This auction is a serious buyer beware auction. Anything you buy here is a straight up gamble. You might get lucky but you might get ripped off too. The problem is the auctioneer does not inspect the items at all. I completely understand if an item has dents and scratches but this auction goes way beyond dents and scratches. This auction will sell you items that are completely unusable and should never be placed for resale and therefore should be placed directly in the trash. What this auction does is plant their broken and defective items amongst some new items, luring patrons to the pasture, so to speak. They justify selling these unusable items by a disclaimer, “inspect before you.” A more truthful disclaimer would be, “BUYER BEWARE!!”M@C Discount

As an auction liquidator, M@C Discount runs auctions on items returned to big box retailers for any reason. When customers register to ***********, they are agreeing to abide by our terms and conditions. Those terms and conditions are readily available at https://www.mac.bid/conditions-of-sale.This customer eluded to inspecting items before a bid is placed. That is typically how auctions work. If a customer is not able to inspect prior to bidding, then they can look into adding the ****************** I will paste the assurance policy for reference.2.16. ****************** A User may elect to purchase **************** for any individual item in the auction. This purchase is elected at the time the bid is placed in the auction. The cost varies based on the product characteristics. The **************** product allows the User to return the Item, for which the product was purchased, within 5 Business Days following the date the Item was picked up. This return is treated as a **************** return, and a reason is not required to process the refund. The **************** fee will not be refunded.Auction liquidation is very much a learning curve. We encourage customers to call customer service if they have any questions. They can also ask to speak to a manager if they go to a warehouse as well. If a customer follows our terms and conditions, auction liquidation can be a great thing for them. I really like dealing with M@C. I've had nothing but good experiences dealing with them. The staff are probably the friendliest people I've dealt with in a long time.I've only had to call customer support (for the manufacturer of the product I purchased) in one case where there was a fastener missing from the box. The savings I realized on the purchase made up several times over the small price of the fastener I received from the manufacturer.M@C Discount

We greatly appreciate the 5-star review. In many cases, even if an item is missing some pieces, getting the replacement parts can you still save you money compared to regular. Just to be safe, we always recommend inspecting items before placing a bid or purchasing the ***************** while the auction is live. I purchased 3 air mattresses last summer at 3 different times from this place* They have been in my basement since because I havent needed to use them* I had company for the holiday this past weekend and inflated one (queen) and it slowly deflated within an hour* I got the second one and inflated to find a 3 inch slip in it* Lastly, I inflated the 3rd one to have it deflate as well * Im done buying this junk* I know it is an as is but why wouldnt the big box stores pitch these items when they were returned to the store knowing they didnt hold air???? Good luck to those others who buy the junk* I learned my lesson *M@C Discount

As an auction liquidator, M@C Discount runs auctions on items that were returned to big box retailers for any reason. Being an auction liquidator, we stress to potential customers to read our terms and conditions before they register to ***********. When a customers does register to bid, they are agreeing to those terms and conditions. The terms and conditions can easily be referenced at https://www.mac.bid/conditions-of-sale. This customer is not shedding a fair light on auction liquidation. Customers are allowed to inspect items before they place their bid. We also offer the ***************** on many of our items as well. The assurance guarantees a refund 5 business days from the date of pickup for any reason. It does have to be added before the auction closes. We also do allow for a manager review of items if the customer doesn't believe it to be congruent to the listing. That does have to be done within 30 days from the close of auction. Simply put, we stress, inspect your items. This customer has also failed to mention she had bid on and won many items since she won the last air mattress. In doing so, they saved a lot of money compared to regular retail price. We understand she didn't take them out right away, but after 30 days there isn't anything we can do. We are sorry the customer feels this way, but we do try and help customers the best we can as it relates to our terms and conditions. Auction liquidation isn't always for everyone, but if the terms and conditions are followed, it can be a great thing for many people. Thank you.Review fromJoanne R

I enjoy the bidding terms of items I'm interest in. My daughter told me about M@C and I became a member. I bought all kind of things for me, babies, family, friends....some items were oops, New or Used. Most of the time I come up to inspect items I'm highly interest in. (I do like you are able to open boxes to inspect) Only if they can take better pictures of some of the items you may not get many returns.I've been to most of them in **. note:Your employees are very helpful and welcome you with a smile.M@C Discount

Just be very careful about inspecting your purchases. Bought an Open box Dishwasher and the pictures on their site showed a perfect box. My ***** looked at it while picking up his stuff and said the underneath was a *********** but the box was completely closed so we both figured the rest was fine. When I got it home and opened the box it was totally unusable and damaged beyond repair which is exactly how M@C bids should have classified it. I am not 100% sure that they didn't move this thing and damage it after they took the pictures. I know they will post their BS response but if you saw the pictures of the auction versus the picture of what I got you it's laughable. ****** learned even if it's in a sealed box take a box cutter and open it up because you can't trust them to classify their products properly.M@C Discount

I will paste the Open Box condition code for reference.2.10.2 Open Box Open Box items were sold by a retailer, and potentially used before being returned by the customer. Open Box items may be damaged or have an opened box with missing pieces, so unless the condition of a specific item is explicitly stated, User should not make any assumptions about it other than that it may be ripped, scratched, non-functional or otherwise damaged. All Open Box items are sold AS/IS. M@C makes all items available for inspection prior to bidding, it is the responsibility of the User to inspect all items before placing a bid on the Site.M@C Discount does allow, and encourages, customers to inspect many of our items before they place their bid. We also offer the ***************** on many of our items as well. Enjoy bidding on items that interest me, thank you for that option, but, I would highly recommend inspecting items, as, I did get some dirty, greasy air fryers in the past, and with my job hours, I can't come inspect before bidding. I know it's a risk, but I just wander why those items would even be an option to bid on.M@C Discount
