      I bought a new 2 stage Cub Cadet snow blower in Dec. 2022. Last winter I only had to use it once. When spring came, I run the fuel out so it there was no fuel sitting all summer. Put new fuel in, went to use the electric start and it would crank but not turnover. I called Cub Cadet and they said I would have to take it to an authorized dealer. I called the nearest one and it will cost me $100 to have them pick it up and then who knows if the warranty will cover what is wrong. I paid $1,300 for a snow blower that ran once without going down, plus at least another $100 to get it fixed. I had a ********* snow blower for over a decade and it never broke down or did not start. I went with Cub Cadet because MTD is a local product to where I live, but I regret that decision now.

Your equipment came equipped with a minimum 3-year manufacturing warranty, and we do stand behind our products and our warranties. Our Cub Cadet authorized service dealers handle all of our warranty claims and adjustments and can work directly with our customer support to fix the problem. As long as one of our dealers says that this was a manufacturing defect and files a warranty claim, we are happy to cover the repair charges. Transportation charges and service calls for warranty related services are not provided as a part of the manufacturer's warranty coverage. Please consult the warranty declarations page of the Operator's Manual for complete warranty coverage provisions and limitations. As a courtesy, we can reimburse you for the pick up and delivery charge as long as a reciept is provided.       I purchased 2 snowblowers in 2022. 1 Craftsman and 1 Troy-Bilt, both of them take the same shave plate, parts number is 790-03900. apparently the shave plate was not available for purchase in 2022, which makes no sense considering there were hundreds of these snowblowers available in both Lowes and Home Depot. Again in 2023 the shave plates were not available. I take care of a 37 unit HOA so you can imagine the damage to a shave plate in 1 season. Due to the inability to purchase this part the cement has ate through the metal in both blowers and there is no longer a place to mount the plate. In November of 2023 I was told by a local distributer that the plate would be available by December 13th I order 2 at that time. December came and still no product. 10 storms later in January the plate was finally available and my equipment was ruined. If you are going to sell products for 2 years make sure you have parts available for your customers. I have contacted both Craftsman and MTD about this issue. it's been over 2 months since I brought this issue to there attention. I keep receive emails stating a specialized team will be contacting, but so far I'm still getting the run around. I will be finding a new company to use in the future.

      Nobody has called me, as you don't have my phone number that would be quite difficult to accomplish. I did not receive an email on Feb 15th or the 22nd as you claim. I sent an email on Jan 15th with no response and again on Feb. 13th. It would be helpful if I could see the phone number and case number. All I see are stars.

      i bought a lawn mower made by them from Wal-Mart less than 2 years ago. even though their product came with a 2 year warranty, when their product stopped working they refused to repair it or take any accountability. they recommended a local repair shop that would only fix the lawn mower if i paid them. lawn mowers are supposed to last for way longer than 2 years. they made a low quality product and when i called to ask for help trying to get it fixed, they gave bad advice like dump all the gas, refill it, dump gas again, and refill it. i feel ripped off by them and i they need to be held accountable for selling these bad products.

      I purchased a ****-BiltCSV070B Self-Propelled Chipper Shredder Vacuum for $867.91 and it was shipped to me with no manual, no oil and no safety glasses as stated in "contents of carton''. This was shipped to me directly from the manufacturer. I dealt with 3 ****-Bilt customer service reps. *** first two stated it does not come with those parts. I told them to check the manual and they admitted they were mistaken the first said she was unable to mail to me replacements due to a computer problem and I had to talk to the sales department and gave me a phone number to call. A chat representative also could not help me. Each time I was on hold for over 35 minutes. *** sales department eventually said they would mail me the missing parts and I would get a confirmation email and then a tracking #. I still haven't received an email or tracking # after a day and a half and I am not confident I will ever get anything from *************. I spent approximately 3 aggravating hours on the phone and chat dealing with incompetence. I recommend that you buy from a company that stands by their products and will help their customers after spending a good sum of money and messing up the order. ****-Bilt customer service is a nightmare. I currently own a ****-Bilt snow blower but will pass on their products in the future. I tried to post a negative review on their website and they emailed me back, "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" Unbelievable.

      Poor customer service, does not stand behind their product. I bought a B&D chainsaw July 4th 2022. Supposedly it has a 2 year warranty. When it wouldn't stay running, I removed the carburetor cover and noticed the carb was loose. I tried to tighten it, but realized one of the bolts in the engine block had sheared off letting in too much air and evidently damaged the piston.The service center is saying the unit is not covered because I used bad gas. This is not true as I use the same mixture in my other equipment with no problems and am very careful about my fuel mixture. I've called corporate, spoke with a supervisor and got no results. This is a shame as I had been happy with their other products in the past and had gotten excellent service, but in the future will never buy this brand again.

