The hood lift struts on my 2005 jeep liberty were not working and the worker at lLes Schwab said they needed to be replaced and I agreed. They were replaced at a cost of ***** per strut and an installation cost of ****** each. At the time I thought that was a little high and checked on it later. I checked with ****** and Autozone and ********* and found the struts Cost 7.97 each and snap in in seconds so no installation fee. I asked ****** Les Schwab to drop the installation charge and they refused. I have done a lot of business there and I am sorry but will not do any more at this point.

I brought in a tire to be repaired/replaced under warranty, the person behind the desk said no problem. They had to order it but it would be done in a few days. When I returned to pick up the tire they told me I would have to pay for the tire even though it is covered under the "NO Hassle Road Hazard" part of the warranty agreement. I have since written 2 letters to the address listed to try and solve this issue, took a survey and was told a manager would be in contact from that office, and I also attempted to contact them by e-mail. I have received no response from anyone.

I am rejecting this response because: i got one phone call and was told would reach out in 2 days been a week I'm still without a vehicle. This could of all been dealt with the first call, there is video of me driving my car in and reversing it without issues, and can see on video of when they got done i had issues getting out of reverse this is unacceptable no phone call no nothing. They didn't mention any issues when picked up the car. I feel since we bought clutch they should pay for it to be installed. This is fair. I spent over ******* just to turn around and have to buy a clutch kit 2 days later. Took 2 days to get the funds available to purchase. My car is still sitting since cannot afford to have installed but i would not be in this position if they didn't burn out my clutch.

      Sincerely,

We are in receipt of Mr. ******** additional correspondence.  Les Schwabs Risk Services Department (RSD), conducted a thorough investigation into Mr. ******** claims. According to our records, Mr. ******* brought his 2004 **** A4 (vehicle) to the tire center on September 6, 2024 to have four tires installed and an alignment performed.
The following day, a woman phoned the tire center stating the clutch was  not engaging and it had just been replaced. The tire center employees suggested she take the vehicle to the mechanic that performed the clutch installation.  She informed the tire center that Mr. ******* had replaced the clutch.
The clutch not engaging was in no way related to the tire or alignment service performed at the ********** 68 Les Schwab Tire Center.
After receiving this BBB report, *** contacted the customer who said he had replaced the clutch himself prior to the September 6, 2024 Les Schwab service and couldn't afford to take it to a shop.  As a sole gesture of customer service, the store offered to pay $250 towards the diagnosis of Mr. ******** vehicle by a third party mechanic to determine if there was something our store technician could have done to cause the clutch to burn out.
RSD informed Mr. ******* if the mechanic needed to look into the transmission further to diagnose the issue, and that if it is not something caused by Les Schwab, Mr. ******* would be responsible for any amount over $250. Mr. ******* became very verbally abusive to our *** representative and, after advising him three times to watch his language, the call had to be terminated. Les Schwab found no evidence of negligence on the part of Les Schwab or our employees and Mr. ******** claim has been denied.
Although we disagree with the allegations in Mr. ******** report and are unwilling to resolve his concerns for what he asks, we would like to assure Mr. ******* Les Schwab remains committed to providing the best service and products possible.

Received horrible service that is over torqued "**** admitted to over torquing and altering my steering column" leading to failed alignment, a waste of time. **** knowingly gave my truck back to me with an over torqued steering column and stole items out of my truck. We regret that Mr. ***** had a negative experience at the ***********************, ********. Les Schwab tire center. We take customer reports seriously and work diligently to immediately address customer concerns.
According to Les **********************'s records, Mr. ***** brought his 2007 **** F150 (vehicle) to the Arvada ******** tire center to have it aligned on August 18, 2024.  Mr. ***** informed the tire center technician that that tire center location broke a bolt during an inspection on March 18, 2024. According to Les Schwabs records, that broken bolt was completely unrelated to any work the technicians performed.  On his August 18 visit, Mr. ***** provided bolts that he intended for us to install. Les Schwab did not perform the work Mr. ***** brought the bolts in for and Les Schwabs store assistant manager forgot to put the bolts back in the vehicle after evaluating Mr. ****** claim and then performing an alignment. Mr. ***** claims we took his property. Mr. ***** also stated that his steering wheel was off after alignment. Mr. ***** was offered to bring the vehicle back to be corrected under warranty. He chose to take it to our Broomfield location to have the warranty work done, at no charge.
As a sole gesture of customer service, Les ********************** is willing to credit Mr. ****** retail credit account back for the amount he paid alignment.
Although Les Schwab respectfully disagrees with the allegations in Mr. ****** report and are unwilling to resolve his concerns for what he asks, we would like to assure him Les Schwab remains committed to providing the best products and service possible.

