I have already shared my experience last year via Google Review, as well as reaching out to their investors/parent company, but I have had zero contact back or resolutions. I lived at Wellington Place for 3 years, and I have never had such a bad experience with a property management team as this.
I have photos upon photos, screenshots, emails, other residents/previous renters and so much more as proof of their horrendous operations.
Not only is it mismanaged and dysfunctional, but dangerous and overpriced.
Without getting too detailed, I just want to warn anybody who may be thinking of this place to make a home - don’t! If you are a hard-working, loyal, and kept-together and clean resident, don’t waste your money, time, and energy. They will scam you, do very shady things such as not put things in writing even when asking for it, and no one deserves that.

They have taken so many of our homes and just ruined it for all of us. They took over our property at Carmel Center Apartments December 1st of 2023 and since then it's been all downhill.
I don't even know where to begin. All I know is I don't suggest this to anyone. And as tenants we will fight to not let them destroy our homes..

Reached out to Connor Group to file a complaint on a property I live in. Cuatomer service team refused to speak with me and wont respond to my emails. My apartment complex is in shambles. Do some research on your apartment complex before signing the lease. Connor Group is not the one to spend your hard earned money on

You DO NOT want to live here. Do research on the management company “The Connor Group”. There is so much more I can say, but I’m out of room.
In January we were told that we were due for our annual walkthrough. She came into our apartment, but did not perform the walkthrough. Instead she asked us if we were ready to sign our lease extension, to which we immediately told her that we would not be signing since we had 5 months until the end of the lease and were not even sure we were staying in Louisville. She threatened us that if we did not sign that evening she would rent it to someone on the 38-person waitlist. She also told us about a new program they have where we can get out of the lease by finding the next tenants. She told us that people who posted their apartments on Facebook Marketplace found multiple people that same day to take over their lease. Even with our repeated attempts to shut down the situation by reiterating our disinterest in making such a big decision this early and under pressure, she wouldn’t stop pushing us. Under the intense pressure and the false conception that we had the flexibility to leave when we wanted, we made the horrible mistake of signing.
I went in person to talk with the property manager and got a meeting scheduled with her when the lady from the night before came and found me. She asked why I was there, so I told her that I had a meeting scheduled with the property manager. She told me that the manager was no longer going to meet with me. After telling her that I planned to stay for the meeting she yelled at me to leave. The property manager still will not speak with me.
They refuse to talk with us on breaking the lease. If we want out, they claim they need payment the remaining 13 months rent and their associated fees. We will continue to find every possible way to tell people about our experience with the Paddock at Eastpoint so others don’t have to experience the emotional and financial trauma we have endured.

My name is Gregg L****** and I lived at *** ********** *** ** ************ ** ***** *** Dock Street Flats (DSF) in *** *** from 11/14/18-3/14/24. Laramar Group (LG) sold the property to The Connor Group (TCG) in the Fall of 2022.
DSF has the best location of any apartment in Minneapolis, which was the primary reason I continued to renew my lease there for over half a decade. I loved every part of living at DSF until the Fall of 2022.
This review aims to strongly discourage prospective customers from giving their hard-earned money to the soulless corporation that is TCG.
Not to get political, but I love capitalism. I fully understand that the 1,947 days I spent at DSF were in a commercially owned apartment that while at times felt like my home, never actually was. My relationship with LG and TCG was part of a business transaction. However, it’s shocking how poorly TCG treats its customers.
At the time of posting this review, TCG has a rating of 1.05/5 stars with 108 total reviews. I can’t speak for any other locations owned by TCG, but there are two reviews on this page by Alex E and Michael S that talk about their time at DSF. While I didn’t witness everything mentioned in those reviews, based on my time spent as a customer of TCG I believe every word of them.
TCG is a company that uses lies in its business practices to pressure customers and prospective customers into signing leases. The other two reviews mention something almost identical to what I experienced.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Let me start off by saying the application fee for the apartment was 459$. I've never heard of such a high application fee. That was already a red flag. But I applied because I was running out of time on looking for a new home. Secondly, after signing the application, the woman that was helping me, Lindsey, told me pretty much that if I got approved that counted as me signing the lease and the apartment was automatically mine and there were no take backs. Like if saying I didn't have a choice after getting approved in the application. Then I got called 3 days later and they very rudely told me after running my credit I was not accepted. It was a real short, dry conversation. Please stay away from this complex. They are scammers and just want to take your money. Also while I was in their office a current tenant walked in and was complaining about her rent going up with no warning and it wasn't even the beginning of a new lease for her. Terrible customer service. They're all very rude in the office.

