      I will never again buy from Big Sandy. Customer Service is horrible! Never again!!!! Who delivers a couch with no legs and tells the customer sorry?

      I bought furniture from Big Sandy in early May 2023. There was a misunderstanding on the delivery date & when it didn't arrive on the day I expected it, I called the store to find out when it would be here, only to find out it would be approximately another month or so. The next day I went back to the store to cancel my order & get my money back! My salesman was off for the next 2 days, so I ask for the store manager. James P****** introduced himself as store manager, & how could he help? I explained the problem with him & wanted my money back. I took my sister along as a witness to what was said, in case I was going to have a problem. James immediately said he would refund my money, but ask if he could explain what the confusion was first. I agreed, & James completely explained the situation to my satisfaction, & I went ahead with my order. James has tremendous people skills, & my sister & I both were so impressed with his honesty, my sister bought a spare bedroom set from him, & while she was doing that I found 2 recliners that I liked, & bought them! I went to the store expecting to cancel my order, & due completely to James explanation, courtesy, & people skills, ended up buying more furniture. I can't speak to the quality of the furniture as it to early to tell yet, but because of the way I was treated from James, instead of losing business, he sold more product. I certainly hope the Big Sandy upper management realize what a great asset James is to their business, & he is compensated accordingly. Kudos to James, he is a very nice guy! *** **

      If I could give negative stars I would. I use to talk Big Sandy's up as when i purchased a refrigerator from them in store my experience was wonderful. With that note, why give negative stars, well I have had my fridge for almost 3 years, my warranty runs out here on September 8th. I started having issues with my fridge back on June 19th of it not cooling down. Since then I have had a tech out 5 times. There wanting to send out a 6th tech for what reason, its beyond me. I recently since August 5th have been getting the run around from Big Sandy as to what is going on with the process. They are stating the hold up is *** when I call ** they have nothing on file for me. As I feel like they are just trying to run my warranty out before I will get another fridge or even answers. I highly recommend not purchasing ** products and not shop at Big Sandy cause customer service *****. Save yourself the trouble, so elsewhere.

      My couch came damaged. Their were supposed to remove my old couch from the house. They did not and refused to come back to do it.

      I wish we would have held off on purchasing a kitchen appliance set from this business. The appliances were delivered but the technicians did not ensure there was power to the dishwasher or the refrigerator. I was able to get the dishwasher issue resolved on my own but the refrigerator was the biggest issue. We bought the ******* ******* package so there was a family hub screen on the door. Without power to the screen, we are not able to adjust the refrigerator or freezer temperatures. I am completely frustrated with the lack of customer service. The technicians left without ensuring the screen was powered and seemed to be in a hurry stating “it had been a very long day” and “we have more installations to complete.” The delivery was made late in the evening on Friday so I called the next morning to try and have the issue resolved. They told me there was nothing they could do until Monday. We are having a lot of people over Saturday afternoon and now we are out a refrigerator all because the installation was done incorrectly. I have been a long time customer of Big Sandy’s but will no longer purchase anything from them because of this experience. I don’t feel valued as a long time customer. I may even just return the entire package to avoid any headaches with customer service in the future.

      DO NOT BUY MATTRESSES FROM BIG SANDYS!! They should change name to Big Liars! I bought mattresses in December. They started breaking down in May. I called as they are "under warranty " The joke is on me, over $3,000 worth of jokes. A big guy came out, laid on the mattresses, took pictures and agreed they rolled to one side, both of them. I later received a message that no problem was found. Please don't be fooled. They are not honest They get 0 stars from me! I have warned everyone I know and will continue to do so! I will call every 30 days until issue is resolved!

      Our washer/dryer combo purchased in Ashland, Ky was purchased with the extended warranty. It has been broken since May of this year. They have been here 7 times and replaced the mother board 5 times and the wiring harness twice. The machine shows electrical burns on the wiring and flips my breaker. It’s obviously a safety concern. Big Sandy has refuses to replace it. They are sending repairmen now for the 8th time. They have said a supervisor will review the claim and call me. I’ve been told that 3 times and no one has ever called. I get a different answer from everyone I speak to and no one will take ownership to see that my issue is resolved. As a disabled person, doing laundry is hard enough without having to go outside my home to be take care of it. No one at Big Sandy seems to care that this machine could cause a fire or is willing to stand behind their product or their warranty. Every appliance and piece of furniture in our house is from there. We will never from there again.

      We purchased a whole house furniture from Big Sandy Chas Wv When we received the first delivery numerous items were damaged or didn’t work We waited 3 months on our bed from the manufacturer Customer service was horrible after this experience won’t buy from them ever again 7/15/23

      BUYER BEWARE! Promises made and promises broken with this company. Earned Rebates denied, gift cards deemed unusable when expecting to use on another expensive purchase! All after the purchases of a king *******pedic mattress and Ergo frame, two couches, a recliner, a dishwasher and a stove within the last two years. JUST DONE!!! No further recommendations to friends for this company! Recently purchased a freezer from someone else because obviously good customers are not of any value to Big Sandy!

      7/4/23 - My wife and I purchased a ** kitchen package (gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refigerator) from the Big Sandy Super Store, Polaris, location. On the initial delivery of our new appliances, they (Big Sandy) delivered an electric stove, when we had purchased a gas stove. Big Sandy made it right, but it was a hassle for us. We had purchased some family room furniture from them previously and had a reasonably good experience, so that's why went back there to purchase appliances. That was a huge mistake!I've determined that ** stand's for LIKE GARBAGE. We got rid of our functioning, ******* appliances, because they were starting to get some age on them. All of the Kenmore appliances had worked flawlessly from their date of purchase, which had been over 20 years for the fridge and the stove. Conversely, we have had nothing but problems with all 5 pieces of the new, ** appliances that we purchased from Big Sandy. Our dishwasher is not even working at the moment. When my wife called to find out where the parts were for the dishwasher from the previous service call, Big Sandys' service department had no record of the parts needed for the repair. I would gladly trade our new appliances back for our previous, 20 year old appliances if I could and then get rid of this garbage that we currently have. I will never purchase another ** appliance, again. As for Big Sandy's service department, I am not impressed. **** R ********, ****
