      Harry & David has been the WORST to deal with. Buyer beware. I purchased a Christmas gift basket for delivery by Dec 20th to the recipient. It was never shipped, I was charged shipping despite being a "passport member" which qualifies free shipping, and customer service is non-existent.I have tried calling (infinity hold) and working with "virtual assistance" which is truly an exercise in frustration.Very disappointing and my aunt in another state will not receive a gift from me this holiday despite my best efforts.BUYER BEWARE!

      HORRIBLE experience. I placed an order on 12/15. Only 1 item came so after being on hold 45 minutes got someone who said she reordered the other 2 items. 2 days later only 1 item came as she only put in to reorder 1 of the 2 missing items. Again, another 45 minute hold on the phone. The *** this time said she needed to look up the item number so she could reorder it and put me back on hold 30 minutes before disconnecting. I called back - another 45 minute hold and this time asked for the supervisor/manager which I told there wasn't one I could talk to. He said he reordered the missing item but I never got a confirmation it is ordered. So I will call back again today. AVOID ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY!

      We have just had the most dismal experience with Harry and David. We entered our address, IN the email confirmation we saw that Harry and David replaced our WV address with a similar address in **. We spent an hour trying to correct the error. They assured us it was corrected. Today we learned they sent three gift basket to the wrong address in **. We are on hold, listening to an endless loop advising us that H&D can help us build relationships by putting words to emotions that are hard to express. We will never do business with this company again.

      Worst company to deal with. Do NOT order from them. If there is an issue (which I promise there will be) you will never get customer service on phone. They make you wait on hold and then the phone magically hangs up after an automated message saying they are unavailable. Passed around between people for 3 hours. Everyone saying they cant help. Waste of time and money

      Horrible ***************** I have had the worst service. I ordered on 12/7 checked on my order that was due 12/18. My order, after finally talking to a person, will not be delivered until after Christmas . I was first promised expedited shipping and then told that the gift would arrive on 12/21. After being transferred to numerous people and being on chat for over 3 hours, I have been told that my gift will not arrive until 12/26. I have received horrible customer service, horrible recordkeeping, was told that the order was unpaid (which was not true), it has been horrible. In the end, I was denied overnight shipping and was told that it was not in stock. I asked to substitute another item and was denied. I will never shop with the company and its brands again and will encourage my employer to avoid all future purchased with you. I have the transcript of the chat. Strangely, my order increased by over $40 to be late!

      I placed an order on 11/11/2024 that included waffles and other breakfast items. The order is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, 12/20/2024, and I received an email today confirming the delivery---but it's for a gift box that I didn't order! The gift box was for a family with small children, and the substitute contains items kids won't eat. It also includes a bottle of wine, and the parents don't drink! **************** is USELESS, and almost impossible to understand. I will NEVER place another order with Harry & David.

      To start off if they are hosting a sale don't believe it. It's a promotion code that the customer must enter and is not usable with any other code you may have (like free shipping).Secondly, the free shipping code will only take off most of the shipping charges because on their end it's broken down further into "other" charges and delivery cost. A might shady in my opinion.Thirdly, their customer service agent with his poor English skills (said like and look a lot with little getting across) was unable to understand my question of why the code only removed part of the shipping charges. Nor was whomever he kept putting me on hold to ask about it. Nor did he give me a heads up that I was being put on hold. He put me on hold mid word.When asked to speak to his manager he sighed and got solemn then asked what my concern was. I had to laugh.The manager never introduced herself, acknowledged my issue (I can assume ******* never informed her) nor did ahe seem to understand when I requested she review the recording of my conversation with *******...she honestly didn't know that the chap who transferred me to her was him.... communication please.Supposedly she'll take my request that they are transparent with their charges to a higher power. And she mentioned it all on her own so I hope she does. I'm fine paying for a luxury item and shipping is a cost outside of their control so offering free shipping is way nice but I'd prefer to know what my itemized cost is. Thank you.

      Ordered a personalized gift basket and it showed a tracking number and delivery date, but no updates on the tracking so I called to get an update. The representative stated the basket wasn't available and wouldn't be delivered. After an hour on the phone, I asked for them to upgrade the basket and guarantee the original delivery date and they would not. Will not use this company again.
