So I used to buy a lot of stuff off this place when it first opened and then it got a little bit shoddy and the stuff was not very well taken care of in the warehouse so I stopped lately I decided to start up again and I won five items last night only to find out that I'm being charged now $3 per item for a lot fee so even as I did and win something for a dollar I'm now up to $5 on that item for the bid fee the lot fee the taxes their percentage they take so it's no longer what it used to be and I'm extremely disappointed and will no longer be a part of this now because now I'm paying a lot fee on every single piece not okay so be prepared to pay way more than what you bid always My dollar bid win cost me $5 and change.M@C Discount

MAC Bid can be very fraudulent. I will say in the beginning I was surprisingly pleased. As I began to bid on things I start getting a bunch of junk. Before I go on I understand as is, but it should be unlawful to sell things that are not operational or functional. I purchased a twin stroller and all the front wheels were missing. I purchased some containers when I picked them up it was not the item presented when bidding. I would have not bid on the item received. On several occasions I bought the acrylic storage/organizers only to find they were cracked. This MAC bid thing is a shop at your own risk type of deal. So with that being said if you dont have money to waste, dont do it dont play around with MAC bid. Also I too have been charge the 7.00 dollar fee on a few occasions when I know in fact I did not select to have the insurance. Ive checked and triple checked to be sure I didnt select that. Because they charge too many fees as it is. If Im auctioning to buy something I want the item to be as cheap as possible why would I want to add an extra fee. Thats why I know they are being fraudulent.M@C Discount

TOTAL CROOKS You think youre buying an 8x10 area rug that is actually a 2x4 rug.Big ticket items are wrapped in 3+layers of cardboard so that it is impossible to inspect and to assure that you leave with it KNOWING that it is broken and useless. They take deceiving pictures of just a portion of an unusable item just so you buy it and they get your money.Horrible business etiquette.M@C Discount

I recently bid on an item and won the bid. When I saw the bill the next day, I saw that they added a $7 charge for buyers assurance insurance which is typically a voluntary charge. I didnt add this insurance. When I went to the warehouse, I spoke with the manager about this mistake prior to picking up the item. He told me that he couldnt do anything and to call customer service. I picked up the item and not long after, I called customer service. I was told that they couldnt do anything since I didnt call before picking up the item. I explained that I wasnt told to call before picking up the item but this accomplished nothing. I wasnt refunded the fee that was incorrectly added to my bill. Their customer service is abysmal and their billing practices need an audit.M@C Discount

Those terms and conditions can easily be referenced at ************************************* a customer is billed for the ****************** that is our signal that the customer added the assurance to their item. The customer is correct that the assurance is optional, but everything we have indicated this customer opted to add the assurance. It is possible that the customer did not realize they were adding, but customers are ultimately responsible for actions taken on their own accounts. I will cite the policy point for reference.2.2. User Accounts - Users are assigned an account name and password on registration. Users are responsible for all actions taken under their account name and password and shall only use the Site using their own account name and password. Users must keep their password safe and shall not disclose it to any other person and shall not permit any other person to utilize their account details. Users are required to complete those transactions that occur using their account name and password, whether such transactions are authorized or not.It is true that **************** may have been able to done something before the item was picked. Before *ou put a bid down on something, consider visiting the warehouse location so *ou can look at the actual object so *ou are aware of what it is missing, if it is damaged or if it's in good condition. Keep this in mind as this compan* resells returned items, so things can be missing batteries or screws etc. The * ********* are all the stuff that is left over that nobod* bid on. Overall I'm ver* happ* with this business model and had good customer service while at the warehouse. Make sure *ou bu* the insurance for each item in case *ou do need to return it within 5 da*s for whatever reason. I would give it a "zero" if I could. Picture showed NEW item. We got it home, totally USED! Bought it for a baby. Think we're going to use something this USED on our granddbaby?? Very misleading, and lied! I will not bid on this site ever again and item is going into the dump! And don't bother posting your terms and conditions. You knew this was unacceptable, nasty and extremely used!!! The BBB should shut you down for this!!!! Money totally wasted!!M@C Discount

Bought ** open box headphones expecting them to be in like new returned headphones. Open box is a term generally used to describe an item in working condition just open box like Best Buy for instance. However M@C Discount sneaks in this term and defines it differently than virtually every other vendor and says that these items could be broken or missing parts. Was not informed that I could inspect prior to purchase and this was my first time purchase with this company. After picking up items I realized they had electronic recycling stickers on them which was the first sign they were someones trash. Then upon opening the boxes, both pairs, the earmuff portion plastic was completely snapped off the headband portion which makes them completely unusable. M@c declined any refunds and pointed my at their terms of service even after explaining I was unaware as a first time customer.$70 dollars for 2 pieces of electronic recycling trash. Thanks for the shady business M@c DiscountM@C Discount
