      I paid my iphone in full and account paid in full. I have an email from the company showing all balances on my account are paid in full and yet base on my bank account I was charge another $19.63. I dont mind that charges but my most concern is to have the company unlock my iphone. I am in *************** right now and need my iphone unlock so I will have something to use in case of emergency. I requested my daughter to call Consumer Cellular to follw my request, but was told I have to call them my self. I did travel almost three house to my sister house so I can use her US line. Unfortunately what I got was just busy signal. I try to go to their web site, but my access was denied. I sent an email to unlock my phone, got a message that the said email is not being monitored. I requested to unlock my phone when I paid in full my account so I can reach my relatives in case of emergency. One time I have car problem since my phone is not in service (E sim not going thru, phone still LOCK, I have to walk a long way just to use a public line. Please I been a loyal customer for more or less 10 years. Wants to know whats holding you up!

      Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience. Consumer Cellular bills in arrears for monthly services and usage, much like a utility company. When an account is closed, there is always a final bill for service through the cancellation date. All of our devices are locked to our service upon purchase by default, and that is the industry standard. To ensure the security of our customers' information, only the account holder and secondary user are allowed access to an account. For assistance unlocking the device, please contact our U.S. based customer service at the number above.

      I am a new customer and overall the service has been working very well. I do have a suggestion; The directions for switching from one service to Consumer Cellular could be tweaked to better reflect what one actually needs to do in order to make the switch. If there was anything that made the process hard was that. Consumer's website is very vague in that area.

      This is actually my wifes new phone and she loves it. It was very easy to set up. Previously we were with Company V and always felt like they were doing us a favor by letting us be a user of their less-than-stellar service. Consumer has treated us like friends for several years and their all in-country service is a gigantic bonus.
