      I am an owner operator. On 121922 when hauling a semi trailer w expensive goods near this Loves Travel Stop, my clutch began to slip. Contacted the Loves mechanic. His name was Bones and seem to be in charge of both repairs and towing. Bones said they could not repair it, and so recommended we take it to the Freightliner agent in Nashville. Because of the hills, he advised to park the trailer there. We offered to pay for parking but Bones said not to worry. To make sure, we spoke to the operations manager (Joe) on 122022 and explained the situation, and again offered to pay, but he said not to worry. He also has our contact details. On 011723, repairs were completed. Immediately drove to Loves for the trailer, but it was nowhere to be found. When asking the staff, they referred to Bones. Not even the operations manager (Clint, a new operations manager) said he knew anything, but instead suggested it might currently be parked by the scale (which was not correct). When asking for the higher manager, Clint responded that his name is Matt, and that he would ask Matt to call us. Matt never did. Through some research, we got indicators that Bones might be involved. When talking to Bones, he gave us this story: Bones said "someone came and took the trailer. Then a little later they left an empty trailer, but on another spot, and THAT trailer was later towed". We have forensic evidence this is wrong. Through some further research, we found the trailer inside a locked yard owned by a company called "I-40 towing" located just across the street from Loves! When paying them a visit, they (Todd) said Bones had requested that they tow it, claiming it was "abandoned" (even though they had our phone numbers, as well as a message on the trailer saying who the owner is and how to contact). Todd knows Bones well. Todd wants $1500! to release the trailer. We have now waited in our truck for days waiting for Loves to have the towing company release the incorrectly impounded trailer.

      I am rejecting this response because I already talked to the management at that location, and they are uncooperative. The problem remains, we are losing $2000 (loss of income) for every day that we are waiting and not getting the trailer back. Loves ******* ** and their friends at I-40 towing (across the street from the truckstop) are still refusing to give the trailer back (even though the impound was illegal), and require $1500 which we dont have available, and they do not take NET30 payment either. Loves need to move the trailer back ASAP so we can continue hauling.

      I am rejecting this response because it has not been resolved. We are two people that have lived in the truck for 11 days now waiting nearby Loves, but Loves still refuse to release the trailer so we can haul it to its destination and make money again. Loves are attacking our livelyhood and may possibly put us out or business and/or cause bankrupcy, including personal and social collapse for our family. What a sinister company, evil for no joust reason!

      Im a truck driver and got a dead battery on their lot. It was 30 degrees and 3am. The shop is closed at that hour so I went in to the store to ask for help. The manager had a tire technician who could help but refused to let him help me because she didnt want to work alone for 30 minutes. Which turns out she lied about not having anyone else. I then sit in the cold until 7:30am when the shop opens. I go to the shop and the shop manager tells me he has to pickup the trash first and change a tire and oil change all before he can give me a jumpstart. Im freezing and the trash is more important than helping a person!!! And

      I was at the loves travel stop in ********** ***** Ive purchased $450 worth of fuel and when I went outside to pump my fuel the machine told me please wait please wait please wait so I went back in to notify the attendant and they told me that they had to cancel the transaction and give me a refund to my card that would take between 7 to 10 business days. I argued with them that I was at work and I needed the $450 in fuel in order to begin my day they say they wont let them they can do about it the lady had a bad attitude and told me I had to pay for the fuel ***** call the Lowes customer service helpdesk and they told her the same thing so she had already issued a refund thats all that can be done. So I paid another $450 for the same fuel that I shouldve already had totally $900 in fuel that day and I left. So the following day I began to call customer service and the corporate office demanding that I have my money back and I got no response they told me that someone will call me in a couple of weeks nothing was done about my money that was taken from me so after the 10 business days I ended up calling the law travel stop because I never got the money the manager said that the lady did the refund wrong he had to re-issue the refund so I had to wait again I never received my money to this day and someone from accounts payable was supposed to call me regarding the matter that happened on October 25 she never called till February of the following year February 26. In the loves refund policy claw to say that I have a customers like you and your refund within 30 days 60 days that because of negligence he would automatically be awarded as a winner now I should have gotten my money back just because of the fact I never received my money the lady had attitude with me she told me that she was no longer in that position and she gave me another number to call the new guy to guy totally talked crazy and he showed no respect for my loss he used a few curse words as well

