      This company is good at scamming you. The salesman claimed lower Bill's with certain charges dropped on the Duke Energy bill. Recieved first bill and the charges that were to be dropped , doubled on the bill. There was two charges for each one. Now they want to charge $199 cancellation fee. Stay away from them and turn away any salesman that comes to your door.

      A representative and someone in training came to my door in the summer remind you my new landlord on the property at the time. He asked for my Duke bill and told me they could get my bill lowered which was a lie. I canceled with them last month and it’s still on my bill. I talked to someone about it and she told me I would have to pay 99.00 to cancel they said my bill would be lower but actually it’s higher. I very upset about this definitely a scam I would never recommend them to no one.

      I have owned my home for 8 yrs. never a 241.00 dollar gas bill ! I'm being ripped off by IGS and I want to see a signed contract from 2019-20 like they claim !

      I've always paid all of my AEP bill's, randomly now I suddenly owe this "company" $26 which is now on my credit, because my suppliers changed on their own ????? who knows but there is absolutely no reason I should still owe IGS any kind of my money when the provider fee is included in the bill amount and I've paid all of my bills. What a scam.

      A representative from IGS just came to my door and the encounter resulted in me reporting the visit to the police. Young man with an IGS lanyard said that my good variable rate was expiring and I had not responded to any emails or text messages. When I would not listen to his spiel he said that obviously this was not important to me. I again said I would talk to Dominion East Ohio and I did not do business with door-to-door strangers. He threatened to have my gas service turned off. I told him I would report him. I closed the door and he left in an unmarked black pickup truck. I reported the visit to the local police and my neighbor who also observed the truck leaving. If this person was an IGS representative their business practices are reprehensible. Do not talk to doo-to-door solicitors!

      Rep at my door also. I got suspicious when asked for info on my electric bill. I was NOT being led to believe that I was switching providers. I was told a lot of B.S. and pressed for info. I went inside to get a bill but actually googled IGS and OH MY!
      Back outside and confronted with reviews, the actual, audible, out loud reply I got was - “Yeeeea…… google reviews aren’t so good”
      BYE !! Unbelievable
      I see similar reviews. Questionable sales tactics and accusations of fraud.
      This company is begging for a class action lawsuit
      -“A class-action lawsuit is a civil lawsuit brought on behalf of a group of people or business entities who have suffered common injuries as a result of the defendants' conduct, with at least one individual or entity acting as a representative of that group.”

      I just recently found out that they were supplying my electric usage that I did not authorize and just canceled them. My electric company is Ohio Edison. Igs is trying to charge an early termination fee that I refuse to pay since I never authorized it. This company is not to be trusted as they somehow get your information and use it without your knowledge.

      Was misled by a sales rep coming to my door. I was told there was no cancellation fee and today I received a call that I would need to pay a cancellation fee per bill of $199. I am livid with the expectations this company has given me without a single one of their promises coming true, I paid more for my gas and electric and I have a pretty sizeable cancellation fee.

      Someone came to my door in July and when I signed up I was told that my bill would be significantly lower. In fact my bill was more than twice as high as it was before. I ended up having to sign up for government utility assistance because I could not afford my bill and when you are part of those programs you are not allowed to use a company like this and they canceled on my behalf. I've now be in charge $398 cancellation fee which is significantly higher than I see in any of these other comments. Not happy. Would definitely not recommend

      DECEITFUL PRACTICES! Reps from IGS came to my home and said they were updating supplier info. I asked them repeatedly if anything would change and they said no each time, they were strictly gathering info. This was on 12/01/22. On 12/05/22 I received notices from my gas and electric companies that IGS was my new supplier, which I NEVER agreed to! I have cancelled them with my energy companies but I lost my fixed rate for natural gas thru my supplier and I am stuck paying a higher rate because they cancelled my current supplier. The reps blatantly lied to my face and disregarded my insistence that nothing change. I have filed complaints with the BBB, IGS, ohio Edison and Dominion Energy. IGS is predatory and deceptive and this practice needs to be stopped.
