Sent dead flowers a week late for Mother's Day. When asked for a replacement, they got the order wrong and those flowers were dead, too. They sent a windchime instead of a bottle of sparking ***************************. Worst customer service ever.Harry & David

Harry and David's took and ADDITIONAL, unauthorized amount of money ($103) out of my account to "hold" for 5 to 7 business days. This is essentially THEFT. Their Products are grossly overpriced, Their shipping costs are price gouging. Will never use this untrustworthy company again, and would caution anyone to do the same if you don't like companies going into your accounts and taking what they want for however long they want.Harry & David

Ordered gift basket for Administrative Assistant Day. Paid extra for delivery on that specific day. It was delivered a week early. Even after calling and complaining the only thing they would do was refund the extra shipping fee. I will never use them again. It's like getting a birthday gift in someone else's birthday. Should have been fully refunded. Embarrassed at work. Not cool. Will shop local next time with people who understand a calendarHarry & David

BUYER BEWARE!Harry & David is now owned by 1-800-Flowers and is not the company it used to be. Ordered Valentine ******* for my son on Feb. 4 and delivery was guaranteed on or before Valentines Day on the 14th. They were not delivered. I called and spoke with someone I could barely understand and was assured a refund and told that the cookies had already shipped and would be there the next day. A package arrived the next day and was nothing even resembling what I had ordered! No cookies, no valentines, not even a heart! The package contained coffee, a scone and English muffins which I never would have ordered for my son. Chatted online with someone with very poor grammar skills for almost an hour yesterday and had to call again today because I still have no refund.I believe the company is committing fraud and stealing people's money. I will never use them again and will not do business with 1-800-FLOWERS either.BUYER BEWARE!Harry & David

I only give 1 star cause 0 is not an option. So we received a box from this business as a gift from a family member. To start with, was labeled pears. I whish I would've taken a picture when I opened to see what's in! So no ice pack, perishable soft cheese (blue cheese and uncured cheddar),small piece of salami, and cheap crackers and such. How about thinking twice before trying food poisoning your clients? Obviously the cheeses were looking bad, so everything went straight into the trash except 1 pear my kid snatched (there were 2 pears also in the box). Can't the health department look into this people's business? Everything in that box was cheap and purchased from a separate vendor, being smart at dumb people's expense is not a crime unless unsafe practices are used that put public health in danger.Harry & David

My shipment was late, after multiple emails the problem was sorted out, and Harry and David's staff went above and beyond to correct a problem and to exceed my expectations. I ordered a basket for my family that ended up being 2 days late. I was concerned about it having set for almost a week and being late; I was afraid that the fruit may rot. They agreed to upgrade my basket to a nicer one, refund me the shipping costs. In the process of managing all this they not only shipped the first basket, but sent a second of the smaller basket , along with the upgraded basket. My family was astonished as well as overwhelmed by all the goodies. They really stand behind satisfying the customer. If you have a problem just give them a reasonable way to make amends and they will.Harry & David

I just wanted assistance getting my grandmothers address adjusted for the 2nd time with yall since you mashed up my billing address with her address and ***** twice called me stating the address they were given from Harry and David was a non-existing address. Contacted last week about the first time and was told it was fixed and would be delivered by 12/23. Then today on 12/28 ***** called me again saying the address was still put in wrong by Harry & David. My Grandfather just passed and I just wanted to get my grandmother a sweet treat for her first holiday alone. I've ordered from your company so many times in the past and never had such a terrible experience. Today contacting was terrible ******* wouldn't respond to me for over 20 min. Even after I said hello to make sure they were still there. Then disconnected from me when I asked for a manager. I just want my money back at this point so I can find a new company to send my grandmothers gift to.Harry & David

Fraud! They are selling items they KNOW they do not have and then sending substitute items. They sent 100% bread (muffins and loafs) in place of the fruits/sweets ordered. Due to gluten allergies, none of the breads can be eaten. When I called to complain and try to get a resolution, they HUNG UP on me. The worst is that they know the items they are out of stock and are taking orders anyway; then sending non-comparable items. FRAUD!Harry & David

On 12/14 I ordered a coffee and tea basket for Christmas for a friend to give to his girlfriend who is also a friend to me and my husband. I had it scheduled to arrive at their front door step on Christmas Eve. Me and my husband called two times before then because a week before Christmas our bank app told us H&D reimbursed us. H&D told us it was coming. Well Christmas Eve came and my friend never received her basket. I felt so bad. Thursday I did received an email that it was shipped and I thought for sure she wouldve gotten it. Today I checked where it was at on Fed Ex tracking. The label was printed in **** on Thursday and was shipped to ********* on the 27th. I am stunned. Because we live in Whitehall **. Me and my husband deal with H&D before and never had this problem. **************** was always great before this. In fact one time they replaced a box of oranges for us because my husband complained that the oranges tasted too bitter. This time we are so disappointed and most likely will never ordered from them again.Harry & David

Never-never-NEVER give Harry & Davids customer service your debit or credit card when correcting or making an order. I had a dual order going out for around $500. One to ******** and one to ******** purchased online for Christmas delivery and paid thru my Paypal account. ***** delivered the ******** order to an 'office' and a 'D *********' signed for it. I sent both to a personal home address and they would not tell me the office. I tracked down the delivery was talking to ***** customer service when everything connected to that order dissappeared on my computer screen. Hhhmmm?I then contacted Harry & Davids customer service getting someone named ****** on the phone. Strong Jamacian accent with a lot of noise in the background. She was extremely helpful and gave me credit for the lost order. However upon a reorder that she did, she requested my credit card number to which I unwillingly gave my debit card number. I wanted her to bill the Pay Pal account she just gave credit for the lost order but she stated that they don't have that access and needed my number to complete the order. The next day I check my bank account to balance items and found 5 unidentifiable charges on my account. Upon my computer research they were tickets to a Jamacian Concert in FL and hotel stays plus a double charge for the order she placed. OK!! When i recontacted customer service at ********************* they wanted to cancel the order and reorder again with a Jan 6th delivery date. I told her no and would take care of it myself. Point: how do I know ****** (her real name?) was Jamacian? I commented that her voice and accent sounded just like my pastors wife. And ****** said 'Oh is she from *******? Then we shared about the ********** I then asked her what her name was again and she said ****** in FL. I have dealt with Harry & Davids for over 7 years and never a problem. Maybe ***** and Harry & Davids need to rethink who and how they hire.Harry & David
