      We recently purchased a full set of appliances. From the beginning upon plugging the refrigerator in - it began beeping and not functioning correctly. We attempted to call big Sandy’s store and did not receive a phone call back for several days. My husband called ********** who sent out a repairman. That repairman ordered a part put it on and it did not work. Finally my husband spoke to customer service at big Sandy’s to which he was basically told that once the appliance is in your home it becomes your problem. And they don’t just bring you a new one (which I thought was the case when we purchased a brand new refrigerator). We purchased this refrigerator package on 11/28 delivered the 29. And it is the 14th of December and I still do not have a working refrigerator. Big Sandy’s sent out their repairman who stated he would tell them he could not fix this and we needed a new refrigerator, he was here today the 14th. After he left I called and was told we would have to wait for the tech notes to be in and they have no timeline on when we will have a working refrigerator. The rep I spoke to was not very nice about it and did not care that we don’t have a refrigerator that works. I would never purchase anything from this company again. Mind you we also purchased extended warranties that are probably worthless. This is not good business to leave a new customer who purchases new appliances for two weeks without a working refrigerator. If I could give zero stars I would.

      We purchased a $3500 couch and the 5yr warranty 11 months ago in Dublin Ohio. 3 months later our recliner stopped working. They've extended the date in August and then in October for delivering the part for repair. I've now been waiting on a repair part and service guy to install for 7 months now. The end recliner has not been able to be used because of it basically since we got it. I called customer service today after being sick of being patient and demanded a date for repair. I was told there's "nothing you can do about it" and "you'll just have to wait". Now it's December 7th and they're quoting me another 2-6 weeks more for delivery. The best advice would be to NEVER BUY FROM THIS RETAILER! Go somewhere else affordable to buy furniture. There's quite a few places in Columbus with ethical business practices and quality furniture. Companies like this drag out honoring a customer's warranty so that they spend as few dollars as possible on a customer and especially a poorly made product. These practices are illegal and shows this company has zero integrity. Try ***** **** or ******* There's other furniture stores that have very comparable prices although the outside might look fancy. Just stay away from this place. You'll thank me later.

      I recently made a significant purchase of nine appliances from Big Sandy on October 19, 2023, and the entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the delayed inspection to a botched delivery and incompetent customer service, my patience has been stretched to its limits. The trouble began when the inspection date, initially set for November 2, was followed by a prolonged wait for a delivery date. After numerous calls, I was finally given a delivery date of November 21. My occupancy permit was contingent on the installation of a hood, so I scheduled an inspection for November 22. On the scheduled delivery day, I took a day off, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the appliances. To my dismay, at 2 pm, I was informed by Tracy, the lead customer service representative, that the delivery would be delayed, canceled, and rescheduled for November 22. Despite my urgent plea for same-day installation, Tracy proceeded to cancel the service without even consulting the delivery personnel. To make matters worse, the delivery team arrived at 2:30 pm on November 21, but due to Tracy's mismanagement, they couldn't make the delivery. The next day, the delivery team finally arrived, only to botch the hood installation. This led to the denial of my occupancy permit, putting me in an incredibly precarious situation. Shockingly, the personnel while doing the inspection for Big Sandy, failed to notice that the hood ordered was for a 9-foot ceiling, while my house had a 10-foot ceiling. Even when the appliances finally arrived on November 30, the installation was far from satisfactory. One of the hoods had a loose screw and causing loud noises. To add insult to injury, one hood never reached the ceiling. I will have to pay out pocket to fix it. In total, I paid $1117 for installation, inspection, and delivery fees, and the level of service received was abysmal. I regret ever choosing Big Sandy Appliances and strongly advise others against doing the same.

      We bought two couches from there they have been out 4 times in it the said the would replace it but the couches are discontinued and we only get a 299 credit so now there is nothing in the store for 299 this couch ripped my granddaughters hand wide open I sent pictures and everything and they don't give a **** so I am trying to figure out how to take them to court can someone help me

      Big Sandy is somewhere I wont shop at again. I found my couch 1500 dollars cheaper and they would not honor the price so I went to coconis furniture and had great service. another thing is I wanted to buy a dishwasher with my 400 dollar gift card but you can not use them on appliances but if I did buy one I would get a $100 gift card, what a joke. so the gift card I have is pointless for me because I am not going to go in there just to use it on something I don't want.

      Dont waste your time or money. Spent $6000 on leather section, ottoman and recliner. Was supposed to have the recliner in 2 weeks and then told it be January, 2 months late. The ottoman, ($750), had no padding on corners and started to sag after 1 week. After complaining they finally sent someone out. He said they dont put much padding on the corners and it is not made for sitting on. REALLY!Been waiting for almost 3 weeks and after calling finally got repair scheduled. They could not give an approximate time just that it would be Thursday. They expect you to spend your whole day waiting on them. Never again will I grace their door.

      Gift card program is a joke. Nobody knows how to activate them. Right now, sales person remembers seeing us, invoice still shows $200. Not efficient at all. So far taken an hour to find the information needed to pick it up

      Well today we were supposed to get a dishwasher and sectional couch delivered. We were very pleased with our purchase of over $2300. Big Sandy’s guaranteed a four hour window for delivery and we would be texted when this was. When we didn’t get that text as to when our payed furniture was up for delivery the woman for delivery set up had us for pickup and was very rude and didn’t care about us or our order. We called the ***** Heights store where we ordered and did apologize that this happened but still no furniture or dishwasher will be delivered. They said that they could do it on a Monday but no specific time. I explained that my wife has to go to dialysis in the morning but we would be there by noon and after. They said that they could not guarantee afternoon delivery so we decided to cancel the orders. This was clearly their fault and problem. I also mentioned we would not buy from there in the future or recommend them to any of our friends or family and she said that I was being mean. Needless to say I fulfilled my obligations by paying in full for my order but they were in breach of contract by not fulfilling their end of the deal. This is my opinion only but I will not ever buy from them ever nor would I recommend them in any way. It is a shame as I now have given away our living room chairs and couch and don’t have a replacement due to no reason or rhyme. Lucky for us we can always get furniture from somewhere else but their company which is employee owned will now lose a customer due to neglect on their part. As a army veteran, I feel betrayed but that is how they do business.

      Big Sandy's in mount plesant mich is horrible my husband bought a leather couch and recliner a year and half they have been out twice to re stuff which they cut into the couch and then sewed it he paid **** now the couch is sinking and the recliner is sinking he called today and she told him the warranty ran out in June so they won't do anything this furniture looks like it's ten years old and it wasent cheap not happy

      I bought a Cali king mattress from big Sandy’s superstore in Reynoldsburg Ohio right off of 256. this bed was 2 grand and was supposed to be really firm. I think we received the mattress on a Wednesday and wanted to return it by the next Monday. When I called to see the return policy the lady I talked to was very rude and said we only had three days to return it from delivery and I’m stuck with the mattress. Within a week the mattress has dipped down where I sleep and my girlfriend sleeps and there’s a hump in the middle of the bed making it really uncomfortable to sleep after this is payed off we’re planning to buy another bed from somewhere else fare warning to new customers. Very disappointed and wished I they would have told me about the their policy so I could’ve took my business else where never again would we shop at this store