I was mislead by the people at this company. The customer service is horrible if you're applying for the approach at summit park. I was lied to about the apartment that was available by Katie. She set an appointment with me to have me come in and see the the apartment alley the Goddard and when I arrived she wasn't there some other strange person was there and told me that there was nothing available in that price range only the unit for $2800. I explained that Katie told me to come in to see the one that was that price and she had one available. The girl told me there was nothing she could do and got up and walked away like she didn't care. This is the most unprofessional and humiliating experience I've ever had. They do not know how to treat potential tenants and are very rude liars. I wasted my time coming up there and I feel this was done purposely to discriminate against me for not letting them pressure into renting a place from them. I was also threatened by the lady in the front that if I call back or come up there then she is going to file a harassment or trespassing charge against me. This is not how a future resident should be treated!

Horrible group of people that play with the livelihoods of human beings. Let me start off by saying this - if you are a landlord, you have a huge, huge expectation to see to your residents. To help them out. To ensure that their problems in life come from anywhere else besides their housing. In my one year with the Connor Group, my experience was so far on the negative end of that scale, it can’t be put into words.
After signing (which apparently happens when you sign the APPLICATION), they hiked my security deposit by $2000 and claimed it was all good. My lawyer took care of that thankfully, but soon after moving in it was issue after issue. Mold for months. Dryer for months. Broken hallway door forever. Garage doors never working once the entire year (I paid $150 a month to have a spot in that garage, like what). 20 touch points on my end with the leasing office begging them to fix things being told each and everytime that they would fix everything, only to never hear from them. Took 6 months for a competent property manager to come in who by all accounts was going against the way of tCG (per her own words).
This company doesn’t care about you and they most certainly do not care about their properties being horrendous everywhere. I’d estimate 2% of people I ever talked to at my complex throughout my entire year enjoyed their experience there. Moving out of tCG has made me a happier and healthier person in every single way. Karma is real, and I promise tCG will collapse eventually because of it.

We rented at The Connor Group’s Austin Springs apartments. The apartment is trash. The property management and business practices are shady.
Our apartment was not clean when we moved in. The dishwasher did not function properly. The fans were dusty as hell. The previous owners had destroyed the walls and rather than retexturizing the walls and painting them, they just caulked and painted over it. They left the toilet seats from the previous owners in there. The toilet seats were black. The shower in the primary bathroom was moldy. The shower door in the primary bathroom was broken and didn’t even have a handle on it when we moved in.
In Dec 2023 Lisa came to our apartment. She said they had a new team who really wanted to fix things. She said our stuff would get taken care of in the beginning of January. That never happened. The backsplash kept falling off. There was a huge leak in the ceiling in the spare bathroom. They told us we couldn’t use the disposal because the pipes couldn’t handle it.
We moved out on 8 April because my husband got orders. They charged us for the full month of April. They are reimbursing for less than half. In March, Lisa told my husband that some of the stuff he had done to make the apartment more homey we could leave behind and they would consider it an upgrade. So we left some curtain rods and curtain rod holders my husband made (woodworking is a hobby of his). Well, they ended up charging us hundreds of dollars for leaving those. But they are also probably going to charge whoever moves into our apartment hundreds of dollars more for the “upgrade”. They also charged us for drywall repair. I’m assuming for where we hung pictures and stuff. But we caulked that ourselves. And they specifically told me when we moved in that they don’t retexture the wall. They told me that because the previous renters (who were evicted btw) had destroyed the walls and I went in and complained about how crappy they looked.
