      Two issues: Billing and Service
      Billing: being charge $3500.00 more than the amendment billing. Just so you know I am not allowed to provide paperwork due to the fact that I had to sign a form stating I will not let anyone know of the price I paid. I called the company on 9-9-22 @ 0958 and he, ***** ******** did not return my call. I told him I received my first bill from the bank, and they are still charging me the original amount. We made an agreement on an amendment amount and on 7/18/22 ****** **** came and picked up the original copy of the original sign contact and gave me a copy of the amendment form (so I no longer have a copy of the original).

      Service: as much I am paying, I should have of gotten the royal treatment but didn't. Between the first day I talked to them until 9-9-22 any time we called them (my son and myself) it would take several days or weeks before they would return any call, most of the time it we talked to them it was because we called them at the right time. My complain about the tiles they placed on my roof. I ordered Emeral Green and some of the tiles are black. They do not intermix, so they look like my roof is partly wet all the time. I am paying good money for this and should have received better quality product. Just so you know we called about this several times and were told they would do something about it, but they haven't.

      I am rejecting this response because: Until they actually do something with the discoloration of the tiles due to the amount of money I paid. Removing the darker ones is the best solution, that is the least they can do.

      Entered into a contract. Did not like a few of the details. Canceled the contract, with in legal time limits and proper notification as per contract.
      This was on 8/30 and I still have not received my 15,000 deposit back and am unable to contact anyone. Please refund the deposit. They cashed in hours after leaving my home.
      Communication is Terrible and this was a large factor why I canceled.

Per the cancellation agreement the the check can take up to 10 business days to get sent out. The check is being sent out today and will be with the customer shortly after.

      This company is false advertising, they offer Free quote’s and then they lie and say they are unable to get a quote! They are collecting information to sell to a third party lender.

      Erie Home apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused. Erie Home was able to list to the call between the homeowner and the agent. Unfortunately the homeowners location was over 90 miles away from our closest office and we did not have anyone available to set an appointment in that area. This was explained to the customer. The customer advised to lose their information and we added them to our do not contact list. At no point in time does Erie sell any customer information to any third party lenders.

      The signed contract with this company was not followed. We were to be given 2 to 3 days notice to their arrival and they just showed up and started taking over our home. I contacted the project manager immediately after I got home and they were already removing the shingles from my house. I also took pictures of the way in which they took over my home as well as I informed him I felt violated by their disregard to our property. He apologized and stated the roofers were not supposed to arrive until they heard back from him and that Erie Metal roofing was in the wrong. He said, which the contract also says, he would follow up after the work was done and now I cannot receive a return phone call. I have called and left messages with the main office as well as the project manager, in which I spoke to on the day they arrived, and no one will return my calls.

      My husband and I hired Erie to redo our roof. We were contacted when they ordered the material and we’re told we’d be contacted to schedule the installation. We received a phone call on 9/1 from a contractor saying I’ll be doing your roof tomorrow. The sales person we signed the contract with was told we would be on vacation this day and not home and that we did not want the roof completed this day or the next as we would not be home. We told the contractor the same thing and then contacted Erie, to have it rescheduled. We were never contacted and did not know the installation was happening until a neighbor called to tell us that there were contractors on our roof. Then when we arrived home from vacation there was sheeting sitting in our grass which we specifically said not to do an a lot of beer bottles in the dumpster and cigarette butts all over our driveway. There was debris that could have been easily picked up laying around including nails, which our agreement said would not happen. The work itself is not great as there is flashing missing and less air vents installed on the roof then we had before and we were supposed to have more. While contacting Erie about the issues and complaints we have been given no definite answer on anything. The dumpster was supposed to be picked up on completion day which was 9/2 and was not preventing my husband from going to work as it was blocking a car. The representative from the company has no remorse for any of the problems and never calls we have to call him to get anywhere. There is damage to the decorative chimney that’s not flashed and missing shingles around piping. This has been the worst experience with contractors ever. We were told this was a better business rated company and no it cannot be with service like this.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      My husband and I agreed to sign off on the roof as we feel we were being pressured by Erie. We received a phone call everyday after the contract inspector came on  9/13 and completed work. The calls were to check on the status of the paperwork and our sign off, we were waiting on our ability to inspect the work. Myself had recently experienced a miscarriage and could not climb a ladder to verify and it was left to my husbands availability after work and this was noted to the Erie employee  that was at our house on 9/13. As there were numerous times we felt we were lied to by the Erie staff, we did not trust that anything had been completed.

