Wanted front brakes. Was told I needed $2800 of work (brakes/tires) but NOTHING was said about a booster. I denied all work except the brakes that I budgeted for (forced to haggle in the lobby). Coincidentally, while my car was in the technicians hands, my booster is broken and it needs $1000 to replace with the master cylinder!!! There is NO REASON TO TOUCH THE BOOSTER TO REPLACE FRONT BRAKES!! Even if my booster was going bad, it wouldn't have gone bad in a matter of hours AND it wouldn't have gotten that bad with new brakes too!! My pedal goes ALL THE WAY TO THE ******* My mechanic at ****** Automotive flat out told me the technician didn't need to touch the booster. Without the booster and the master cylinder, I CAN'T DRIVE MY CAR AND THE TECHNICIAN KNEW THIS!!! It's almost as if I'm being forced to spend money whether I want to or not. They even said they would call me with a quote for a new part.....no calls. Seems like a guilty conscience. I'm highly agitated that Les Schwab is so hard up for money that they purposely break car parts to force customers to come back. NO REASON TO TOUCH THE BOOSTER!!!! IT DOESN'T GO FROM WORKING FINE TO BROKEN IN A MATTER OF HOURS....IN YOUR HANDS, NOT MINE. I'm taking my truck into my regular mechanic and he's going to do a thorough check of my car today.

On December 12th, I went to Les Schwab at ***************************************** for New wheels, tires, brake inspection, and a pre trip safety inspection. On the 13th I went for an alignment for my truck. The wheels and tires cost $2,101.58 Les Schwab unmounted my old wheels and mounted new wheel onto my truck, they assured me I was safe to go on a trip after the installation. 2 days later on the 15th while I was on my way to drive home, I heard cluncking noises coming from the front end of my vehicle. I pulled over to inspect and found that my brake caliper on my passenger front side was off and scratched the inside of my new wheel. Fortunately I or anyone wasn't hurt.. this was on a Sunday and the business was closed. The next morning, I called Les Schwab and told them about the situation, they denied having any involvement with my brakes and claim that they only visually inspected my brakes.. I asked how they conduct a pre trip safety check and they responded with a we only visually inspect that your components are on correctly. So how is that a pre trip safety check? If this were to happen on the freeway while going at faster speeds.. there could have been a worse outcome. Luckily I was only in town and moving at slow speeds, and no one was hurt. Unfortunately the business didnt accept fault and hadnt reached out trying to resolve my problem.

I took my car to this store on 12/6 because there was a noise coming from the front side. I asked them to check the brakes and other components for safety. I also asked them to rotate the tires. I was standing outside, watching my car from outside the store. The technician removed all four tires but did not check anything, then put the tires back on. He didnt even rotate the tires. I went inside the store and told the front desk that they were supposed to rotate the tires as well, and he stated that they already had. I told him that they had not, as I had been waiting outside and watching my car. Then, the front desk went there and asked the tech to rotate the tires, and as a result, I had to wait for another 35 minutes. I also told the front desk that if they have any cameras inside the facility, he should check them to see what his technician did and did not do, and the front desk employee was rude as well. The technician came and said they didnt find any issues except with the brake calipers. I asked them to fix that, and I would pay for it, but they denied. I am very disappointed with their services, they did charge me $35.96 as well.

July 7th, 2024. $1,100 spent. They were to help me select the best tires for my car. I specifically asked for All Season tires. The first time, they put on too large of tires. Then I had to wait all day for them to put the correct tires on. Yesterday we had a bad snow/ice storm. My tires have zero traction, not safe or functional. I called to ask what tires they put on my vehicle, turns out they put summer performance only tires. Even if I werent to have asked for All Season, why would they put Summer *********** only tires unless its a convertible or another vehicle only being driven in the summer, not on a car that is being driven in horrible ND winter weather. I went in this morning to address the situation and they were no help. I havent put very many miles on these tires, theyre still like brand new. They only offered me $50 to trade in my tires and then told me I would have to just buy a new set, which is another $1200-1500. I cannot afford another set just because they took advantage of me, an 18 yr old girl, going in there alone, thinking i dont know what im talking about.

November 14th 5pm Had tires and rims installed improper and they let me drive off with lose rear wheels not only causing damage to my vehicle but risking my life by driving over 65mph like that. Manager **** never once apologized for it just told me my rims are damaged and I need new ones. I had to leave work early and get a tow truck. They took my old rims and gave me some money for the damage but wouldnt give me my old rims back just told me they bought them from me then banned me from the store because my father posted the damages on ********. So I now have damages to my leaf springs and back with my stock tires and wasted a lot of time and gained a lot of stress.

I scheduled an appointment for a flat repair, tire rotation, and oil change at the *********************************** location for Saturday November 2, 2024. During the oil change, the technician ******* came inside and said that the oil filter was stuck and the last place to change my oil tightened it too much. He said that he did not want to continue trying to remove it because he didn't want to be responsible for any damage caused. He suggested returning to the location of the last oil change to have them replace the filter. He said he would put new oil in to replace the old oil that had been drained. We paid around $53 for the new oil and $44 for labor fees. They parked my car in front of the store and we left. We drove 3.2 miles before feeling something drag underneath the car, upon getting out of the car we could smell oil and noticed that there was oil splatter all over the car. My husband looked under the car and found that the skid plate was hanging off of the car because it was not secured by whoever completed the service. Oil was leaking from the filter cap. We took the car to a les schwab at a different location (**********/southlands- 5 miles from where we stopped) where they made the necessary repairs. They said the oil filter cap was stripped. I called the ****** location to request a refund and *******, using a very condescending tone, suggested that I received what I paid for. I lost half a day to their negligence, I had to cancel two jobs I had scheduled as well as pay for additional transportation. I believe that the service wasn't completed, in full, due to the filter cap and skid plate not being secured upon their claimed completion of the oil change. I would like to receive a refund for the oil and labor fees I was charged for and lost due to their negligence. Additionally, there is no telling what long term damage this caused to the engine, I would like for them to cover the cost of an inspection through a ************** center.

Les Schwab Tires is an excellent company. I have a little complaint regarding credit reporting. My son was added to my account last year, and we've been making regular payments on the account's current charges. His credit report hasn't been updated with the Les Schwab account information for some reason. Several months ago, I even called the corporate office, and they said it was updated. Several months have passed, and nothing has been reported to the credit bureau. You can locate the account information with my contact info in this complaint. Thanks.

According to *********************** records, Ms. ***** called our ***************** (Credit) on August 6, 2024. It was found that Ms. ****** name and that of her co-applicant's name was entered incorrectly.  That issue was quickly corrected and sent to the Credit Bureaus on September 2, 2024.
Les Schwab sends each file to the three credit bureaus on the first day of the new month, for the prior month reporting. This may take anywhere from 30 to 45 days to update the customer information.  The report was sent again on October 1 and November 1, 2024 to the credit bureaus.  It should be noted that the co-applicant was three years old at the time the account was opened and the update is retroactive to the open date for both people.  It is unclear if the credit bureaus are blocking giving the co-applicant 19 years of credit history when he is now 22 years old. Credit will continue tracking and getting the co-applicant to report.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused Ms. ***** and sincerely thank her for her patience.