On August 12th 2024, I came to one of leswabs tire centers in ******** (***********************************) for technician came out with a lugnut torque wrench, i quickly asked him what is the torque and he ***lied "150 footpounds" i didnt question him because i assumed he is the expert and i am not. Started to check the torque on the passenger rear he still have to pull down alot with the torque wrench without and clicks, then all of us sudden we both hear a click but he immediately gets up and goes to the driver rear wheel and that is where he most likely snapped a stud( passenger rear wheel stud and lugnut). As he starts to check the torque he says I don't wanto continue anymore. I said "ok" because we'll there is nothing to do at this point but to take it to another shop who is more ***utable on making sure my lugnuts can be at the proper torque. I drive directly to a shop Called pep boys and asked if they can check the torque of the lugnuts because leswab could not finish it . The technician said they need to be at 130 footpounds of pressure. As one of the technicians was checking the torque he noticed one of the studs just has been snapped off (passenger rear wheel stud). I told pep boys il have to contact leswab since they are the only ones that have touched it. On August 14th, I called leswab and manager checked the footage on the specific time and claims that their technician did nothing wrong. Immediately after I called their headquarters and explained to them the situation and *** who I believe is the customer service *** or something in that nature said take it back into that shop and they will be able to assess the situation because they let their managers handle their own situations. On August 15th, took my truck back into leswab and have them assess the situation. They have denied any wrong doing and only to fix it if I pay for it. I Immediately called headquarters *** again to seek any further resolution...no answer.

According to *********************** records, Mr. ******* brought his vehicle to the tire center to have the lug nuts torqued after replacing the rear brakes himself. ***** stated Mr. ******* came back to the store the next day with a broken wheel stud  to show ***** and explained that the lug nut was cross-threaded.The store was not aware there was a problem with the cross-threaded lug nut until Mr. ******* brought it back from ********* A cross-threaded lug nut can still be torqued to the proper specification without knowing it is damaged. Sincerely,

      - Les schwab statements are completely false.

      - Assistant manager ***** did not offer recheck lugnuts and wheel studs. I asked a tech with blonde hair. Video will show proof.

      - Assistant ***** did not specify whether or not he will replace anything for free bur blatantly said he will not do anything free and only will do it but charge me. He also did not check any other lugnuts and studs at this specific time.

      - wheel stud was not cross threaded prior as I shown multiple certified techs and shop managers including dodge dealer shop. ***** has confirmed that it was damaged due to stud being over torqued.

      - As I stated previously, pep boys did not torque the lugnut due to it already broken in the hole. Video footage shows.

      - les schwab should be paying for the complete repair and any other damages including wheels if they got damaged.

      - les schwab not only got their statements incorrect it completely dishearteneds me that the fact that they can't take accountability for their own actions.

      - I encourage anyone to stay far away from this company that have only thier interest in heart.

We are in receipt of the customers additional response. As our previous response states, the store used the proper torque on the lug nuts. It is possible the damage was caused by leaving them hand-tight after the customer did his own brake repair and driving to the store with the lug nuts improperly tightened.

