      Paid my bill over a 3 years ago and it went to a collection agency. Little over a year ago I had this taken care of and still shows on my credit report keeping me from getting a job. so I paid it again really need the job. This has happened to me more than once with progressive. Them making charges saying they cleared them but showing up latter on credit reports. Each time i have had to do my own research to clear the bill.

      God for bet if u get very ill and u missed a payment and your insurance lapse with progressive you will get band from them . They will not except that I payed them a great deal of money in the past I feel like they take but if something happens you will get banned from them I ask them why all they said u missed a payment I told them I got very ill but told me to move on very bad consumer service and don't follow policies I will be looking into a lawsuit for false claims and lies about policies

      That insurance won’t pay the shop bill for a claim only what they want To pay. They want to put cheap parts on a 2022 durango RT. The body shop has a quote of $4500 and they only want to pay $2400 plus the deductible which is $1,000 so I’d get $1,400 to fix my truck. When I first got insured with them they quoted me a monthly rate of around $150 full coverage and they have been increasing my monthly rate up to $210 for no reason. I will never use this company ever again. They are a-bunch of clowns. And this incident was while my vehicle was parked at a park basically a hit and run. They also tried blaming me that I hit something. They do everything in their power to not pay. I’m disgusted by progressive!

      0ver a 6 month, insurance policy payment plan, with progressive insurance, my monthly payments have Increased 4 Times,from $150..per month to..207 .in fact it went up 25 dollars, I called the Insurance company Agent, they had no Answers..this Insurance company is-ripping CONSUMERS off. ..

      I have been with progressive for 18 years and without warning they increased and drafted from my bank account more than double what I was paying a month for 2 drivers. They sent me my new policy with declaration page and draft payments to be made on the same day they drafted the payment. I was never given the opportunity to approve or disapprove. All they could say is you live in an expensive state and that’s our rate. HORRIBLE customer service and after years of loyalty to them and “emerald” status I will move on as it is clear they don’t care about their consumers!!

      I wish it was possible to give a zero I would. Progressive just added a person that I worked with two years ago to my policy without my authorization. Then they are requiring documentation to have a person I never gave authorization to be added to my policy in order to remove them. The backdated my policy and are using that as justification to not refund the $208 payment I just made. Told me I would get $15 back I have not missed a payment the personal are totally not equipped to answer any questions about the underhanded behavior and I still have no idea under what law they say they have justification to add a driver to my policy without my permission.

      Progressive Insurance has no customer appreciation or concern. Below are the unethical tactics I have experienced:
      1) my twins turned 16, not driving yet but were added to my insurance policy without my consent - raising my premiums by 200%. I called and questioned and they said since they are driving age they are automatically requiring they be added to my policy.
      2) Bought a newer used car and mirrors by current policy. Progressive at a renewal dropped full glass on my newer vehicle. I called to add and state why did they drop my glass, said error and added on. I filed a claim for windshield due to a crack. Progressive representative called me and interrogated me on why I filed a glass claim a few days after adding glass. I explained it should be same policy for both cars and I called to ensure glass like other vehicle was added and yes I made a claim because I had a crack. Guy questioned me like a criminal for a cracked windshield.
      Price gouged and treated very poorly.

      Worst company ! I was involved in a motorcycle accident that was 100% their insureds fault (illegal U turn on a 2 way road during rush hour) ... even stipulated he was 100% at fault by the police in the accident report ! I had just bought this motorcycle and had owned it 1 hr before the accident !
      Progressive has been nothing but aloof and callous during the entire process ... low balling me on the totaled vehicle reimbursement ... not answering emails ... refusing to pay title costs ... still trying to get them to pay my medical expenses as well .
      I received numerous lacerations , tendon and ligament damage, soft tissue bruising , deep bone bruising , as well as a concussion and a head injury ! Progressive has treated me like I'm the one who caused the accident . Progressive is just another blood sucking corporation that needs to be black listed by Americans !!!
      If I could rate negative stars I would ! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!! THEIR REPUTATION AFTER 1 GOOGLE SEARCH SPEAKS FOR ITSELF ! HORRIBLE COMPANY !!!

      Such an unprofessional company and I'm sad I did not leave their company sooner. If you are looking for an insurance company that will take care of their customers, you are looking in the wrong direction! If Jennifer Phelps is the agent assigned to your accident claim, you will never be able to get in touch with her as she NEVER answers any phone calls or returns any calls. In one month, I called her a total of 27 times to get an update on my claim, I only spoke to her 3 times and was never given a solution. On February 2nd 2022, I spoke to Briana from their claims department who insured me that they would do further investigation in my claim, this was NEVER done. I was assured that they would reach out to the shop, they said they would gather my phone calls, but none of this was done. I had two different adjusters in my case and I was never contacted by either of them. Jennifer never noted the additional damages on my claim so they refused to cover it. I ended up paying out of my pocket when I was the one that was rear ended. What is the point of being insured with this company when you end up paying more? Here to warn customers to NOT make the same mistake I made and go with a company that will actually help you.

      Do not get hit by someone with this freaking horrible insurance! They do not return calls. To date, I have 4 unreturned calls from 3 different people. They will run you in circles hoping you drop the case.
      My car was hit and the owner has progressive. I do not.
      There are NO progressives within 3 hours from where I live.
      I was told to take the car to the shop and get a quite. I did so and faxed it to them.
      They then told me I had to take the car to the shop and their adjuster had to drive over and see it in the shop.
      Then I was told to take pictures and upload them to some site.
      At that time they cut me a check for 1/3 the repair cost and closed my case.
      I repeatedly tried to make contact but they refuse to respond.
      I do not have enough money to fix my car now.
      This is the absolute worst experience ever and I will gladly share this with the freaking world! No one should be subjected to this kind of treatment.
