with someone who can help. There’s mold in the basement , the frame of the home is not correct, the home floods when it rains, the roof needs replaced, stairs and sidewalks are hazards, and the plumbing is terrible. The neighbors have told me that they can’t keep tenants in this home and now I see why. I have not even lived in this home for 30days yet and I’m already ready to put my rent in escrow.

  I AM A HOME OWNER, and this company is buying up property and charging crazy prices to renters, while moving trashy people into them, while the home owners around here suffer. It's awful. They could care less as long as there pockets are fool of cash. I think I'm goin to start goin to the town meetings, and do something about this bunch. Slumlords just the tip of the iceberg.. WE ARE HOME OWNERS, you are ruining our neighborhoods.. WE ARE TIRED OF IT. ... Nuisance homes get shut down. I know of 1, that should be shut down and boarded up., YOU OWN. I've watched the police carry guns out if this home, children's service there weekly as well, they are loud , rude, cuss the kids out, n smart off to the neighbors when the cops get called on them....we can hear them it went on for over an hour.. I FINALLY CALLED THE COPS, I feared for the little ones, no parent should talk to a child like that., It's bad when you hear what they are saying behind closed doors as if they were in front of you. They don't need those kids., and they sure as hell do not need to live in a community of home owners. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ACT LIKE IDIOTS. VINEBROOK YOU NEED TO DO A BETTER JOB,
