In approximately August of 2022, went to ******** location to have a nail removal. Watched worker performing service through the window, seemed upset. Next morning, same tire is flat, nail still in tire. Had to fill with air each morning, went to ********** 4 days later to have the actual work done on the tire. Showed me nail still in tire. Same Columbia location in August, right front tire tread wearing faster than other tires. Was told pre-alignment check is free. Charged me $110 for an alignment I did not need, before and after printout numbers are almost identical and the only number to change at all would have no effect on tire wear according to manager at Broadway location. Went to ****** location January to have another s**** removed. Shared with store manager all my prior experiences, he checked the continued slow leak from the tire that had not actually been serviced at Columbia location, stated that not everyone is honest and to go speak to store manager at Columbia about being charged for service I didn't need. Slow leak at this moment appears to have been repaired at ****** location. However, left ****** location with s**** still in tire... Went to ******* location 2 days later, shared all previous experiences with them. Allowed me to inspect the tires while they repaired the s**** Found that NO PRIOR WORK had been done on any tires as the only plug was from the work being done right then. Gentleman who worked on my tire stated the s**** had "been in there for a while". Called *** at *************************** told me not to speak while he was speaking and that he wouldn't answer my questions. Was ridiculous and would not survive that attitude in any reputable customer service position. Absolutely NO solution offered at corporate customer service, except to return to location that has twice swindled me to ask for refund......Business Response

Came in with a nail on tire. Waited 2 hrs before my car was touched. Later on they told me my tire was totally damaged by their machine. As a result I had to replace all 4 tires together ** it's AWD. They also said they would pay for only one tire therefore I was left to pay over 800 for a problem they caused. I sent a message to their headquarters but no one reached out to me.Business Response

This situation specifically occured back between 06/2021 and 07/21. At the time I was having my Cadillac Escalade worked on and during this time i ended up paying $2,580. My complaint that I have is the fact that even after spending way more than anticipated being that i had several things that needed to be worked and fix that i truthfully ask to bring to par as far as at lease safety level. While this car stood over night on several occasions my car happen to be robbed for its starter and torn from down underneath my entire truck. When it arrived to the store it was verified that the one working on the car at the time was able to verify the car had turned on and off several times i believe specifically said about 3 times but by the fourth time he attempted to turn the car on to bleed the breaks he stated he was able to get the car to turn on. It got towed to cadillac dealership where they conducted a diagnostic which later determined that in fact the starter was literally torn out from underneath the entire truck. ******** took no responsibility for it and didn't mention the situation once. I later figured out how to once a2nd for all file a claim which is what i currently doing as of now. This main complaint will be to recover at the very least the amount that I spent So roughly I will take ******* Then i will just leave this situation at that and leave it alone. unfortunately the mechanical still had several issues that it caused my car overall till this dayBusiness Response

I presented a **** f150 4x4 that needed brakes, caliper and rotors replaced. After getting the truck back the driver front rotor experienced the exact same wear condition. I brought it back and an employee told me he had to tighten up a bearing. That same day my flex lines for the braking system started leaking (gushing) brake fluid. I brought the truck back to them and they say the lines are old an worn and that they want around $300.00 to fix them. The lines are old but are still in a very pliable and good condition.Business Response

On Nov.28, 2022 I called ******************* to make an appointment to purchase 4 new tires and front end alignment for my 2018 truck and was told that it is first come first serve. The next day I walk into the office around 10 am And was told by the girl that knows nothing about tires they are busy and it should be about 5 hours before my truck is worked on. After 7 hours of watching other people Coming in and getting worked on I finally had enough! I went into the office and demanded my keys. That's when I was told that they do appointments first and walk ins in between. I tried to make an appointment and was told no appointments. I will not go into a business spend $2000. and be treated like a idiot. As for those girls working at the desk they need to be educated or FIRED because they know nothing about tires.Business Response

We regret **************************************** had a negative experience at the Beaverton, Oregon, Les Schwab Tire Center. We take customer reports seriously and work diligently to immediately address customer concerns.
According to *********************** records, **************************************** brought her 2017 ****** Rav4 (vehicle) to the tire center on August 25, 2022 and informed the technician the **** light was on in the vehicles dash. The technician servicing the vehicle found there were 3 screws in the right rear tire. The technician performed the flat repair, free of charge. On September 12, 2022, **************************************** brought her vehicle back to the tire center with a flat tire. The technician discovered a nail in the right rear tire and repaired it, again free of charge pursuant to Les Schwabs Best Tire Value Promise (warranty).

I am rejecting this response because:I brought my ****** Rav4 with a low tire pressure warning light 9n around November 14th, 2022 and LS determined that all 4 tires had a low pressure, which none of it was addressed. Instead, LS had performed a seasonal tire changeover for winter tires and all 4 faulty summer tires were given back to me.
The 4 summer tires are supposed to be covered by a LS warranty which is not honored.

We are in receipt of Ms. ******************* additional information. According to Les Schwabs records, **************************************** did bring her vehicle to the tire center on November 12, 2022, which was not addressed in her previous report, to have a seasonal switch (winter changeover). The technician working to perform the changeover noted the tire pressure when the vehicle arrived was between 24 and 29 PSI and the **** light was not on. The average tire pressure for that vehicle is ***************************************** air pressure, especially during colder weather. The winter changeover was performed entirely free of charge as a customer service gesture.

Complaint: 18405058
I am rejecting this response because:The drop in tire pressure has been not a single occurrence due to just a cold weather.
As I mentioned before, the tires were dropping pressure since I bought. I have stopped at Les Schwab more than once to indicate that and adjust the pressure. 8njustbsimply cannot do it every day. Gas stations in Oregon where I live charge for air and I cannot do it for tires which are defective but coveted by a warranty.
What is the point of the warranty if it cannot be honored.
At this point, since the resolution of this complaint cannot be reasonably made, this issue would be forwarded to the the small case court in Washington county, Oregon.
Sincerely,

On October 27, 2022 I took my 2015 ******** CLA 250 for a brake inspection due to my check brake wear light coming on, to Les Schwab Tire Center #************************************************************************************. Upon completion of the inspection it was recommended that they replace the front pads, rotors and sensors, so I agreed. The work was completed and my total was $549.58. Upon leaving I traveled out of town for the weekend and experienced brake squealing and caliper clanking. Upon my return, I went back to the store and the claimed to have fixed everything only to have all the same symptoms return the same day. The following week I had to put in vacation time at work again to take my car back, this time I took a few videos so they could hear everything that I am hearing and how annoying that is and the tech said again he inspected everything and it just needs a "break in" period. Now, here I am after 3 trips back to Les Schwab and a month later after paying the most I've ever paid for a brake job and clearly the worst experience I've ever had with brakes and I'm still experiencing the same annoying sounds after 1 month of driving over *********************************************** period. This is unacceptable and I have lost 3 days of work and a lot of personal time trying to get a service that I paid for resolved and still have no resolution. I am a veteran of 22 years in the military and my family has been taking our cars here for many, many years but this is just unacceptable. I need this actually resolved immediately or put my old brakes that were silent back on my car and refund my money and I will take all of my services elsewhere.Business Response
