      I purchased two orders for Christmas presents from Harry and Davids. 1st order arrived at location no issues second order did not arrive. When trying to track they had given my order the same tracking # ad another customers order. My package went to someone else. I called multiple times including sending several emails and each time being told my package was on the way. They bilked me, never delivered and after the last call told me they had already sold out of my product I had paid for. No resolution still.

      They charged my account for a separate charge. ($201 and $139) **************** refused to acknowledge this. Said I had one order with two products. I had one order with 3 products. Separate charge was a different amount and charged later over night. Both charges have been pending in my account for three days. I will not be buying anything from their company or their affiliates. Horrible business practices and worse customer service.

      I received a gift that arrived spoiled. When I contacted Harry & David to try to resolve this, it resulted in an ongoing ordeal that has since required 3 phonecalls, and over 15 email exchanges so far, yet there is still no resolution two weeks later (unless I'm willing to wait 3 weeks for a replacement or pay out of my pocket for "expedited shipping" [still ten days]). Each time they respond its another mistake, such as sending me the order information, and related personal details for people I do not know (major security redflag), and they made this mistake at least three times, then addressed me by the wrong name, wrong package, etc. They have now resorted to just copy and paste replies. The customer "service" team is woefully incompetent, and just abysmal.

      HORRIBLE to non-existant customer service. After numerous phone calls and emails, I never got the assistance I needed. I wanted to send gifts from my father's estate after DECADES of annual gifts from him during his lifetime. There is no way to reach any person except useless sales personnel who don't even have a reliable corporate phone number. Too bad! They lost a loyal customer. We liked the pears. NEVER AGAIN!

      Botched a Thanksgiving Day order TWICE in two weeks. Spent many minutes explaining to customer service that I needed the order delivered on the day before Thanksgiving. They sent the first order a week before the holiday. Then after complaining and another 30 minute call, they said a replacement would be sent on the proper day. Luckily I expected them to mess it up and they surely did. No replacement package. A waste of 120 bucks. Service has really fallen off at Harry and David's and I won't do business with them again. This coincides with a huge advertising blitz this holiday season. Don't be fooled. This company is terrible now.

      Ordered a small Christmas tree ($150) for my brother recovering from cancer treatment. Notified shipper was ****** Turns out ***** surepost. Got notice of delivery at 10:18pm (!) with a blank photo. My poor brother made numerous trips downstairs to check. There is no package. Who ships a $$$ live tree @ 24lbs this way? Disgraceful!

      Had a very difficult chat session about an order placed an hour before.....simple request to modify one order took over 1/2 hr. and I am not sure my request really will be executed. Where oh where is the person behind the chat program ? on the moon ?Harry and David you had better improve your customer relations...

      I placed an order for approximately $200 and Harry and David are not only holding that amount, but an additional $176. I saw no mention of this practice while ordering. Will not use them again.

      One day, I just started receiving Harry and David emails. I thought to myself, how could this be - I've never signed up to receive their emails or made a purchase. So, I followed the verification process on their site and unsubscribed from all emails. In the following days, weeks, months, I kept receiving their emails and I kept unsubscribing from them. How odd, I never opted in to receive them and have unsubscribed many times now. So then, using the chat on their website, I asked to be unsubscribed and the agent confirmed I would not receive them again. The next week, guess what - an email from H&D arrived in my inbox. So, using the chat function again - i asked to be removed, but the agent, *******, was not helpful in unsubscribing me without verifying my account. I 've never made an account, and therefore cannot verify an account. I asked to escalate the matter to a supervisor three times, he did not, but he gave me a number to call. All this to stop receiving their emails, that i should mention again - i never opted in to receive and have unsubscribed from several times on their site.