      I have been trying to get an upper handle replacement part for my 4 year old self-propelled Cub Cadet lawn mower for 3 weeks now. Been told the parts will be in next week 2 times now. I am now being told it will be 2 weeks longer. Called to company and waited on hold for approx 30 minutes. The chat wait was only 15 minutes. They call this customer service by the way. So now, I have spent $100+ on mower rentals and cannot trust what I am hearing on when I can get the part. Consider me an ex Cub Cadet customer.

      it was already a hassle to order from this company as it processed my order twice then kicked it back...each time holding on to the order amount of money for 14 days.. so $84x2... had to wait for that to come back to my bank account before I could try to place the order again.. well the third times a charm I guess... but the price of parts I ordered went up by $12 or $15.. so that was a kick in the face when you're on a budget.. anyways they ended up sending the wrong part it didn't work.. tried3 separate occasions to get ahold of someone on the phone ended up just driving a couple towns over for the right part.. but so much for a hassle free return because it was a hassle.. so much so I'm not stuck with a new part for my mower.. the ignition switch that I'm stuck with since they wouldn't take the return because its a HASSLE to get a return started. ill personally never order from this company again and have tempted to go with a new mower company all together if getting customer service and parts is this much trouble.... do better

      ZT1 42E Mower: This purchase is comparable to a donkey rodeo. The dealer was awful!!! I bought it with the bagger. The bagger was not in stock so they had to order. Weeks later it came in and I took the mower to them because the salesperson ***** said they would install it. They didn't. Got it home and realized it was the wrong one. They had to order the right one. This was after they questioned me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. Weeks later the right bagger came in. It was too late in the season to use it. I have .6 acres of grass to mow. A full charge will not mow it. It takes 140% charge to cut my yard. That means I can't mow it at one time. Runs only abut 50 minutes. I found out thru reviews that the mowing time can be impacted because of the weight the bagger adds and weight of the grass as it get full. The dealer should have told me this and I would not have bought it. I called Club Cadet and they confirmed this, it was documented and the dealer should have told me. The steering is jerky even at the slower speed. This is after the calibration. The dealer didn't tell me about this calibration process. I Googled and found it. They told me that when I purchased it that the steering would improve as the mower got use to my operation of this mower. That is not true. You absolutely cannot operate this mower at the faster speed because it will be all over the place. I have talked to Cub Cadet 3 times. They told me they would get the contact info for a local marketing rep. Never received the info and when I followed up I was told they didn't know why I was told that. On another call I was told to operate the mower at the slower speed and it would help with the steering and performance of the mower with the bagger. I was already running at turtle speed. Each time I called(3) I had to wait 45+ minutes to speak with someone. This is the 4th Cub Cadet product I have purchased and the 2nd ZTR mower.

      I have tried for days to purchase their XT1 LT50 FAB Lawn Tractor. I when to my local ********** placed the order and for some reason they could not explain, the order was canceled. They said to place the order again when they return the credit for the sell. I didn't want to wait that long (at least 3 days their estimate) so I went to the Cub Cadet website. I selected the unit and put it in the cart with the warranty. Went to checkout and they offered a few 0% interest financing options that looked good for my checking account. I applied for the card and received the credit knowing my credit rating would take a hit. I checked out using the credit card and submitted the payment. A message was displayed "We cannot process your payment at this time." They suggested I contact support or if I used TD Financing, to call them. I called Financing and they could not find any problem on their end, everything was good. An hour later I tried again and submitted the payment again. This time the payment error message come up but the payment balance had changed. Along with the Unit $2899 unit, the $249.99 warranty, $129.00 shipping, and ****** tax, the total billing (estimate) was $3499.25. Credit limit exceeded that. A new balance appeared on the site of $4020.00, a $520.00 extra. I declined to submit. Next day I hit live chat to find out why the added charge. after 30 minute wait, **** said she was not able to help and had me call the support line. So I did. ******************* background and he said the decline was probably a mispelled word, or wrong initial or missing one. I said the payment information that got the credit approval is the same info for the payment except that I entered the credit card number and the bank said all that was fine. I asked about the added charge and he said it was possibly the dealer adding shipping charges. Shipping was already given, $129.00. There was no explanation on the site for the added $520.00 and ***** basically said he can't help.
