A business who does not have the consumer's best interest. Totally geared to charge premium prices or not interested in your business. This is not the first time that they have made me feel that they wouldn't care one way or the other if they did you wrong and you left unsatisfied. I would never recommend them to anyone. Ever!!Les Schwab Tire Center

They lied about front brake pads, saying they were bad(not true). But they destroyed the entire braking system in the back(trying to pry the back drum off). It cost 700 dollars to fix. I found all this out when I took it in for a second opinion. Don't take your car there.Les Schwab Tire Center

Awful customer service. I have always paid my tires off early and recently bought a winter set and a set for summer and spring. I always pay my tires off early. I was late a week or two because my travel job started later than normal. I called and let them know itd be late and I paid the payment immediately. I even notified them. I received a nasty letter saying I owed ****** which was not true because I made the payment. The letter was so nasty saying Im still late. My payment isnt due until the 15th. I will pay these tires off and I will never use them again. Stay away from this company when they cannot be friendly and say youre late when you are not, tells me they cannot even do math. Sleazy company. When it slows down which it will, I hope they close. Stay away from a company that cant do basic math. I will be telling all my PT friends that drive for a living to stay away from this sleazy company.Les Schwab Tire Center

2 starsI had a flat tire, and it was found that the tire needed replacing. In March 2019 I had purchased NEW TIRES and had only driven less than ****** on those tires. I was told that I would need to replace ALL 4 tires as it was an all wheel drive vehicle. I chose the GOOD tires, not the BETTER or BEST (a lower version of what I had on my car, but still good for ****** miles). I paid near $700 to have new tires put on as well as a few minor other things. When we drove home, my husband looked over our Mach 2019 paperwork and found that THOSE tires were under warranty. We had to drive BACK to the *******, Oregon, Lew Schwab and show our paperwork for a refund even though the COMPUTER SYSTEM at Les Schwab SHOWED the purchase & guarantee. That was frustrating. Why couldn't they have lowered the price due to warranty while we were there in the first place. My guess is that is how they make extra money.Review fromDaniel T

The wheels and tires were stolen from our **** ******** and we had ******* store come out to replace paying nearly $2,500. The car was driven very little over a few months when the wheels were stolen again and we had them come out and do it again. This time we noticed an unusual noise when driving and we had the car towed to a ******* mechanic who identified that the wheels do not fit correctly and rub on the insides on all 4. They need to be corrected but the down town ******* store refused to send any one out to check the problem. The car is not drivable and was being used by a handicapped senior friend who has been without a car for months. We contacted our near by **********, Idaho store about the problem and the manager left a voice mail which we still have saying the ******* store will send someone out to identify the problem. We called and the manager denied saying this. One of them is lying. We then called corporate in Oregon who promised to get back to us and did not. He said he has no control over the stores. What is he there for then? We have since decided to resolve the problem with our mechanics help. It is by far the worst customer service ever and we will spread the word to everyone we know. When you read the response to one star reviews there is always an excuse rather than a solution. Same is expected from them. They just want the money and don't care what happens to the customer. Save your money and aggravation they give. There are good tire service stores out there too. This is not one of them. STAY AWAY!Les Schwab Tire Center

4 starsI went to a store on the coast of ** to have rear tires balanced as I noticed a slight vibration while traveling across the state. One thing lead to another, and I needed a little work done. I picked up my vehicle and drove back to my condo. The next morning, we loaded up to return to the east side of the state. I got about 250 miles down the road, and the rear wheel came loose and tried to fall off!! It was not torqued properly. It broke one stud clear off. I was able to **** the vehicle up, and tighten the 4 remaining lug nuts, and limped the vehicle home on I-90 the remaining 120 miles or so, stopping every 10 miles or so to check the lug nuts...they did not come loose again. The following day after returning home, I called the corporate office, and spoke with *****. He addressed the issue, and reached out to the store on the coast, and also my store near my home. They took good care of me, and managers of both stores were very happy it all turned out ok. My labor cost was refunded, and my vehicle was repaired and fully inspected locally, and new lug nuts all around with no charge to me. I want to thank *****, corporate, ****, ********, ****** and ****, *******. I realize things happen, and going above and beyond to take care of the issue was appreciated. This could have been way worse, or deadly at 70mph. Fortunately, it was just a big inconvenience, and not a bad car wreck. I have been a customer off and on for over *********************************************** the future.Review fromLawinyan A

BBB Review - Aimonnya
We regret that Aimonnya had a negative experience with the ****************, **** Les Schwab Tire Center. We take customer reports seriously and work diligently to immediately address customer concerns.
According to *********************** records, Mr. ******** visited the tire center and informed the store manager he had to have a brush removed from his tire when the tire center repaired the tire on his vehicle. Mr. ******** showed a video from the dealership showing his ****** Tacoma. Les Schwab has no record of ever servicing a ****** Tacoma for Mr. ******** and has not performed any service for Mr. ******** since May 2019.
Although Les Schwab respectfully disagrees with the allegations in Aimonnyas report, we would like to assure Aimonnya that Les Schwab remains committed to providing the best service and products possible.Review fromJeffrey H

