Wendy's Restaurant # ******** at 13090 SW 120th Street, Miami, FL 33186 (305)252-01444 sold me their 50 piece Family Nugget for $14.99 with 1.05 tax for a total of $16.04 9/22/2023 11:32pm. I handed them my bank debit/credit card and they swiped. I was told to pull forward and wait for the meal. Then ** ***** walks out and says your card did not process and needs to be swiped again. The cashier was not ***** as stated on the receipt. I'm assuming that was ** ***** who walked out to retrieve my card for a second swipe. He assured me it had not processed. I told him I don't want a double swipe. He said if it double charges he would refund but then when it came time to refund he said the second charge will drop off all by itself eventually and didn't know how to refund. The cashier on the receipt said ***** but there were these men and one female that I could see who was *******. The cashier was not *****.
The manager's name is ******* and I saw no other female.
The Resolution for this is that Wendy's needs to fix their credit card processing program so that double swipes don't occur and no further double charges occur. Another side effect is the potential for their inventory to show 50 nuggets less than what is on their shelf which if that is the case where do the extra 50 nuggets go?
Apparently there are so many double charges that this Wendy's doesn't know how many times they've double swiped.
I did receive a cash refund for $16.04 but without a receipt document showing the refund. Thus myself and the manager took photos of the money, original receipt and my bank account transactions showing duplicate charge.Initial Complaint

I mobile ordered our food which is suppose to be convenient and ready when you pick your food up, and it took over 40 minutes to get it and it was completely wrong. My kids have allergies to eggs so they can not have mayo as it poses a medical threat, so I went inside and explained why I was frustrated and requested that they replace them or give me a refund but the employee “*****” refused to replace my burgers, I honestly would have been happy with just new buns on them as long as it had nothing on them. But he literally refused and kept repeating that he made them right. I am furious and will never go to that wendys ever again.Initial Complaint

My fiancee and my son and I went through the drive thru and upon getting home and sorting out the sandwiches,my fiancee discovered multiple hairs in the hamburger and our chicken nuggets were burnt to a crisp. I usually don't complain too much because I have worked fast food but this was ridiculous. My first job was actually the drive thru at a Wendy's store so I know how difficult it can be at times but not unsanitary.Initial Complaint

ON 9/5/2023 I PLACED A MOBILE ORDER FROM WENDY'S AND THE MONEY AS YOU CAN SEE WAS POSTED TO MY ACCOUNT. WHEN I GOT TO WENDY'S TO PICK UP MY ORDER I WAS TOLD THAT THEY DID NOT GET IT. I SHOWED THEM THE RECEIPT FROM MY PHONE AND THEY WOULD NOT HONOR IT EVEN THOUGH THEY COULD CLEARLY SEE THAT I ORDERED IT AND HAD A RECEIPT. I THEN PLACE THE ORDER AGAIN WHILE STANDING IN THE STORE SO MY GRANDKIDS COULD EAT AND WAS CHARGED AGAIN. I HAVE CONTACTED WENDY'S CUSTOMER CARE 3 TIMES ABOUT THIS AND NO ONE WANTS TO HANDLE THE SITUTATION. ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY BACK FOR PAYING FOR THE SAMETHING TWICE.Initial Complaint

The company Wendy's has an online ordering app, where in there is no option to cancel an order for an item in any capacity.
The companies app often relocates your location to where you last picked up an order.

On 6/15/23 I reached out to Wendy's restaurant when I found a ceramic item in my baconator fries order. I did not notice this item entering my mouth as the item has been covered in cheese sauce. When I was chewing is when I felt something hard between my teeth. It appeared to look like part of a ceramic bowl. I assume part of it fell in the cheese sauce. I called the restaurant and the male manager on would not listen/care about what I said. He explained to me that it was not in the fries as he was at the fry station. I explained what I ordered and explained to him it could of been in the cheese sauce. As I was getting nowhere with the manager, I reached out to customer service via email. The same day around 5pm. I got a response back the next business day from customer service ******* (Wendy's Customer Care Advocate) apologizing about my experience. This statement was also included in email "I have recorded the details of your experience in our system and have also shared them with the leadership in charge of this restaurant. One of the operators will reach out to you soon."
Till this day no one from Wendy's have contacted me. My mistake was not contacting the BOH due to this unsanitary and unsafe condition. I have photos of the ceramic piece, if pictures are needed.Initial Complaint

On Wednesday August 2nd, between 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm myself and my girlfriend were going through Athens Ohio, and stopped at Wendy's on State Street. Ordered a large fry, a Daves double, and large coke. As we were pulling out of the drive thru, onto the street, my girlfriend and i were munching fries, she spotted a cigarette butt in the fry. We turned around and went back, i walked inside and demanded the manager, and a refund. Showing them the fries. The lady replies that the manager isnt there but would call her. She comes back and says the managers husband says to take my name and number, and she would call me tomorrow. And no refund!!!!! The manager never called me, and i never got a refund!!!! A cigarette but, a lucky strike that looked as if it had been picked up off the ground after sitting out for a few weeks! I nearly ate the damn fries. It was all i could do not to puke. And to be treated as if i put the cigarette butt in the my own fries? I brought the sandwich back in with the fries, so it was like i was trying to get a free meal!!!! On July 15TH st 5;40 pm my husband and I went to the Wendy's at ***** * ****** *** ********* *** *****. The manager was rude. When we received our food from the drive thru window, we were missing our french fries. I advised the manager of this and she slammed the drive thru window and came back with our french fries. I asked her what her name was and she leaned out the drive thru window and said it was on her badge. I called Wendy's corporate number on July 19TH and was advised the District Manager named, ******* was going to call me. I have not received a call from the District Manager. I made a stop at one of the service areas in Maryland and I was trying to purchase food at the self service kiosk. I was attempting to make the payment with my credit card but the payment did not go through. I then tried three more times with different cards it did not go through. I ended up getting in the line to make the purchase. However, my cards were charged four times for the same amount of $30.43. Please refund me the amount of $121.72. This is definitely the most expensive Wendy’s I’ve ever had.
