1 starDO NOT BUY A MATTRESS AT MORRIS FURNITURE COMPANY!
I've been sleeping on the couch since Oct. and is January 2nd now. Told we could return a mattress as long as it is "within 30 days". Topic discussed "just in case" the new mattress irritated my hip issue. Reassured us that the mattress and base could be returned within 30 days. WRONG... is a one-time exchange, not a return & you need to wait 30 days before they will exchange it. We do exchange paperwork & the mattress never comes. Check online & the order is on hold. Why? They have no idea & correct it. The mattress still never comes. Why? There was an issue because items on the same order were discontinued while the order was on hold. They finally come. The delivery guys pick up the return mattress put the side on the floor slide it to the doorway and rotate it to get out the door. They then take pictures. I'm told they can't take it because there is dog hair on it. Well, yeah there's dog hair on the side dragged on the floor!!! All the other sides were clean. Doesn't matter. I'm told that I need to have it professionally cleaned then they will reschedule the delivery/pick-up. Going on month 3 without a mattress. ******* ******* came out 2 hrs later. Sent the invoice info to Morris customer services via email & on the phone w/rep. while the technician was on-site. He took pics & was not sure why it needed to be cleaned. He said he used to deliver mattresses & was just dumbfounded. He said it looked brand new. Of course, it did, I slept on it 4 hours before it hurt my hip then it was moved to a guest bedroom, covered with sheets, and not used. They wouldn't reschedule with me on the phone. Meanwhile, my husband went to the store. They called the third-party delivery company dispatch and told him they would reschedule the delivery/pickup as we didn't need it cleaned. Waiting on a call to reschedule that. Wonder if I'll ever get the mattress exchanged. BE WARNED-DON'T BUY A MATTRESS FROM MORRIS.Review fromHope G

1 starWARNING! WARNING! WARNING! DO NOT BUY FROM MORRIS FURNITURE. We paid over $5,000 CASH via debit card for a wade reclining sectional and chair BACK IN AUGUST, 2023. The sectional arrived BROKEN. We requested a refund or a reselect. Granted a reselect. It's been since late October/November, 2023 and the NEW FURNITURE was supposed to be here early December, 2023. WE STILL DON'T HAVE OUR RESELECT FURNITURE. It's been so very stressful. We even have a $585 credit coming back to us that they promised to mail us a check. NO SIGN OF THAT CREDIT REFUND CHECK. WHAT IS GOING ON!!!????
The only way to get responses from Morris Furniture is through the BBB, but when Morris responds due to pressure from the BBB, they lie. We've called the delivery warehouse to follow up re delivery date, and every single time we get a DIFFERENT STORY from the rep. There's one young lady named Ashley who is very rude, nasty, unprofessional, and should not be dealing with customers on any level. I don't know what's going on with Morris Furniture. This has by far been the worst experience we've ever had with purchasing furniture, and we're older people. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They don't care about their customers.
BBB, PLEASE HELP US! ALL WE WANT IS OUR FURNITURE OR A FULL REFUND. NO MORE DELAYS. We were told by Ashley at the delivery warehouse that our reselect order won't be in the warehouse until early January, 2024. 1 starOne star is way too generous! Too many errors, too many promises, lack of communication, too many trips to the store to try to remedy their errors. Nice staff but poor follow through! The GM, Travis D*****, was untruthful and in the end not willing to accommodate for our time, their errors and our frustration that we have incurred for over a year. 1 starPlease NOBODY buy furniture from Morris furniture. Truly the worst experience ever. Not only did it take over 6 month for my special order to be ordered because the "messed up the paperwork" and lied about phone calls to me. When my furniture arrived, I have been trying for 2 years to get it fixed. They contract with a company called SAW to repair your furniture, they send Morris the parts that need ordered then Morris can never get them ordered or delivered. After multiple phone calls to their team to try to get the issues fixed I get an email from their so call customer service rep Jocelyn. I uploaded pictures to her and after 7 emails no response. They got my money and I got there crappy furniture, and the joys of dealing with the incompetent staff that care nothing about customer service. One star is even to much.Review fromSandra H