Went to get a tire patched. The tech while removing my tire punched a hole in it and ruined it. Tried to lie to me and said it couldnt be patched. When I said I would go elsewhere he then admitted he put a hole in it and said I couldnt leave and had to pay close to 400 for a new tire. Said the tire was weak and thats why he put a hole in it. Manager offered no solutions and tried to force me to buy a 400 tire. Last time I got one for 162. They are price gouging and forcing people to buy under false pretenses if its not safe. These are lies. I never drove on the tire with low tire pressure. He never gave be a option of a lower priced tire or tried to work with me. I have taken it to a different tire place where they also stated there was nothing wrong with the tire and they have never seen something like that. Also they quoted me half the price and didnt try to price ***** me. Hes also leaving out the part about his employees continually smiiing and laughing about ruining my tire. Again they ruined my tire then tried to charge me double. Any reputable business would reimburse some of the cost if the tire. The tech knows when my car got there it had full psi. On July 10 2024 I had a appointment with Les Schwab I had already talked to them about the issues I had faced with ********* a year 1/2 before. However, when I came up there I was told they don't check air filters or electrical. I asked how much it would be to get my tire vavle fix and he said $8. Then I asked about the windshield wiper that needed replacing; he said $25 something. So, I requested that and the free car inspection. After the hour was over and I paid I asked for my inspection information; he said it was on the sheet; not really. It was not even a real inspection from a computer. It was a called a visual inspection; then they sent a email later;which was missing battery inspection. A few days later I was putting my windshield wiper fluid on. I turned the washer on; it started spraying under the hood. I was concerned that it had messed up the electrical, engine,or belt. Thursday night July 25th 2024 I decided to locate were the windshied washer hose was; when I found it I saw that it had been ripped off and was hanging down; that was why it was spraying under the hood; I knew it was them because I checked everything even the fuse box before I gave them my car, because I don't trust them. Also, I had a new windshield wiper put on that day. After I saw that they had broken the washer I started checking the car and fuse boxes; when I got to the radiator fan area of my fuse box I saw that the fuses looked like some white stuff was on it. When I took it out there was white paste glue that was on the fuse and now stuffed down the fuse box area. When I wiped the fuse with my hand the cream was still wet; which means it was recent. It was allover my fingers. I looked up what fuse it was and it was the fuse to my keys fob lock. I know they were being smiteful; they don't have a reason to other than they are antisemetic, sexist, and evil mental socialpathic narcs. This abuse with their delusion about in and this foolishness needs to stop. I am not playing.

We regret that ************ had a negative experience at the **************************************. We take customer reports seriously and work diligently to immediately address customer concerns.
According to *********************** records, ************ brought his 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee (vehicle) to the tire center for a pre-trip safety inspection and replacement of windshield wiper blades on July 10, 2024.  Soon after receiving a copy of this report, Les Schwabs **************** Representative (CSR) contacted the store management team to conduct an investigation and forwarded the photos the customer provided with this report to them. It was agreed that the substance shown in the photos is dielectric grease, which is a corrosion preventative and is not present on all fuses in the photos. The store management team invited ************ to view the video footage of the service to show that the hood was never raised to gain access to the windshield washer nor the fuse panel. ************ declined to come to the store and view the video. Les Schwabs store manager will contact ************ in an attempt to describe what he is seeing.
Although Les Schwab respectfully disagrees with the allegations in Mr. ***** report, we would like to assure him Les Schwab remains committed to providing the best products and service possible.

I am rejecting this response because: I think that this message alone speaks volumes to the cognitive and psychological neglect the people at this store and this city has. To call me a Mr. **** you know I am a female; shows that they don't  take anything seriously and they believe that lying and playing games are more important; than being responsible adults and taking accountability. Also, I have not been contacted by them and/or refused to view anything, and there was never any video shown or mentioned  the day I had my car vandalized by these evil monsters or any other day.  I hope corporate reads there statements and makes some changes soon! This is a crime and has been reported as such.

