In November I purchased 4 new tires for our travel trailer , and had new wheel bearings installed and packed. The first trip out in January, 3 of the 4 bearing dust caps came off on our drive to *********. This has never happened to us before and is obviously a result of them not being installed correctly. We called Les Schwab, and they agreed to cover the cost of the caps, but not the cost of labor to remove the tires and make the repair. There is no Les Schwab in the **************-and we are not comfortable making the trip home before fixing the problem. We have been Les Schwab customers for many years because of their customer service. Because they are not standing behind their work, we will take all of our future business elsewhere.

Around the beginning of December, 2023, one of the tires on my car started to leak air continuously, rendering it useless. I took the tire to Les Schwab, hoping to have them simply fix the leak, but I was informed that the tire was too worn to be replaced. I was surprised by this, as I had purchased all four tires from Les Schwab no more than two years prior. Nevertheless, I was willing to go forward with getting new tires for the vehicle, as I had been issued a warranty of ****** miles on the previous tires that I purchased. Considering this, I figured that I would be at least given some substantial credit toward my new tire purchase, yet I was immediately informed that they would not honor my warranty, despite me not having passed the ****** mile limit. Their reasoning regarding why my warranty would not be honored was due to the nature of the wear on the tires, as they claim this was produced by an alignment issue. Les Schwab, however, are the only ones to have ever aligned these tires in any capacity, leading me to believe that they should be held completely responsible for this wear as well. Regardless, I was forced to pay the full price for my new set of tires despite having a perfectly valid warranty that should have covered this. I strongly believe that I am owed at least a partial refund congruent to what my warranty would have initially covered.

11/2023 - My son took his Dodge Dakota truck in for a New Set of 5 tires. Shortly afterwards he heard rubbing on the inside of the driver's tire, but wasn't able to determine the issue. Last night the tire went flat, when a family friend removed the tire, he discovered that the brake has been disconnected from the caliper and caused damage to the rim. The brakes were brand new replaced in 08/2023. I called Les Schwab and spoke to ******* who just said it wasn't their fault. 08/2021 - I took my **** ***** Chateau in to have the tires checked before a Road Trip to Southern **********, on the same day, we had a tire blow out on I-5 in *********, **. 07/2021 - I had a tire on my 2007 ****** Forester repaired, that tire kept loosing air afterwards, and when I took it in, I was told that it was a bead leak due to debris on the rim and that I would have to take it home and remove the tire from the rim myself and clean it. That is a total of 3 vehicles that I have had issues with this business, and they always claim they have nothing to do with it. I thought after 2 years they would have hired better employees, but I'm starting to understand it's not the employees. I have taken my vehicles to other locations, like the one in ****************, **, and was told that they have had numerous complaints about the ******** location. I still have issues with my ****** tire not holding air, I had to pay $1000 to a Les Schwab in ********* after the tire blow out on I-5, and the brake on the Dodge Dakota has sustained damage to it. I'm only seeking for things to be made right, I will never return to the ******** location. 1 vehicle is an oversight, 2 is a coincidence, but 3 is negligence. That location as a whole needs to be investigated.

I bought a brand new battery for my Mustang and it was supposed to be guaranteed. I took it in because it was not working properly and they said it was not the battery, before the warranty was up, did not put in the computer I was there! Decided It must be something else and now that my car will no longer start its past the time where I can get it just replaced and they refused to replace it. I have been a customer for more than 40 years with my husband and his family and theyre going to lose me forever. Prior to this I bought brand new set a tires for my car before I even drove it. 20 miles. My car blew up and they wouldnt help me resell them or take them back even though they were brand new I ended up paying almost $500 for them. Theyre still sitting in my moms garage. I am disabled. I live on about $900 a month so done. I dont actually remember how much money I paid for the battery, but I made payments on those tires for a long time and never use them because they didnt fit my new car.

Date of service: 11.4.23 Start time:9:55am End time:7:41 pm Work done: Struts (Front) Shocks (rear)Rear Brakes and and alignment Problems not seen or heard until 11.23.23 Problem: broken wheel stud. I assume the person doing the repairs, put the tire on, grab the air wrench and overtighten it and it snapped off. On the visual inspection report, there was no notation that there was a broken wheel stud. No mention of when I picked the car up. As you can see in the picture the stud is shiny and has no rust buildup that would indicate that it was like that previously. When I asked how much it would cost to fix it, I was told $476.00 (it needs a new part to fix it properly). Im not paying for that to happen. They broke it, they need to fix it. Problem 2: on 12.10.23 I noticed that when I over the speed bumps in my apartment complex I heard a noise that should not have been there. From the factory it has a rubber cap that sits on each upper strut to prevent water or other contaminants to get in there. Those were never put on nor was I given them or told that they wouldnt fit back on there. Problem 3: the bolts (2 smaller ones on either side of the big one were not tight. See the video.

