Worst renting experience I've had. Vinebrook bought the rental I was in, (who weren't much better) in August and I have not been able to pay my bills due to a glitch in their payment portal, I have been calling for 3 months in an attempt to get this fixed and left multiple messages with their call center , they finally reached out to tell me I was being evicted. I am a single mother of two , I asked if I could hair payment over phone , I was then told I needed to send a certified check to an address I gave never heard all while the lady on the phone would only give me her first name and no direct contact information. I am still unable to get In touch with them all while trying to just pay what I owe. They are extremely unprofessional.Vinebrook Homes Ohio, LLC

The house i had was mange great until they sold the house to Vine brook. they take forever to send maintenance out. I had a leading pipe, and they did not come for three days, then my refrigerator went out and another five days (causing my food to go bad) They did not offer to replace my food or nothing. They are very nasty and rude when they decide to replay back to email. IF you do not resign a lease they add hundreds of dollars for a month to month few. NEVER RENT FROM THEM HORRIBLE. They should be blocked from buying homes in the tri state areaVinebrook Homes Ohio, LLC

I need my damn roof fixed. A tree fell on my roof near my sons and daughter room in July before the floods in Saint Louis even happened. It took them about 3 weeks to even get the tree off my roof. And here it is now November and they say they are only going to fix the inside dry wall and replace the carpet but leave the 3 big *** holes in the roof so when it continues to rain and eventually snow, the roof will probably cave in. Why fix the inside if you’re going to leave the outside the way it is so it can continue to happen. This is by far the worse company to ever rent from. Getting in touch with somebody is even worse. Then when you curse they dumb *** out, they wanna ban you from the office. We need to do a class action lawsuit. Like if I was gone through this I would have just gotten a private owner. But this is like the 3rd property management company. And didn’t have problems until they took over. BBB y’all see all these 1s, like how do we take this company down? 1 starMy lease was taken over in August. Since then, we have been trying to find out how to see and pay our utility bills. Over the past two months, we have been told at least 6 different things. I still haven’t seen a utility bill. My water was two months late and in risk of disconnection in September. I called and emailed numerous times over a period of several weeks to finally get it paid but no response on how to see or pay my bill in the future. Now my gas has been disconnected and my power is two months late and at risk of disconnection. The last instruction we got in September said the utilities would be put in Vinebrook’s name and billed back to us. On October 27, we received an email stating we need to put the utilities in our name and we had 30 days to do that so at this point, they are currently still Vinebrook’s responsibility. I cannot get anymore info from the utilities because the bills aren’t in my name. For the past two days, I have called and left urgent messages with the main number, our area manager, and the only corporate person I could find listed numerous times each. I have also texted our area manager, and emailed customer service at VB once and utilities at least twice (maybe three times) with urgent flagged messages and have received zero response from any of these attempts. This is in addition to the months that I have been trying to get answers on how to pay the utilities and where to see the bill. It is going to be cold here this weekend and at this point, we are without heat and will possibly be without power by that time if something isn’t done immediately. I was actually told my a Vinebrook employee that several of their renters had utilities disconnected after they took over our leases and that we just needed to be patient with them while they work things out. We lived in a home in Dayton for a year and a half, maintenance employees were nice and competent if they showed up. We had mold in our house from a leak in the roof, was told last Christmas that they would take care of it in the spring, in spring I put another order in, they came out said we would be top priority, the roof was never fixed. I scrubbed the walls, repainted and sealed the bedroom that was involved, took out the carpet, padding etc, bleached the area myself. They didn’t follow through with maintenance, we had a dry hose that was too long in the attic, it was accumulating water, when up in the attic tons of water came down out of the dryer vent, they never did look at it. Had a broken window in the garage, they came and took the window never brought one back. My refrigerator went dead on a Saturday, never brought me a new one, I went out and bought one. Worst renting experience I've had. Vinebrook bought the rental I was in, (who weren't much better) in August and I have still not heard from their retention department despite numerous emails. The only person who heard from them was my roommate. I can't communicate with them, can't pay rent, can't put in maintenance requests, nothing. When they took over, they made us switch our utility bills over to them, and now one month before we leave, our water is turned off suddenly just after they tell us to take our bills back. Don't ever rent from these leeches. They are evil, callous predators. One month can't come sooner.Vinebrook Homes Ohio, LLC

I am stuck with no way in residence. No one in customer service can helped me they keep sending me to different extensions with no prevail. Vinebrook bought my house on September 19th got an email without a letter head or saying vinebrook. It was a link for me to do a lease & payment but it didn't let me access it. Then on the 4th of October an associate calls I tell her what the problem is she gives me access to pay my rent then on the 12th of October I get an email stating I have to move & a lease can not be renewed.