      Sincerely,

      **************************

Took our 2015 ****** RAV4 to Les Schwab for new tires on April 24, 2024. We were told the lower control arm on driver side also needed to be replaced, so we paid to get it replaced. Got our car back and a few days later for the first time noticed a clunking noise coming from the front passenger side. Car was taken back on May 24, 2024 and were told we needed new shocks and all 4 struts. So, we paid to have them replaced. A few days later clunking noise started again on front passenger side. Went back on May 30, 2024 and they said the clunking noise was coming from the front passenger strut and since it was still under warranty they would replace it. Again, the clunking started a few days later but now on the front driver side. Took the car back on June 5, 2024 and after a lot of back and forth with the assistant manager (because according to him there was no clunking and if the manager was there, she would not do anything about it?) he agreed to keep the car overnight to figure out the problem. Next day we were told the cv axle needed to be replaced and since it was still under warranty(Les Schwab replaced it in 2023) they would take care of the replacement. Clunking noise went away for about 3 weeks then started again on front driver side. Took the car back on July 17, 2024. This time the assistant manager stated We couldnt really hear the clunking noise and cant just keep throwing new parts at it if we dont know where the problem is. We were advised to take the car back if the clunking noise became louder. Weve paid almost $3,000 to fix a clunking noise they caused after installing new tires, replacing a lower control arm, shocks, struts, and cv axle just to end up with the same clunking noise and no fix. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with their response to the issue they created and unwillingness to take ownership and make it right.

We are in receipt of the customers additional response.  According to Les Schwabs records, ****************** brought his 2015 ****** RAV4 (vehicle) to the **************************************************** location and had new shocks installed. On May 28, 2024 he returned to the tire center with a clunking noise. The technician performed a suspension check and recommended and ordered a strut for the right front. On May 30, 2024, ****************** had the right front strut replaced, the technician test drove the vehicle and heard no clunking noise after a test drive.
On June 3, 2024, the customer returned to the tire ********************** complaining the clunking noise returns when he hits a bump. The technician was not able to duplicate the sound when he test drove the vehicle. At the customers request, the tire ********************** replaced the lower control arm on the left front, free of charge pursuant to Les Schwabs warranty. On June 5th, he returned to the tire center where they warrantied out the left front cv axle, left lower control arm and left front strut due to the clunking sound the customer claimed the vehicle was experiencing. The technician again test drove the vehicle and was not able to duplicate the clunking noise.
On July 17, 2024, ****************** went back to the ***************** location and informed them the vehicle was making the same clunking noise. The technician noted a slight clunking noise when going slow speeds while turning. He also noted that while inspecting the underside of the vehicle it was full of sand, as if it had been off-roading. He noted all parts installed were tight and no movement.
On August 8, 2024, the customer visited our ******************** location and informed them he was hearing clunking sounds when driving over rough roads or bumps. The technician performed a thorough suspension check and found nothing wrong with the parts, but did hear the clunking noise. The technician  informed ****************** he had just had new complete strut assembly replaced and will be stiffer than before due to all new components. The technician noted a lot of sand under the car.  ****************** informed him he had recently gotten the vehicle stuck in the sand.
On August 13, 2024, ****************** visited our ************************ location and informed them he was still having issues with the new struts they installed. Pursuant to Les Schwabs warranty, the struts were replaced and vehicle aligned to manufacturers specifications, free of charge. The ************************ fully refunded the money ****************** paid upon signing a waiver that Les Schwab would no longer perform warranty work on the parts installed.
Although Les Schwab respectfully disagrees with the allegations in his report, we would like to assure ****************** we are committed to providing the best service and products possible.

I took in 4 brand new matte bronze wheels and 4 brand new tires to have mounted and balanced. I never had an issue there before on previous sets of wheels and tires so I assumed they would do a great job. Well they damaged 3 of my 4 wheels. The center bores are missing a bunch of the bronze powder coat finish and is now white, the inner barrel has scratches, compression marks from metal to metal on their machine, and one wheel looks like they tried to polish scratches out and is now glossy and not matte anymore. I am beyond disappointed and would like if they could replace them. I took them back to show the store manager and recorded him admitting that their machine caused this and saying that its normal and said the center caps will just cover it. I dont have center caps and thats not the point. He then said that he can have them taken to a wheel repair shop in ****** and that it would be 3-5 business days to get them back. I need them to drive my car. I asked for a refund because of the botched work which he didnt hesitate to give me but I still want them replaced with new ones.