      Erie has agreed to send us a $500 voucher which is nice as it does cover the lost wages we experienced. However, they have yet to address the consumption of alcohol while on our property while working. This will be reported to **** if not addressed. we are still picking up waste that was left behind including ice and water shield in our gardens, tubes of sealant in our gardens, let alone nails. The work is sloppy and does not look good in a lot of areas. They cut gutters and installed things is a sloppy manner. My husband has had to flatten numerous shingles and remove the backing from ice and water shield that was left in those places. Their inspection never caught these things. They have been extremely unprofessional in the forms of contact and scheduling. ***** who was supposed to be our contact completely stepped away and told **** and ****** that he contacted us when he did not. When I brought this to ****’s attention he rudely told me not to focus on the past and focus on the present and what I needed. I was informed that I had cancelled the install on 9/8, but was never contacted nor was my husband. This was the past and present together. ***** had not contacted us for the installation for 9/8 or on 9/9. Due to the inaccuracies of their scheduling we missed a family function and will not be able to make up for that lost time.


      I feel that the company needs to address more of these issues and honestly fire their subcontractor who was working on our roof and that **** and ***** be reprimanded for their unprofessional manner.

      I had signed a contract and given a starting check to the company for a roof replacement, then cancelled the contract within my legal 3 days. and the company acknowledged they had received the cancellation, but then cashed the check anyway. I reached out the the rep I was in contact with, and was ensured it would be fixed. Since then the issue has not been corrected and around the representative has stopped providing me with information.
      Check wrongly cashed, July 13th
      was told the correction would be made, August 4th
      and asked for updates on August 24th, 31st, and Now Sep 6th And received no information/No response.

      Requested a simple estimate for a metal roof. Explained to the salesmen upon their arrival that I'm a single person on a limited budget and only looking for a quick ballpark estimate to see if a metal roof would be remotely feasible. I advised the 'sales people' that I am currently suffering with Shingles, so under the weather. Gentleman entered my attic and proceeded to step through the ceiling leaving a large hole and spewing insulation all over the floor and hot air from my 138 degree (according to them) attic into the hallway. This would have been a great time for them to leave with a promise to attend to the repair asap, and a profuse apology given the obvious amount of stress I was already under. Instead they proceeded with a 'used car salesman type of overly detailed sales pitch', ignoring my repeated interruptions and requests that they simply provide me with a ballpark number which is all I had asked for in the first place. Being ill, and dealing with a number of expensive and stressful home repairs currently, I felt myself getting sick, nauseous, and my blood pressure was rising. I did NOT ask for a detailed and lengthy presentation with samples and videos, nor did I ask for a hole in my ceiling. I felt outnumbered, stressed and pressured. My intelligence was insulted with the presentation also. The one price I FINALLY got out of them was for shingles, and that price was $10,000.00 more than another estimate I already have for a metal roof. I did not ask for the history of the company or a quiz on shingles. I'm not stupid and I understand that shingles have life times associated with them. I wanted a quick ballpark quote on a metal roof. That's all. This was a horrible and stressful experience. Instead of making progress on my home issues they created another one and I would never consider calling them back neither would I EVER recommend this company.

      Erie salesman stepped between the beams in my attic and made a large hole in my ceiling. I have been waiting for a repair and a Visa gift card (promised as an apology) since SEPTEMBER. I finally paid to get the hole fixed myself. I was tired of looking at the black garbage back the salesman taped to my ceiling. I will pursue this in small claims court unless I receive the gift card that was promised and reimbursement for the ceiling repair. To add insult to injury, after stepping through my ceiling, the salesman had proclaimed "Oh! I did it didn't I? Sorry Ma'am, I stepped through your ceiling, but don't worry, Erie carries a million dollars in insurance and we will put this right for you." Nobody gets to enter someone's home, cause damage, and just walk away. This company has no business ethics. It should have been FIRST priority to immediately repair my ceiling. This experience has caused me a great deal of mental distress and expense. I cannot afford unnecessary home repairs. I am a single woman on a limited income. The salesmen did not care about making a hole in my ceiling and even joked that the black garbage bag "didn't look too bad".

      On 8 -28-22 We paid Erie construction nearly 28,000 dollars for a premium roof with a garunteed non pro rated 30 year warranty, the install was poor,damage was done to our decking and our flower beds were trashed,and nails and other construction debris was left behind.
      We found out after having to call Erie, we only had a 10 year warranty, I want the promised warranty, or a discount for a 10 yr warranty

      On March 15th I had made a deposit for a job to be done. After reviewing there price and my financial state I had decided to cancel the job. On March 15 the same day a notice of cancelation was made to Erie the same day as the appointment. They still after almost 6 months have not returned my deposit. I have called over and over trying to get information on why I can not get my deposit back with no information. There local branch said they have done all they can and had me contact the corporate office will still no help

      First had Roof Installed Feb 2021.
      Less than 6 months later Roof was leaking on our addition. With Damage to Inside of home. Was offered 500 dollars to fix the inside of the room, we were then told they would pay for someone to fix it, but WE had to find someone in the middle of Covid and no one would come out to even quote us. Leak was fine until this past weekend. Leak in same room, and now a new Leak in my laundry room.
      Called Indy office to have someone come out AGAIN, no call back .