The customer advised he used a credit card from someone he was travelling with, and he can no longer find that person and is unable to provide any credit card information to support his claim.       i applied for receivables factoring with loves financial. i filled out application and was told i was approved for receivables financing by the loves admistrator. they sent me a contract to sign to sign, in which i did after being told i was approved. after the fact Loves management tells me that they can no longer proceed because of a UCC filing against my company and they cannot finance any receivables until it is removed because they need to be in the #1 position on my UCC in accordance with their company policy.. I proceeded to do business as usual without a factoring service. Another factoring service reached out to me and actually helped me to remove the previous UCC filing that should not have been there( thats a separate issue). they then informed me that loves had placed themselves in the #2 position on my UCC regardless of the fact that they refused to do any further business with my company, Loves demanded $500.00 from this factoring company to remove their filing and when i called to loves to verify they demanded the same amount from me. i have been informed that this is a practice loves has done to prevent potential customers from going to another factoring company, and should be illegal. they have been getting away with this practice apparently for a long time. Loves management said i signed a contract and i need to pay them to remove them from my UCC. i told them that i only signed contract after being told i was approved by their staff and they decided to renig on deal. they had no right file on my UCC after they denied my company for financing. they should have check for any previous UCC filings before they issued me an approval or contract,. this is currently stagnating my cash flow for my business and causing unecessary financial burdens on my personal life and business, i refuse to be extorted by this company and this is exactly what this amounts to. this is unlawful, fradulent, and predatory and i would like your assistance .

      On December 2, 2022. I stopped at the loves in Duscan, La to have tires replaced on my Kenworth T680. They put the wrong tires on my truck rides 295/75r **** but they put on 11r****. These tires where way to big for my truck. And having these bigger tires cause my drive axel to burst and need to be replace due to these bigger tires. I pulled in the loves in ******** and called a on call mechanic to assess the isssue. I also called loves on December 5th and was given case #********. They told me it could take up to 72 hours, so I called back after 72 hours, and they told me 3 to 5 business days and some one should call me before the end of the day. Called again today December 12 and they said they was re-escalating my case. Which is absurb. Why does a person have to go through so many loops when this shop damaged my way of making a living. All they do is give you the run around. **************** is a total joke. I am out of pocket and out work until my truck is repaired. I also lost work because my truck is not drivable now. I don't want to hear someone will call. I need to speak to someone immediately.

      No one has contacted me yet. Your customer service is good at giving people the run around. I have called every day to be transferred to a voicemail system that hasn't returned any of my calls. Looks like I will have to get a lawyer involved just to get a response from you guys. I have never in my life experienced customer service so poorly. For a problem your company caused. And don't tell me someone will contact me in 3-5 business days. It's already been 9 business days. How is that acceptable? I want to speak to someone immediately. The manager at Duscan la shop never returned my call.

      The incident occured at Loves travel stop #*** *************************************************************************** on November 22, 2022 between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. I stopped here to get gas and a fountain drink. I gave the cashier $100 bill and she seemed to be having trouble breaking it so I told her to just take it out of $25 (five $5 bills) instead so she took the $25 and gave me back what I thought was $100 but then realized that she only gave me back $78 and asked her to print a reciept so she did and laid it on the counter there was another man standing at the register who witnessed all of it take place. So I laid the $78 down where she laid the reciept down she counted the $78 and still had the $25 in her hand she gave me the $25 back at first then snatched it back from me grabbed the other $78 back off the counter then I asked her to give me my money back she handed me the $78 back and kept the $25 then swiped the reciept off the counter and put it in the trash. When I asked the manager on duty she said she looked back over the surveillance footage and the drawer wasnt $25 over or under but she should have been able to see clearly in the footage what took place. First off all the women snatched my money out of my hand and swiped the reciept off the counter. I feel that is unprofessional and poor conduct. I haven't spoke to corporate yet but just because her drawer was not over doesn't mean the woman didn't pocket the money since she obviously doesn't care about professional conduct. This was theft.

      I was getting a shower at the travel stop and one of the workers walked in on me and then told me (when I got out ) basically it was my fault since I didnt lock the door. She didnt apologize so back to when I was in shower I notice two towels hanging on door but I was in rush didnt think nothing of it but she had mentioned she thought it needed cleaned so thats why she walked in so they put me in a bathroom thats wasnt cleaned but had new towels for me but still had old ones in there as well

      March 25, 2022 - 12:00 - Stopped in at Loves #***, ***************************************************** to get gas. The first pump we pulled into would not read our credit card, so we pulled up to pump #8. We pumped our gas then it asked for our credit card again before printing a receipt, so I swiped it again. Another person pulls up behind us and we mentioned that the pump they are at isn't working. Meanwhile, my pump never printed a receipt, so I moved my vehicle and went into the store to get my receipt. I waited in line and told the lady behind the counter that pump 8 didn't print a receipt and that it asked for my credit card again. Now the gentleman previously behind us is pumping gas and I was concerned that it would be on my cc. The lady said "no, when I print your receipt, it will cancel yours out". She gave me my receipt and I left. When I returned home from our trip the charge for $57.00 was on my cc along with my receipt of $17.98. I immediately contacted Loves in ****** and the gentlemen who answered said they would take care of it, but I would have to dispute it through my credit card company. I tried disputing this with Synchrony multiple times with no success. I don't believe I should have to pay for someone else's gas due to their pump issues. I was misled by the lady behind the counter that I would not be charged after she printed my receipt. I have spent many hours getting this resolved. We have nothing against Love's in fact, we would frequently stop at various ones when we travel. Unfortunately, this prolonged issue turns me away from ever using Love's again. I have reached out to Synchrony on 4/11, 5/12, 6/27 and now today 11/9th with BBB.