1 starNot at all satisfied with this company. I sent them an email a few weeks ago about an over-aggressive salesperson at the Morse Road location. His approach was so upsetting that I went to their sister store (Polaris) to look for furniture. I never received a response (only the "automatic" recording) to my email. Then I purchased a sofa from the Polaris location. I went to the store to cancel the order more than two weeks ago. I was told that the manager was not available and that I would get a call from him later. To date, no call has been received. I then phoned the store (3x) after seven days to ask what the hold up was on me receiving my refund. I never got a person on the line; only the answering machine. And again, no response from the message I left. It has been more than 14 days as I write this. I missed out on two sofas between Black Friday and Cyber Monday (both had great holiday discounts) because my funds were tied up here. I should not have to chase them down to get my refund. I believe I have been fair in allotting them time to cover the holiday. There is NO WAY I would do business with this company. What a disappointment!!!Review fromHope G

1 starAugust 11, 2023 Morris Furniture delivered the Wade Reclining Leather Sectional. We paid in full a week earlier at the 2727 Fairfield Commons Blvd, Beavercreek, Oh 45431 location. Our salesman was Grant Jackson. Furniture was delivered in August, '23, but two pieces were damaged upon delivery. Called Morris who referred us to SAW Enterprises. Called Saw, scheduled our appt for Sept 18, 2023. Guy comes out, looked at furniture. Told us the part would arrive in a week, and to call them when the part arrives. A month passes, no part. Called SAW to find out the delay. A month later, in October, '23, we receive a call from SAW stating the technician failed to upload a photo of the part back in August, and could we take a photo and email it. My husband and I make a trip to Morris in Beavercreek, Oh where we purchased the furniture, spoke with Grant the salesman. We asked Grant if we could just exchange out the broken Wade Sectional furniture for a different set we saw in the store. Grant took down our information. Stated he would have Brenda the store manager give us a call the next day. We never received a call from Brenda. We called Grant a couple days later to follow up. We were told by another salesman that Grant was with a customer, but he'll have Grant call us back. Grant never called. On November 9th, 2023, my husband and I go to Morris again in Beavercreek, Oh. We were greeted by Travon, a salesman who told us to have a seat, that he had to finish up with two customers and he'd be right with us. We got to the store at 6:45 p.m. November 9th. Travon never helped us. We sat there patiently and watched him help three other customers, but never helped us. The store closes at 8:00. We waited patiently for an hour, and was never helped. At 7:55 p.m. my husband and I left the store. And here we are writing our complaint. We would like a full refund of $5,525.36 OR comparable exchange. Please HELP.Review fromHope G

1 starMorris Home Furniture and and Mattress Store at 1280 Gemini Place , Columbus, Ohio is shady and horrible customer service. I bought 4 beds and 3 mattresses from Ashley Furniture, a unit of theirs. A queen bed was delivered without any slats from August, 2023. As I enquired and asked when it will be delivered as I can’t use the bed without it. They gave me the run around and till today didn’t receive it. One of their Managers (Nick) said they can’t help much as the manufacturer is suppose to send it and declined to help any further. I will advise others to stay away from this unit which is terribly managed. They refuse to take the bed back and declined to refund.Review fromPhillip N

Do NOT Buy The Accident Warranty!! Ashley/Morris not only avoids accountability in standing behind their products and services, they also lead you on (in writing) with refund promises, but does not deliver. We are now being forced to evaluate legal options to get our warranty refund, as advertised in the email that we received from Ashley Furniture.Review fromDanielle C

1 starThey are false advertising. The better sleep store advertising if you’re not satisfied within 90 days you may Re select. Absolutely false advertising. I purchased a sleep number package from them went through their so called Re-selection only to be told the bed I purchased cannot be returned. It is the worst mattress I have ever slept on in my entire life and this company should either make a better product or quit making this one. The salesman did not disclose this particular Matt could not be returned. The delivery process is bad. Morris Home Furniture I would not recommend to anyone.
