The worst customer service that I have ever seen anywhere on this plant, and I have been to many states and countries. No one trained them on customer service, and I dont think they even care about it. They look down at you because you are buying form a discounted and a returned items store, so you must be poor and in need, so you dont worth their respect. The one in ****** is the worst. twice that I walked to an employees desk, and she was setting with her feet on the chair which I was shocked to see. They have a bad attitude and its not just one of them, but so many of them. Its the culture of that place and how its run, they look down at their customers, very rude, very ignorant and verry unhelpful. The ones at ********** mile are much nicer and more helpful. I have been to *********** once and I could tell the lady that scanned my barcode had an attitude and she didnt even look at me while talking to me.They made me wonder why on earth I subject myself to this treatment and buy anything form this place. I have decided to stop buying anything from Mac. Bid. Nothing worth it.M@C Discount

Although there is information on the site you may lose your item if not picked up in time it does state it is under the discretion of the location. If isnt ok to keep your money and not receive your items. It truly is theft. Especially when you are also charged a fee to purchase. Not good business practices. If anything a holding fee should be charged automatically.M@C Discount

As an auction liquidator, ******* runs auctions on items that were returned to Big Box retailers for any reason. When customers are registering to bid with us, they are agreeing to our terms and conditions. I think the bidding is fixed. I video-recorded the auction and also took screenshots of my winning bid. This happened twice and each time I won the auction. After winning the auctions time was placed back on the clock for re-bidding. It's totally fixed. Don't waste your time.M@C Discount

We soundly reject the notion that we "fix bids." First, that is very illegal to partake in an action like that. Second, the customers always set the price of the bidding. Our data processor has thousands of bids to process all day and especially toward the end of auctions. If there is even the slightest break in a customer's data of WIFI, it can throw communication off with our server. We also always recommend that our customers to a clear data cache to free up and data storage and to also make sure they have the most current version of our app.If a customer ever has any questions or concerns, they are always able to reach out to our customer service department. **************** is available Monday through Friday 10am-6pm EST. NO REFUNDS!!!! Terrible damaged goods from an unsupervised warehouse. I went crazy and bought 14 items at once. 1 item was completely the wrong item, was supposed to be a lighted aquarium hood, but I got a cheap aquarium screen cover instead and 11 other items of the 14 were severely damaged. The items were fine before the auction ended because I went and looked at most of them. People go to grab their stuff and everything is totally unorganized there with no supervision. People just toss other peoples stuff around trying to get to their stuff. COMPLETE DISASTER!!! AND THERE IS NO REFUNDS!!!M@C Discount

Bidding on open box returns from ****** is always risky but if you inspect the items as the *** state or purchase ***************** as the *** suggest you'll be covered 99 times out of 100. Stock images are not always accurate representations of whats in the box... they're STOCK images, meaning its what the manufacturer or retailer use to showcase the item on their website and because these are OPEN BOX RETURNS, stuff might be used, missing pieces, damaged, etc. Its also important to note that the employees who list these items list several hundred EACH every week...some locations see thousands of items hit the shelves every day so when people ask "why didnt they list it as damaged?" the answer is simply because they only take representational images...its up to the customer to do their due diligence. Mac Bid isn't a retailer....they aren't ******* and don't offer returns with a receipt "just because"...they are an auction liquidator listing previously owned items so they dont want to see it come back. Customers dont have a right to be angry because they chose not to look before they leap.M@C Discount

The quality of the merchandise has dropped the fees and prices have risen I got the membership to get in at 10 am I got there and there were only a few people there and we were all waiting to get a cart there were only 2 available because the others were all full of stuff to be put on the shelves surely with all the income this place generated they could buy some more carts or do like Aldi and make them pay a quarter for a cart so they return it a shopping cart would work for a lot of customersM@C Discount

BUYER BEWARE!! These guys are scammers and do not care what they sell. I bought three items for the first time and two are useless because missing main parts. They can attach their policy all they want to but all we are asking is that you do minimal customer service and look to see if all parts are there. This policy is to cover your a** for the c*** you knowingly sell. If not complete, put that in listing and don't hide behind Internet pictures when everything isn't there. This was a terrible experience for me and recommend everyone open packages at warehouse. You can hide behind your policy all you want but you guys know you are in the wrong. Also, you pay sight unseen and have many hidden fees. Stay away from this company unless you just like to burn money. I have cancelled my account as I want no credit from them to purchase more c*** They would have banned me anyway because they don't want the truth known. Very unethical guys. Do better!!!M@C Discount

I will cite the "Open Box” condition code here.
2.10.2 Open Box - Open Box items were sold by a retailer, and potentially used before being returned by the customer. Open Box items may be damaged or have an opened box with missing pieces, so unless the condition of a specific item is explicitly stated, User should not make any assumptions other than the item may be ripped, scratched, non-functional or otherwise damaged. Customers are always more than welcome to inspect many of our items before they place their bid. We actually encourage inspection before a bid is placed. We do offer the Buyer’s Assurance for many of our items as well. I will paste the Buyer's Assurance terms for reference.
2.16. Buyers Assurance - A User may elect to purchase “Buyers Assurance” for any individual item in the auction. This purchase is elected at the time the bid is placed in the auction. The cost for this product is specified at the time a bid is placed. The price will not change as the bid increases. The Buyers Assurance product allows the User to return the Item, for which the product was purchased, within 5 Business Days following the pickup of the item. This return is treated as a Preferred Buyers Club return, and a reason is not required to process the refund. If an item is transferred from another location, the User is allowed to return the item within 5 Business Days following the pickup of item from the new pick-up location.
If customers ever believe an item is not congruent to the listing, they can bring it in for a Manager Review. A manager would review the item and then compare it to the listing to see if a refund would be warranted. Customers always have 30 days from the close of the auction to ask for a review. I told you didn't have to post policy. I'm very aware that you have your policy worded by lawyers to let you escape all responsibility for your actions whether non-ethical or not. I'm just saying EVERYONE should open packages before leaving warehouse. Also, take a picture of contents of box and post rather than brand new Internet pictures and a list of parts missing. Your business practices are you unethical and disrespectful to hard working folks. Be honest!!!! My friend just bought a box of trash rather than the trim set expected. Is it your employees? All I'm saying is do better and warning everyone not to leave warehouse without checking the contents. Y'all run a dirty business and it will catch up with you. I'm on a page on ******** with hundreds of complaints because I'm not the only one. We as a people are tired of being used and abused by scammers like you. Customers pay your bills and deserve the best service possible.