5 starsI was driving a newly purchased RV all over ******** I was down 20 pounds on my tires, but I couldn't find the air stem to fill them up. It turned out to be a tricky job. The team at Les Schwab in **********, ** came right out to help me, no waiting. The job took about a half an hour, and they didn't even charge me. I was so grateful. I was treated like a king the entire time. I look forward to buying my next set of tires from Les Schwab.Review fromMegan R

I have to say, *** never been more disrespected then by the manager, ****. I had an alignment done, but when I drove away, the steering wheel was crooked and the vehicle pulled to the right. I went back and spoke with ****, who continued to question and disregard my concerns. I asked why my car wasnt test drove, like the one right before mine, and he used the excuse that it was 15 minutes before closing. Mind you, they made my appointment for 4pm, and my car wasnt worked on until 4:40pm, so the fact that it was almost closing time didnt seem like a reason to rush a job you were late on starting. I have been to this location many many times, and have never felt like such a piece of trash, all thanks to ****. Everyone else has been pleasant to work with, and seem to know the value of customer service more than the manager. It all stems from the top, and if this is what management is like, I can only imagine the employee moral. I should have listened when others in the community were having issues with this location, but now I know better.Les Schwab Tire Center

If there was an option to leave no stars, I would. I paid cash for a set of tires and they stole our money and registered our account as if we financed the tires while denying taking our cash payment. We were dumbfounded when we found out that we had an additional balance as we had financed one set of tires on our first car. We tried to ask if they could check the security cameras and they told ** they only go back 3 weeks. Conveniently on top of that, they said the employee who handled our account didn't work there anymore. I REFUSE to pay $3000 for $1500 tires. The only option I have left is to file a small claim in order to remedy this.Les Schwab Tire Center

BBB Case **********
We regret that ***************** had a negative experience with the ****************, ********** Les Schwab Tire Center. We take customer reports seriously and work diligently to immediately address customer concerns.
According to *********************** records, **************** purchased four new tires for a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee on December 16, 2022. **************** paid $200 cash and then applied for and opened a retail credit account charging the remainder of the cost of the tires to his credit account in the amount of $1,409.64. He made the minimum monthly payment on his credit account in January and February. On February 28, 2023, **************** returned to the tire center and purchased four new tires for a 2017 **** Explorer. **************** charged the cost of the new tires and installation to his retail account in the amount of $1,549.53 and signed the invoice showing the charge. He made a payment in the amount of $300 on March 31, 2023 and another $300 payment on April 25, 2023.
We have conducted a thorough investigation and determined that Les Schwab has no record of receiving a cash payment for Mr. and ******************* purchase on February 28, 2023. Additionally, **************** signed the attached invoice stating that the entire amount of his purchase on February 28, 2023 would be charged to his credit account.
Although ********************** respectfully disagrees with the allegations in ******************* report and are unwilling to resolve her concerns for what she asks, we would like to assure ***************** that Les Schwab remains committed to providing the best service and products possible.Maggie M

I paid for the tires in full with cash on February 28, 2023. We attempted to charge the cost of the tires to my account at ********************** but were told by an employee that I couldn't finance a second set of tires until I had paid off at least half of the money owed for the tires on the Jeep Grand Cherokee. After reading your policies, it specifies record keeping of any credit report that is run. My wife also tried to finance tires around that time for the **** Explorer. She was denied financing. I believe you would have a record of this in your system. I have a bank statement showing proof that I withdrew funds from my bank account to pay for the tires for the **** Explorer. The fact that we asked for the camera footage from Les Schwab to verify our case and were conveniently told the footage only went back 3 weeks is an issue that needs to be addressed. The footage would clearly show that I handed a cash payment in the amount of $1,560.00 to an employee named ****. I signed what I thought was a receipt I was being handed. It was a poor decision on my part to not thoroughly read the entire printout. I did not think I'd have to worry about theft from a company like Les Schwab. What took place on February 28, 2023, is theft. An employee at Les Schwab stole $1,560.00 from my wife and I. The truth is Les Schwab doesn't want to acknowledge the possibility that one of their employees stole from a customer. Doing so would reveal how poorly this particular branch of Les Schwab in Lake Tahoe is managed. This case of theft will be shared with everyone we know. We know the truth of what happened. We spoke to the employee who told ** we were unable to finance the tires for the Explorer, the reason for ** paying in cash. She was able to recall telling ** the tires couldn't be financed yet here we are now....
