This company has no ethics. You are forced to sign a lease before the approval process happens, thereby immediately locking you into their terms. If a situation happens prior to your move in date where you cannot live in the selected area, in my case my company restricted what state I could live and my elderly mother needed me, you are locked into a lease. I am being forced to pay rent every month for a place I never even picked up the key. They refuse to let me out of the lease.

When I moved in to the apartments in March of 2022 I did not have air conditioning. My neighbor who lives in the apartment beside me (same building) told me that the previous tenants who moved out late summer 2021 moved because The Paddock did not fix the a/c unit. No one occupied the unit after the previous tenants moved out. I also was without heat December/January for 6 weeks. It took them 9 weeks to fix my microwave. My a/c has been down since early April 2023 and it’s mid May and it is still not working at all.
I am moving in June of 2023 because of these issues as well as the 400$ rent increase. Also was highly pressured to renew my lease with two different prices if I signed within 24 hours at a cheaper rate versus waiting 60 days before my lease is up to renew.
I do not recommend anyone to move here.
      Very poorly managed housing.

Ever sense they took over the District at Linworth, it’s been anything but LUXURY! But yet that’s what they advertise. From consistent trash issues and not being cleaned up, to the point that it has attracted rats, and now we have ray traps set up all across the property. Now we have to pay for “VIP” trash services and they says it’s because it’s so they can get a handle on the trash issues yet it’s coming up on 2 years. So our luxury view is of trash on a daily to bi-daily basis. They act like there properties are better than anyone else’s. Yet they painted the buildings to look like Mexican restaurants. The manager is EXTREMELY RUDE!!! She will walk away from you mid conversation and make up some excuse to get away from you. Then when they bring new tenants in and they are loud and disruptive and slamming doors. To the point it makes
Anything you put up on the walls fall off and break. MASSIVE price increases for rent, and they use scare tactics to trick you into signing you lease renewal 5 months early and say is you don’t sign now then you can’t get a “promotion” So when you try to look at other places for pricing, no one on the market prices that far in advance because no one does that. So they say it’s because they are so much better than anyone else. AVOID ANY CONNOR GROUP PROPERTY.

Run don't walk I wish I could give them a zero I have never been treated like such a piece of crap my entire life. They nickel dime you to death. The apartments are trash and they promise you your deposit back when they screw you on that as well, they charged me $175 to clean two bedrooms that they called me I didn't have to clean I think at this point I would rather rent I get an apartment that has roaches and mice. If you like to be over charged and treated like crap this is the place for you.

DO NOT RENT PADDOCKS AT EASTPOINT - It took them 3.5 months to fix an outlet. My garage door has been broken for almost 2 months now. You have to nag & nag & nag to get them to fix anything. They changed my mailbox lock without notice & refused to give me the access code to my own garage. I shouldn't have this many issues when I'm paying them almost $1700 a month in rent. Also Kim will cop MAJOR ATTITUDE if you dare to call them & ask why something hasn't been fixed yet. Also she will show up at your apartment on NEW YEARS EVE to pressure you into renewing a lease & will smile in your face until you need something fixed. DO NOT TRUST HER.

Been living here for 6 years with reasonable rent increases and decent quality of life. Suddenly new owners (The Connor Group) take over, without warning. First, they increase trash cost by 300%. Are they going to do something different? NO. Still just a single dumpster on opposite side of complex I am required to drive to. Somehow its existence will now cost me $50/month instead of $17. Then, without notice, they decide to start construction, clearly sourced in the cheapest way possible. A dozen teenagers are on our roof for weeks now during work hours (I work from home). The craftsmanship is ridiculous, the old roof looked significantly better. They are leaving nails, roofing tiles, and literal trash everywhere. I go to complain and they assure me they will address the issue. Literally nothing has changed, there are nails everywhere in the parking lot.
Now we get notice of a rent increase of over 25%! Literally nobody gets a pay raise of 25% in a year, so they are literally forcing out tenants that have been there for years. When asked if they are going to do anything to our unit to justify this TWENTYFIVE PERCENT INCREASE, they say no. Our carpet is 7 years old (at least). Our refrigerator is basically fisher price, enough to store ~2 days worth of meals. There is no ventilation for the stove. The electric bill is ~$400/month because there is ZERO insulation and the heating/airconditioning units are older than me. Not going to be replacing those either. Just a greedy bunch of ****** taking advantage of people and giving nothing in return.
We are raising our son in this neighborhood because of the school district. This soulless group of ******** are forcing us to move and ruin my son's childhood/life. Again that's the CONNOR GROUP.

I live at **** ********* ****** ********** ** ******. The management here is horrible! There's a lot of hidden fees. That they don't tell you about until after they force you to sign a lease. The entire apartment complex is infested with mold. Several tenants have had to move because of this problem. Management seems more interested in replacing the flower bed out front. But would not fix the lights on the interior of the property. It's been 10 months now. The entire front of the complex is pitch dark at night time. The pool area zero lighting. And several of the courtyards have low to no lighting at all. A young lady was abducted and murdered from this property last August. Security here is a joke. Majority of the security gates don't work. Add to that the lighting situation and you have yourself a catastrophe. At the cost of about $33,000 a year. It is not worth the money!

NIGHTMARE. DO NOT LEASE HERE. They do not leave you alone. Constant harassment to resign starting 5 months before your lease end date. They show up unannounced after hours to force you to sign. They are invasive and intrusive. The only part of the property that is luxury is the clubhouse, the tenant living area and common areas are dirty and rarely cleaned. They will show you their best updated apt, and then give you a piece of crap with old appliances and filthy everywhere. The water barely goes down the pipes. Water pressure is terrible. Heed my warning and STAY AWAY

I lived at Firestone West 7th, Fort Worth Texas. I started considering moving the moment this group took over. First, they started charging me animal rent and an extra deposit even though I provided them proof of my initial deposit as well as an agreement to not be charged animal rent as an incentive for me to stay another year. After providing them these statements and proof from the bank from my initial deposit they still maintained they would be charging me and if I didn’t pay it would go to credit collection.
Then, I move out because of this terrible business move they made. 9 months later, I receive a bill from a debt collector from the apartment complex. I call the complex and they said they got rid of Connor group and have had similar calls about unresolved debts and I’d have to call Connor group.
They said resident billing services did not have my number, address, or email on file so they couldn’t notify me of an outstanding balance. I told them I was not allowed to move out until I provided my new address and I had received confirmation emails from RBS all the way up until the month before I moved out. She said it was a different system. I asked why the company doesn’t communicate with the leasing office to obtain the information and she said the same thing: “different systems”.
All she could offer me was an apology for my frustration and to speak to another person who could explain the situation better so “I could understand.” I told her I perfectly understand that your company put in absolutely zero effort to obtain a means to communicate with me and instead reported me to credit collections which of course, impacts my credit.
Not one missed payment, all of my contact information updated, I professionally cleaned the apartment before leaving and The Connor Group’s lazy and not-for-people systems hit my credit. To think that there are businesses that can get away with something like this is disgusting.
