      I filed a claim over a month ago. Cannot get claim rep to call me back and no adjuster has been sent to look at the damage. I have left numerous messages with claim rep. I have called customer service with no resolution and have been transferred to the same rep that will not return my calls. I feel like I am being scammed by this company.

      On 7/15/2022 while on my way to work I was hit by a Progressive customer. According to the accident report, he disregarded a stop sign. The was another vehicle turning blocking the view of both of us. Instead of waiting until the other vehicle was completely out of the way, the man that hit me must have pulled out pretty fast before the other car was gone. I could not see him and he could not see me. When I first knew of him it was too late. He hit me so hard I went spinning around on h road one direction and then another fearing for my life afraid I would never get stopped! There were many skid marks made from my car trying to get stopped. As I said previously, the accident happened 7/15/2022, car finally taken to shop 8/24/2022, didn't get a rental until 9/8/2022. All this time I had to depend on friends and co-workers to get to work. Now, I return the rental tomorrow but I am having to pay for the rental car insurance. When I called the Progressive agent today and asked him why I had to pay for it he said, "it is your choice" to purchase the insurance and they will not pay for the insurance on the rental car. I asked why since none of this was my fault and was told they just don't do that. I am sorry, when you are hit by another driver, no fault of your own, you shouldn't have to pay for ANYTHING!!!!!

      The service that was given to me was very unsatisfying didn't expect to be talked to or handed as such now I'm without insurance and all I wanted was to reinstated my policy. It was good being a customer for two years but idk who to trust now.

      Declined to reinstate home owners policy. First
      off, I have a credit score over 800, retired and
      never had an issue w insurance. After obtaining a
      policy with Progressive one attempt was made to
      take pictures. Person showed up at my gate
      without any notice and called and left a message.
      I wasn’t home and when I called back, he said
      he’s not there now and abruptly hung up on me. I
      sent an email to Progressive to let them know
      what happened. No response. Fast forward, I
      received a notice from my mortgage company
      that I did not have insurance. I called progressive
      and they stated that I needed to reinstate and the
      reason was I did not provide photos. They said to
      send photos immediately and sign a no loss
      statement, which I did same day. A few days went
      by with no notification that I was reinstated, so I
      called back. They said that I should of filled out a
      disclosure form with the last agent which was not
      done. I had no idea. The agent then said the
      photos I sent had a dog in the photo and because
      of the dog the underwriter would Not reinstate because I didn’t disclose him. I
      said that no one ever asked about a dog and I
      wouldn’t lie about having one. I’ve owned houses
      for over 30 years and always had dogs and never
      had any problems. This experience has been the
      strangest I’ve experienced dealing with an
      insurance company. Not only have I lost the
      insure, my rates will go up on my auto due to not
      having a bundle anymore. I was a new customer
      with Progressive Insurance and tried to save
      money but will be going back to my previous
      insurance now. Seeing how they handled this
      situation, I can’t imagine if I had a claim. Worst
      experience ever.

      One of progressive customers driving a Range Rover hit me on the expressway shoved me into another Range Rover caused damage underneath and front and rear damage Progressive fix the outside of my car made it look back good but underneath something was broken and they refuse to fix it and telling me now it's wear and tear suspension work needs to be done and that I'm responsible they also had my car in the shop for weeks at a time and my car sounds raggedy as hell now

      I have to give a star when they get Zero stars for me. I've been with progressive since 2002, never in all the time I've been with them had any accident, had any issues until now. My Land Rover had an issue that pretty much destroyed the engine. Land Rover was so kindly saying this is not your fault and no way this can happen from a ware and tear. Then when I filed a claim with progressive.. they ended up denying my claim saying that I had to fix it out of my pocket. Mind you again I never had any issues with have any accidents, I'm on the crown I'm progressive and have been with them for 20 years.. all that money I gave to them and now that I had to use this to fix something that almost blew up with my kids inside the car.. and they are gonna say it's my responsibility to pay for this and insurance isn't. Unless what I get into a car accident or what, the car goes in flames with me and the kids inside. Then they will pay!! So unfair. I have home, auto and umbrella with them and now.. im saying good bye to all of progressive and will keep on telling everyone else. Shame shame on progressive insurance.. Flo wish you the best!!!

      I chose to use Progressive Insurance for my auto coverage. That was a mistake!!! On September 7 I was hit by somebody running a red light, wrecking my 2008 Dodge Charger. I spent most of the next day in the ER, but when I was finally able to reach out to Progressive to start the claims process, it still took 4 more days for Progressive to contact me. And that was only to tell me that they aren't going to deal with my claim, that I needed to contact the driver who ran the red lights insurance. When I asked if they could tell me what all I needed to do, the agent wouldn't give me any advice or help except to keep telling me that I needed to go through State Farm. After a brief period of figuring out what was going on, State Farm was a huge help and they are helping me get everything resolved. Needless to say, once I have a car again, I will be moving to another, more customer friendly insurance carrier. This is my first wreck, I wasn't at fault, and Progressive wouldn't help their customer.

      After paying our premium once in a direct payment from our bank account we had a check mailed to them that she said would be held and not deposited. Well they cashed it anyway and now we're out the money for our premium twice. Absolutely no help and now we wait two weeks before they mail a check back to us. Can't put it back in bank account but can take it. Stupid..

      Progressive is a horrible company. On 5/14/2022 their driver hit my car from behind on the freeway. My car was totaled and my daughter and suffered severe injuries. If not for our own car insurance we’d be in financial trouble. I used all of my sick leave, and some annual. My daughter lost out on last few weeks of school and her dance recital. Instead of a simmer of fun we spent it at doctors appointments. I was unatto cook and had to charge food on my credit card. After 7 weeks of no response from progressive I called them. Yes you read that right. I called them. It has now been over four months. I’ve maxed out my credit cards, lost most of my leave had a major surgery and still nothing. My daughters care ended two months ago. I had to get the records for the claims rep. Yes, you read that right again. She only got bills the first go around and now needed to request the records. What?????? I told her I didn’t want to get a lawyer but would if I this kept up. She told me to give the lawyer her contact Info.

      Progressive auto insurance adjuster (in Florida) is worst. Complicate the claims process and dragging the claim for a while. Not helpful for the client who affected and making their life terrible. I am totally unhappy with the company and the claim process adding additional pain.
