Buyer beware as your credit card data is not secure in their site. They have no assistance to help you and try to answer fraud inquiries with a bot. We had good experiences with MAC. BID and had made dozens of purchases until we had two charges show up that we did not recognize. They also didnt show in our bid history. We tried to reach out to ******* immediately. We tried to call and had to leave a message. We also emailed and got a canned bogus response from ******* their BOT. We called the next day and got a real person. We spoke to ****. She said our items were last chance items and that she could see we had never bid on the items. It was also paid through a 2 click procedure and did not go through the normal invoice process. So in short, MAC BID can see and confirmed there is suspicious activity within their site. Yet they only offered to close our account, offered no investigation into the fraudulent activity, and no refund for the fraudulent charges. ****** requires a payment on file to participate but clearly, they do not have security measures to protect your personal financial information and have inadequate customer service resources to address such concerns. Use at your own risk

As an auction liquidator, ******* runs auctions on items that were returned to Big Box retailers for any reason. When customers are registering to bid with us, they are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Those terms and conditions can easily be referenced at ******************************** I will cite our user account and Last Chance Deals policy points here.2.2. Users must keep their password safe and shall not disclose it to any other person and shall not permit any other person to utilize their account details. Users are required to complete those transactions that occur using their account name and password, whether such transactions are authorized or not.2.10.4 Last Chance Deals - Items sold as Last Chance Deals are sold AS/IS, MAC cannot process returns or issue refunds on these items. *** makes all items available for inspection prior to bidding, it is the responsibility of the User to inspect all items before placing a bid on the Site.We do always stress to out customer to make sure their phone and their app are secure on their end. We can assure anyone that the security is in place on our end. We take extra care in safeguarding our customers' sensitive information. Thank you.

Carts are scarce, warehouses are stripped and dimly lit with ridiculously inconvenient hours and distant unless you happen to live near one were your item is located, otherwise expect a substantial "****$$$fer Fee".There is no Actual distinction to between their Condition Codes labeled "Like New", "Open Box" and "Damaged". Almost everything I have purchased was damaged to some extent and often complete trash with no recourse or ********* the time they finish with a universal $3 fee, tacking on an another 15% fee (?), a $7 and up-up-up buyer protection fee and a $5 and up-up-up transfer fee it becomes completely ridiculous to take the substantial risk on most items.Pray your not used to Nordstrom's, because on top of the ridiculous cost escalations, travel and risk, the warehouse conditions are apocalyptic. Finding your item(s) and uncovering them from the mountain of debris is also an unpleasant adventure. Expect long arrival and parting ******** the end I am happy to pay for convenience, zero risk, a predictable fair deal with easy returns, no travel-delivered to my door and no lugging filthy boxes. Overall I rate my experience as poor and expensive.

When customers are registering to bid with us, they are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Those terms and conditions can easily be referenced at ********************************** will cite the "Open Box condition code here.2.10.2 Open Box - Open Box items were sold by a retailer, and potentially used before being returned by the customer. Open Box items may be damaged or have an opened box with missing pieces, so unless the condition of a specific item is explicitly stated, User should not make any assumptions other than the item may be ripped, scratched, non-functional or otherwise damaged. All Open Box items are sold AS/IS. *** makes all items available for inspection prior to bidding, it is the responsibility of the User to inspect all items before placing a bid on the Site.Customers are always more than welcome to inspect many of our items before they place their bid. We actually encourage inspection before a bid is placed. We do offer the **************** for many of our items as well. I will paste the ***************** terms for reference. 2.16. **************** - A User may elect to purchase **************** for any individual item in the auction. This purchase is elected at the time the bid is placed in the auction. The cost for this product is specified at the time a bid is placed. The price will not change as the bid increases. The **************** product allows the User to return the Item, for which the product was purchased, within 5 Business Days following the pickup of the item. This return is treated as a ********************* return, and a reason is not required to process the refund. If an item is transferred from another location, the User is allowed to return the item within 5 Business Days following the pickup of item from the new pick-up location. If customers ever believe an item is not congruent to the listing, they can bring it in for a Manager Review. A manager would review the item and then compare it to the listing to see if a refund would be warranted. Customers always have 30 days from the close of the auction to ask for a review. A review can be done at any location. Reviews are at the complete discretion of the manager. All of our fees are listed on each item's auction page. We also make mention to our fees in our terms of use as well. We always stress to our customers to bid accordingly as it relates to auction fees, as well as, our hold/transfer fees. Auction liquidation is very much a learning experience and it isn't always for everyone. It is our goal to give these items a second life by keeping them out of landfills while saving our customers up to 80% off of retail prices. If one follows our terms and conditions, auction liquidation can be a great thing for many people. Thank you.

If I could give this review negative stars, I would. I purchased an open-box robot vacuum. Inspected the photos prior to bidding and it looked brand new. Paid for and picked item up and brought it home. Didnt work. Checked the battery compartment and sure enough, no battery. Okay no problem. Hop on ****** and order a replacement battery & put it in. Item is completely dead and non-functional. Like many other people, read the fine print and come to find out, I have no recourse for getting my money back. After reviewing other reviews and complaints, this seems to be an ongoing issue with this business and their ridiculous policies. Dont waste your time or money purchasing anything from this business. All they want to do is take your money and leave you with a pile of junk.

Mac Bid is a total rip on 8/26/2024 I was charged for 2 index pool pumps that I clearly did not bid on. So I call customer service and have talked to 4 different women 3 of which told me that their IT department will look into this they all try to me that it was a last chance deal so they cant refund my money and I said I never bid on anything that night was not even in the app the night and now that the pick up time is over Im out my money plus the items i was charged for. When I asked about the items when I first spoke to them I was told not to worry about if you didnt purchase them dont pick them up so basically someone in Mac took it upon themselves to just charge me for something and they stole money from me

MAC Bid is a fraud. I bought recessed lights and before I left i opened the box and there were not recessed lights in the box, it was s**** in light bulbs. The description clearly didn't match what you were selling. I asked for a return and I was told anything can be an open box they have no control. What total c*** What stops them from advertising a light and selling you bricks instead? I am done with this racket.

In the past two months I have sent numerous complaints to the customer service at Mac discount. I bid and won 10 hoses, when I got home seven of them had the ends cut off. I purchased stove top burners, one of which was broke in half. Today I won an open box WOK and a set of pots and pans, both open box. The WOK had obviously been used for years, rusted and scratched and unusable. The pots came with no screws or washers to attach the handles. The response is always the same that I should have taken the insurance which the cost is outrageous for each item. Todays response was that open box can mean scratched, missing parts, damaged etc. they have the option to state damaged but do not put it. Buyer

I recently won a massage bed at the ****** MAC auction. I got the insurance just to be safe. When I got home after I picked up my bed I opened it and it was perfect! No problems! I was a little confused when I went to pick up my bed at the ****** Mac auction and the staff was more than happy to help me locate the box.
