      Today December 20, 2022 I received an email from IGS @ 12:28 thanking me for my enrollment that I didn't authorize. I didn't notice the email until @1:30 and called IGS. I initially spoke with **** and explained the situation and he put me on hold. The call was then answered by **** I then explained the situation to her and she proceeded to say that it was authorized by myself or a member of the household. I stated that that was impossible because I was the only person home and I just awaken to this email. I stated that this should be cancelled because it was made fraudulently. **** then told me that I needed to call Toledo ****** and cancel the change in service. I demanded that she cancel the authorization because it was made fraudulently by their organization. I was reluctantly given a cancellation # and apologized to. If I was not adamant about me not authorizing a change in my electric service, nothing would have been done on their behalf to remedy the situation and I still have to contact Toledo ****** because I do not trust IGS to do the right thing due to their eagerness to commit fraud.

      Igs salesman came to my door at 135PM. Asked for me by name. Spouse told him I was not available. I told this same man a few months ago not to come back. Not interested.

      Sales agent came to my door. I was told: My rates would be lower for both energy and gas. Received the first bill and they are almost double. I was not told I was getting into a 3 year contract , but I made sure I am not signing the contract. I was NOT told about early termination or cancellation fees. I just insulated my home, only to be scammed and double my gas and electric bill. Upon speaking with a supervisor in customer service I was told there was nothing they can do, that they send out terms and conditions on my email and I opened them, but I never did. And i have to pay 199 cancellation fee for electric and same amount for gas. This company is a total scam!!!!

      Door to door salesman - pushy and persistent. Refused to leave when I stated I wasn't interested. Do not come back to my house!

      An employee ******* ***** stop by my house about switching our electric, he said we could save 50% on our electric bill and he asked ro see the current election bill which my wife handed ro him, I told him we wasn't interested in switching anything at this time and he said he would send us something in the mail about everything.

      I told him several times I didn't want to switch. I even called him the same day to express not wanting to switch and he said well it ain't for everyone. Then I received a letter in the mail that it said our account from toledo Edison was switched. I called igs energy and they said it couldn't be switched without a signature and I did not sign anything. The lady said she will put them on a do not stop by again list, and I said I did not authorize him to switch and I did not sign.

      This ****** forged my signature. I called toledo Edison and they said they would make sure it didn't switch but they had received the authorization that I ok'd the switch.

      I would like something done because I am elderly and I feel they are taking an advantage of the elderly community and signing our names. I would like action against this company and ****** for taking advantage of me. ******************** and his mobile phone is **********

      An IGS Energy spokesman came to our door and talked us into purchasing a plan with them by promising us easy cancellation at anytime after the first year. I was also told that I was only signing a 1 year contract, but they changed it to a 3 year one without my knowledge or consent.
      We’ve been with them for over a year and have tried to cancel twice - the first time they “overrode” our cancellation, and the second time they told us we would have to pay a $100 fee to cancel. When I called about it, their customer service representative was incredibly rude and demeaning. She told us we had to pay and threatened to call collections instead of hearing what our issue was. I asked for her name to report how she behaved but she hung up without giving it.

      feedback. We’re sorry to hear you’re not pleased. IGS does show the cancellation was processed on Dec 1, 2022.  It can take one to two billing cycles for the utility to remove IGS from the billing. 

      IGS also shows our agent waived the early termination fee.

      They are trying to bill my mother a 100$ cancelation fee. I waited until fixed contract had run out and was then being charged their monthly market rate and changed providers yet they are trying to say my mother cancelled a fixed rate plan.

      IGS shows on July 27, 2022 the customer agreed to a fixed rate contract of 8.99 per ccf for 12 months.  IGS show we sent a copy of the terms and enrollment call to the customer on 12/02/2022.

      The account is no longer active but does have a balance of $99.00 for early termination fee.

      This gas electric supplier came to my home and the man said he would save me money on gas/electric. He seemed trustworthy but rushed me through everything. They are not upfront with rates and fees. They scam people out of money. My electric bill doubled and my gas bill went up. They charged me $199 for both gas and electric to cancel their service. I had to pay a $700 shut off notice for electric because my bill was so high. They prey on people and are not upfront. They are scammers.

      We leased a solar panel system from IGS in 2020. Since installation we have had complaints about the size of the system designed for our home. We have been put off with "give it a year" and "we'll look at it later". We finally got an analysis from IGS on 10/18/2021 which showed the system working as it should. This is not the problem; the system was under-designed by the salesperson, we need additional panels, and no one from IGS has responded to our multiple contacts to resolve this issue. We are very frustrated with the nonchalant attitude of this company and its representatives, and hope we can get this resolved.

      This company is a fraud. The guy they sent out (******** *****) said he was sent by Columbia gas and claimed to be working with them to fix billing issues. He said it won’t increase rates or anything. Everything he said was a lie. These people should be in trouble for impersonating a utility company.
