      This company is a scam. I was lead to believe it was a better rate. All they could say when I called to complain was the rate would not go up? It already when up 44 dollars compared to my regular bill. This is ridiculous. When I argued I was mislead all they could say was I agreed to the contract.I want out of this! Now I have to come up with 199 to break the contract.This is a complete racket.

      Thanks for the feedback. We are sorry to hear that you're not happy. Since the contract is past the 7 day cancellation period the early termination fee cannot be waived.

      Door to door ***** said I would save money using their services. My first bill is $110.00 more than what I paid last month with Duke Energy. I called to cancel and spoke to someone clearly not working in any type of office with a terrible connection (extremely unprofessional). I was told I have to pay $199 cancellation fee which was NEVER discussed during my conversation. I even asked about it! I'm a single mother, I cannot afford to pay an asinine amount of money for gas and electric. Please waive my cancellation fee, I want nothing to do with this. Look at all of these reviews...

      Avoid at all costs. Door-to-door salesman arrives in August and gives me the spiel regarding switching to IGS. I ask repeatedly while he was here if I could cancel at any time during the 3-year contract. He replies "no problem, no questions asked." Went to cancel my contracts (gas and electric) with IGS today and was informed that there is indeed an "early cancellation" fee of $199 per service! Now I'm locked in until Fall ****. Look elsewere for utility suppliers

      Scam scammers....IGS is the worst company ever. Over the summer a representative came to my home, sat at my kitchen table and I told her what exactly I wanted as my parent's had experienced this and I remember as a kid how expensive the water main break was from the sidewalk to the house and the city was not responsible, so I wanted to make sure I had it covered. As I was speaking to the rep., she went over what I was paying now and indicated that my rates were all good and nothing needed to be done. I explained to her, that I was disabled due to my vision and she spoke about being off recently with her knee. She also spoke about her husband and son. All through the conversation I reminded her of what I wanted and she appeared as if she understood. Fast forward, I get a pink piece of paper in the mail indicating I owe Ohio ****** $120 & IGS 230+, so I immediately got on the phone and wanted to know who switched me. I was told I signed up for it, now remind you I told this lady I did not want the service and for months cont. to get call requesting that I switch, but everytime they called, I said no and put me on your do not call list. So why would you cont to call if I had signed for it. Because I didn't, I also told her I was visually impared and trusted her to direct me where to sign. This is very deceptive and from other complaints is not an uncommon practice. I'm not paying and I want any monies paid to them back for falsely representing themselves as reputable. These people should be runout of business for misrepresentation, theft and fraud. She knew exactly what I told her and took advantage of my inability to see. I'm also taking back my line service contract as I want nothing from them except my money back and an apology. Just crooks. Why would anyone in this economy want 2 electric carriers and one as high as IGS. They can go to h*** The deserve no stars.

      Was misled by sales rep, said there was no early cancellation ******** bill would always be lower than utility company. My electric bill is now approximately $20 higher than the utility ************** are charging me a higher rate than my gas company. IGS did not submit info to Ohio ****** in Oct so in Nov I was charged for both months, which should be a violation of their contract & reason enough to cancel! ! I had previously tried to cancel & was charged a $99 termination fee, so I rescinded my cancellallation. This is a shady company & if they were confident in their services, they wouldn't feel necessary to have this fee!

      I felt I was misinformed when a representative came to my door to see about switching my Electric and *********** supplier to IGS. He told me he would save me money by bundling the 2 utilities for a year. I was shocked when I got my electric bill. I was charged 1 1/2 times more than what I had been paying. When I called and explained what happened they told me it would be $99 early termination fee for each utility. I was not satisfied and asked to speak with the manager. I told him I would not have signed if I knew it was going to be more expensive. He replied by saying that yes it was going to be higher at the beginning then it would go down and if I wanted to cancel I would have to pay the $99. I feel I was lied too up front and this was a scam. I am retired and on a fixed income and not happy about the situation. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

      Rude, Unprofessional and high sales tactic Door to door people. I've said multiple times over the years to stop coming to my door and they keep doing it. I want nothing to do with the company.

      IGS is a disguising company,The 99$ cancellation fee is just another way to ***** customers and seniors living on a fixed income.Bad experience and I will never go back to them again and I dont recommend others,they are as crooked and corporate greed.If I could live no star I would do it,they dont even deserve one star!

      I have been a happy customer of Just ********************** since signing up 3 years ago through **** Club. Recently an IGS rep came to my house and knocked my door. After a couple minutes he asked to see my Electric bill claiming my contract with Just Energy had expired and stating according to his records I was paying ***** cents/kilowatt usage and that he could get back down to 11 cents/kilowatt. I then grabbed one of my bills and he pointed to a number that seemed to reflect what he was telling me. I expressed to him numerous times that no matter what I did not want to see an increase in my bill or be charged for anything for switching or any other reason. He said there wouldnt be any charges of any kind and had me sign up for his company. A couple days later I received a call from Just Energy explaining they had gotten a notice from AES informing them I was making a switch and that I would be paying more as my current rate through Just Energy was **** cents/kilowatt. The Just Energy rep also had me go over my bill while explaining where to look and what to look for and we determined that I was in fact paying **** cents/kilowatt. He explained that there was nothing I needed to do and that he would take care of it due to the fact that I was already under an existing contract with Just Energy. Yesterday a rep for the retention department of IGS showed back up at my house and was again trying to tell me I was overpaying but didnt want to bad mouth their competition. I explained to him where I stood and that I was staying with Just Energy and today I received an email saying I was going to be charged an early termination fee of $199.00. If I could give this company zero stars for their manipulative practices I would. This strikes me as extremely dishonest and somewhat sleazy.

      Worst company to have a warranty through. Had to have sewer lines replaced and the first company they sent out was terrible. They claimed to have fixed the part of sewer line that needed to be fixed, but never did. Then they sent a second company out to fix the line and didn't cover the full cost of what they were supposed to so I had to come out my pocket more than I should have. I complained about the first company from the very beginning and they still paid them even though the problem was never fixed. They refuse to pay full amount of what is on my warranty agreement
