I placed an order for a gift basket on August 29. I paid extra $$ to have it delivered by August 31. It was never delivered. I checked the order status on line and there is no status update available. I was unable to successfully open a Chay on line so I called them. The automated system stated that the order exists but that I have to speak with a customer service representative for resolution. This company already received the payment of $190.97 from my ****** account. I called the company, waited more than 1/2 hr and then opted to receive a call back from the company. At this point. I would like to be refunded the entire amount paid, as my family will be out of town later this week, for more than a week. I believe that this is a fair request, since the company failed to deliver the product as promises.Please help!Respectfully, *********************************Business Response

I placed two gift orders on August 14, 2024 through ***************************************. Their order tracking website said the delivery date for both of my orders was August 19, 2024. Today is September 3, 2024 and both of my gifts are still not delivered! I've had to follow up thrice already on their online chat system. Each time, the wait period for an assistant was between 20 to 40 minutes. In my first follow up chat, the assistant said that they saw both my orders in the system but they were not yet picked up by shipping due to some issues in the backend and I would be notified as soon as shipping picked up. In my second follow up chat, they said the system was undergoing major upgrade until end of August and I'd be notified as soon as shipping picked up after the system came back up. I asked for regular status updates but they said it was not possible. In my third follow up chat today, the assistant said that my orders were lost in transit and they would need to re-initiate my orders. I asked what the *** was, and they said soonest possible, still no ***! This was a very bad system experience and I've wasted my valuable time just trying to understand where my orders were, never really getting a straightforward answer!Business Response

I am am a passport customer. I've ordered 3 gifts from ********************** and ********************** over the last 4 months. EACH ORDER WAS SCREWED UP. I've attempted to contact ***** each time and I've been placed on hold for as Ling as 2 hours without resolution or return call. There is no customer service telephone number, they do not call back as they say they will. I want compensation for all my purchases AND refund of my passport fee!!!Business Response

I order cherries on July 30th. I was told that in 10 days I would receive a credit. I was told that the cherries were sold out and they would need to refund me. I have tried to contact them through their chat feature. I tried for 2 days. I was told that I could use the website, there is nothing on the website that would assist me with the question I had. I was told I would be called that day. No one called me. I used the chat feature and said I wanted a phone number. I finally got a phone number, and the automated message said it is a 3 hour wait. They should be able to tell me when they will finally be giving me a credit. I have waited 30 days when it should have taken 10 days.Business Response

A "Deluxe Pears, Apples, and Cheese" was delivered today, August 30th. I was home and immediately opened the package. The three included cheeses were melted. No dry ice was included in this shipment. There was one apple with 3 large soft/bad spots on it. This was supposed to be part of my daughter's birthday gift for today. I have occasionally ordered from Harry & David for over 20 years, and they have always stood behind their products and replaced them whenever there was an issue. I immediately called Harry & David. The recording said that the hold time was over 2 hours. I continued to hold, hoping it might be less time. I also went to the website and started an online chat with a wait time of 40 minutes. I was on hold for 2 hours and 7 minutes on the phone and then the call was disconnected. I was waiting online but did have to run to the kitchen for literally three minutes and that call was disconnected. I immediately started the chat over and the wait time was then 80 minutes. I feel that Harry & David is trying to avoid taking any calls to have to replace any orders. I am done trying to reach Harry & David, which I feel that is what they hope their customers will do.Business Response

I had placed an order with Harry&David for a gift basket for a friend's wedding. The order number was ********** for $210.14 The order was placed on 08/24/2024. My wife and I then checked our bank account and noticed that the exact amount was charge on 08/27/2024 and then again on 08/9/2024. I finally went online and canceled the order. My wife was on hold for a representative with the chat service from the website with a wait time of 40 minutes and 51 seconds starting at 3:31pm. I am currently on hold withthe phone number with a wait time of 4 hours. As of 4:27 today, the agent did not appear and chat was ended and now thw screen shot is 80 minute wait time and now the phone cell ended without any resolution.Business Response

Ordered a gift for my neighbor from them on 8/21/24. It was supposed to be delivered on or before 8/26/24. It still hasn't even shipped. For the last two days I've tried to contact customer service via their online chat, which will tell me I'm in queue to chat with a representative. Then after 2 hours of waiting it just ends the chat and disconnects. This has happened 3 times. I tried calling and the automated answering line said there was a 7 hour wait time. The only other option to contact customer service is mail which is useless. At this point I'm mad, and feeling like I was scammed out of $105.87.Business Response

I ordered next day delivery 8/16 for 8/19 and nothing. Tried to get ahold of them and can't. Despite my requests to opt out of their mailing list when purchasing wine as gifts for clients, this company has continued to ******* me with unwanted emails.
