      The company continues to accept online orders even though they dont have the ability to fulfill the orders in a timely fashion. Placed an order on December 6th and to date (12-21-23). The order hasnt shipped., I realize its the holiday. I would have simply cancelled the online order and went to a local Joann to buy it. However, they dont provide the option for you to cancel your online order. Thats not cool because they literally have my money, but I dont have my items that I purchased.

      I placed an order November 25, 2023 and it took 2.5 weeks for my order to arrive. The items arrived damaged and are unusable. I've been trying to reach out to customer support for a solution for a week and have not heard back. I'm not able to reach a rep by phone (1.5-2+ hour wait times), and my email including 5 photos of damages that was sent over a week ago has also gone unanswered. I've sent another email since then but they aren't responding.

      I bought some items from the Joann’s Fabric and Craft store online on November 23. They’re so backed up on processing orders that I’ve only received half my order. It’s been almost a month. Today is December 20th. I’ve requested a cancellation on the rest of my order. They will not do it. They say they cannot cancel submitted orders. Customer service won’t cooperate and keep sending me automated responses when they don’t want to reply personally. So my order is in Processing Purgatory, never knowing when it will be processed. I’m not interested in the order any more. I just want a cancellation. They are determined to keep money and keep customers waiting for an unknown time. It could well be months before anything happens. Sad thing is, there are so many others online who have posted online about being in the same situation. This is unprofessional business. I’m definitely not ordering online from them ever again.

      I have placed 5 orders in the past week trying to get yarn that I need, I drove an hour away even for a pick up order only to find out when I got there they had only 3 of the 19 skeins that I wanted to say I was ****ed was an understatement when I had already tried to find it at my neary store they were out so I ordered online after a week I see that 3 items out of 16 are shipped and they don't just cancel an order when that happens they make you wait for all of your yarn to get to you so your money can be tied up for a long time with holds on your bank account/card. And you cannot just cancle the rest of your order which is insane you should be allowed to order deciding it is taking way too long and move on. It says on the website 6-10 business days to receive package if that is true it should be the entire thing or they need to put 2-3 weeks processing/ shipp time if they are going to operate a business like this

      I placed an order on 11/26. This order was for Christmas. I also placed an order with ******** the same day, and received my ******** order 4 days later. I have yet to hear any updates on my JoAnns order. They say their system is automated and they cant cancel my order for a refund. They keep making posts on their social media about the products they are selling, will respond to the FEW positive comments people are leaving, but ignoring the comments from their beyond frustrated customers. I have NEVER experienced this lack of service/customer service from any company. I just want my money back. Horrible company.

      Ordered 2 items online on 12/10/23 nothing has shipped as of 12/19/23 and I get no response to emails or phone calls. They were going to be Christmas presents and since the store now has my money and my items I can't go out and buy anything else. I 100% believe if my items ever get shipped it will be after Christmas and I will no longer need it. Tried to cancel but can't. "6-10 days shipping" the site says. I either want my items or a refund this is getting ridiculous.

      I ordered *Christmas decorations* online on November 21st and have not even shipped yet. Joann's shipping and fulfillment model is very inefficient and borderline nonsensical. Instead of having warehouses, they ship your items from local stores. So local stores with only a couple employees will have 2000-3000+ online orders waiting to be fulfilled in addition to the normal employee duties at the store. All of the items I am waiting on are out of stock now yet I cannot cancel. They hold my money hostage until eventually some poor underpaid employee attempts to fulfil my order, realizes it is out of stock, and manually cancels it. Yet they cannot cancel orders because their system is "automated." This does not sound like an automated system to me, it sounds like the stone age of online business. One item was cancelled so far and I never even received a notification about it. They should not be able to put a hold on your card for the full amount then take this long to even ship it, and not allow me to cancel items before things ship. Other legit companies will only charge once an item ships, and most of the time you can cancel before it ships. There are hundreds of people online complaining about my exact concern as well, and any employee can probably corroborate.

      I placed an order on 11/25, its still processing. It has been 23 days I called 3 times, told someone would reach out and I could cancel after 10 days. I have emailed a total of 5 times Nobody reached out but automated email I ordered Christmas decorations, its 12/18/23 I already went to Michaels and purchased I then received Christmas ornaments hooks last week saying that my order is still processing I went to store they said they cant do anything I NEVER have wasted more time on something so simple I even had a panic attack after I left the store I called Joann.com today to tell them to get it out of the system and it hangs up on you, saying theyre too busy for calls email This is crazy

      I placed an online order that has not shipped 8 days later and they will not cancel it. I do not see anything on their site that states online orders cannot be canceled. All they say is to return it once I receive it. And then I'll be out the cost of shipping. I do not recommend any online orders from them.

      placed an online order 11/27/23, 5 items totaling $13.89. I’ve received two of the items at this point, three of them still say processing. What’s really upsetting (beyond the terrible customer service and lack of a heads up prior to ordering online..) is the fact that they are sending me these items one at a time. An order totaling $13.89… 5 small and inexpensive items… wrapping paper, a Christmas wall decor item, a pack of gift labels, an ornament and a pack of tissue paper… I was charged on the 28th for the 13.89… now I can individually see the items coming out of my bank account instead (2.22, 1.57…etc.) as they are being shipped. They haven’t double charged me, but I definitely wouldn’t have ordered through them, had I known this would be the case. Luckily I was just trying to get some last minute items for cheap on cyber Monday, and didn’t spend a lot of money because if I were some of these other people who have spent hundreds of dollars on yarn or other things, expecting it to arrive by Christmas and ALL of this is happening?!! Your customers are what keep your business running. Terrible way to operate. Seems like they shouldn’t have an online store at all if they clearly can’t fulfill the orders. All of these reviews are saying the same thing(s) and that’s very telling.