This customer came in requesting an inspection. He requested this inspection due to a recent impact on a curb.  (noted on the invoice prior to the service). The store did not service anything that could cause a leak in his power steering pump. The customer left and returned due to his power steering pump being dry. At this time, the store added power steering fluid, recommending that he take his vehicle back to the dealership that just serviced his rack/pinion and power steering pump. ***** explained to AJ that he had a power steering fluid leak prior to taking it to the dealership. They fixed the power steering pump and returned his vehicle. It still leaked, so he took it back. At this time they found a bad seal, which they replaced. The rack/pinion in the vehicle appears to be replaced recently and it is leaking from the top. At this time, we recommend ***** take his vehicle back to the dealership that just serviced this part.

No money was exchanged for their Work and They gave me no warning either that it needed repair and had no Power Steering Fluid in it!

I just wanted to warn others of their Business practices!

I will cross them off my list of good Auto Shops to Trust!

Sorry for the Ruckus, but they did give me back an UN-drivable Car and they shouldnt do that to anyone!!!

You can close this complaint if will!

I am concerned before I do accept Les Schwabs response to my complaint due to the statement that a warranty for work performed on my truck does not transfer to vehicle owners. What does that statement mean? I purchased my truck new, I am the original owner. I purchased my truck from ****** Chevrolet in ****** **. In 2007. Do I need to provide the work that had to be performed on my vehicle due to A lift that was improperly installed? **************** took responsibility for several of the repairs without cost. But there is not **************** anymore. ************************** purchased the business. It is just plain wrong for me  to continue to pay for repairs that will never bring my truck to safety. My truck will only be safe if the lift is replaced with the proper aftermarket parts installed. This has been a hardship. And it has put not only my life in danger, my passengers and also any pedestrians or other vehicles on the road. I have lost one year of work due to not being able to afford the repairs on my truck anymore. ************** Les Schwab on ********************* in ********** **.  is the business that improperly installed the 6" lift on my truck. I need to know whom is responsible for my truck never being a safe vehicle. I purchased a $ **** extended warranty on my truck that was void due to my truck being an altered vehicle. And all of the components that needed to be fixed are all directly related to my truck lift being faulty. I can provide any information needed about all of the repairs on my truck. I can also have a service technician from ************************** explain that my truck has been parked there for over 1 year, they will agree that my truck lift is faulty and can provide that information better than I can relay it. What do I need to provide to make sure that I will finally have a safe vehicle. And why is Les Schwab not going to be responsible for the reason my truck is not a safe vehicle, and why is my being the vehicle owner of my truck mean that the work done by Les Schwab on my vehicle not be warranted? I cannot accept the response from the business unless they can answer my concerns first. Having complete steering loss happen to me three times due to a ****** arm failing is a deadly situation. I am not responsible for these failures. I have maintained my truck beautifully. And have had monetary issues in my life due to the constant truck repairs. I need my truck back and it to be a safe truck. Thank you

Like in July I took my truck to Les. Suave to get a 6 inch lift on it. They told me that I needed for an end work. That would be an additional $1600 so that made it add up to 40 twothey return my vehicle. With the exhaust, cut off of it. All the bolts lose half the work not done instead of changing my oil. They spray painted my oil filter to make it look new. My car will never pass the smog again. It was just smog 2 weeks prior and pasked. They left bolt dangerously loose for my whole front end to fall off. It is still not right. My truck still has exhaust leaks. Drives all over the road and is loose. And I am terrified to drive it anywhere far. Afraid that it's just gonna come undone. It goes down the road sideways now and rattles and has no alignment. And everything rattling. I have taken it back 6 2 get it fixed. They have found many bolts that have been loosed stripped out. Never tightened the front end work was never dand they were supposed to change the front end and never did. They tried to do the exhaust 3 times and it still leaks and won't pass smog. I paid good money for this and just because I was a girl. They thought they could get away with it. My truck is a piece of c*** now. And it's not even safe to be on the road. I've heard many complaints about them. Another person told me that they didn't tighten up the bolts when they did their lift kit and the whole front end fell off and they sued them and got $65000. I'm gonna see you next. Because I just bought this truck and I wanted it fixed up nice. So I thought I would give something in ****** a try. So it would better our town. Well, I can see you now that that aint right. ***** *************** is the worst store you could ever go to.
